Kir walked over to Lily, "What's your name?" He asked Megumi. His voice is frail and weak since he's still adapting to speech.

"People of course. That is if you are people... Who knows, last time I checked with the locals, this mansion was deserted...." Megumi's voice trailed off. "Why would you be suspicious? Vampires never really held grudges towards elves, last time I remembered."
Smiling at Kir warmly, but still keeping her loaded bow aimed in Lily's direction, Megumi said,"I'm Megumi Arakawa. What's yours?"

"because you can't be too careful," Lily replied. "And this place was deserted, until we came." She was starting to relax a little bit. So far Megumi hadn't tried anything, except train her bow on a vampire, but Lily would have done the same in her position.

Megumi lowered her bow after a cautious glance at the vampire. She didn't seem too aggressive. Maybe she had been a bit nosy by stalking. "Alright, then Kir." Megumi swung the bow on her back, and tossed the arrow back in its quiver. "Don' t blame you, Vampire-girl. Hehe. It's true, don't trust people nowadays. But how did you guys get in? I thought the place was booby-trapped."

Kir relaxed a little when Megumi's weapon was put away. He was glad that for once they could avoid fighting.
