The silence inside the orphanage was incredibly eerie....it was the perfect setup for a horror movie. You know the ones where the lovable character dies first....thank the heavens I was never that lovable. Itaku chuckled to himself as he walked in, his right hand in ready position to draw his blades if need be. He wandered into the hallway further and once again called out.
"Hello is there anyone here...specifically a Nao or Yuki..." Itaku very much had unfinished business a complete retreat was not the wisest move on the Blue Coats part....Itaku himself had a much better plan..

Greg didn't feel right about Itaku being in snowtown, and when he said he was looking for Nao and Yuki, a redflag shot up....is this the threat i'm feeling? No...it can't be. Why would he be a problem?.....He held up a hand and signaled Yuki to hide somewhere before taking a look at Itaku with his aura-detecting eye....his aura is not as it usually is. It looks like anger? No...something else....He rested his hand on his side, inches above his knife, which wouldn't be much help. He would have to summon his scythe if it came to battle. He took a small breath and stepped forward. "Itaku? Didn't you hear the orders?" he asked, "The army was commanded to return to base for recovery."

Itaku was puzzled at the sudden appearance of another Blue Coat. It was the powerful young lad Greg...if Itaku was recalling correctly he used a scythe as his primary weapon. Fitting for the ides of war I suppose... Itaku sensed some tension between the two but was unsure why. Could this boy perhaps detect his feelings and emotions....or perhaps even thoughts....this could very well be a problem...
" Oh, hello there Greg. Why of course I heard the orders to retreat but I couldn't leave myself to abandon this town while it was in it's hour of need. I helped Yuki and Nao get aboard the ship, I was hoping everyone made it out okay...perhaps it was my imagination...the whole ship thing... I do know for a fact that I ran into Yuki and Nao and helped them in town however.... " The lieutenant fiddled with his scarf doing his best to shield his emotions. " I have recovered quite nicely..no need to worry about me." Itaku brushed some snow off of his hair and smiled lightly. "What brings you here....." Itaku was quickly becoming nervous of this entire situation....

((Just an FYI Itaku, but Celeste's gonna be out of the picture for a bit. She's currently in a coma at the medical infirmary so...yeah...she's not gonna be able to see Itaku for a while...))
Yuki hung back in the kitchen, but didn't hide. She had faith in her fighting abilities, enough that she was fairly sure she would be of some use if it came to a battle. Her grip on the kitchen cleaver tightened, as she slipped up behind Greg and poked her head out of the kitchen to see for herself who had invaded her home. Almost instantly, Yuki recognized Itaku; she nearly called out to him, happy to see he was safe. However, something stopped her. She wasn't sure just what caused those chills to cascade down her spine; whether it was the tension in the air, or the strange out-of-place quality to Itaku's presence, or something else she wasn't sure. The one thing Yuki was sure of was that her instincts were telling her to stay away from that man and she'd be damned if she stopped listening to her instincts now.

Greg couldn't help but notice the coldness in the air all of a sudden. "I've taken the responsibily of scouting out the damage of snowtown so that I can send a reconstruction report back to base. In about 5 days I'll be having a squad come in to assist the rebuilding.." He replied easily, watching Itaku's aura shift and swerve. "Are you okay? You seem a bit.....nervous..."he asked, his silver eyes trained on the trail his aura was taking......something's wrong, I don' want to have to fight him..but I'm afraid that may be an option. What's going on?.....

Nao walked up behind Itaku quietly. She could sense the tension in the air. Nao instantly decided Greg was the good guy. She remembered Itaku, but something was off then, and it seemed like it had gotten worse. Nao raised a finger to her lips, signaling to Greg not to give away she was there. She slipped her knife out of it's sheath resting on her hip. Nao was contemplating weather or not she should trip him, then hold the knife to his throat or not, because after all, this man did possess magic abilities. She glanced up at Greg, hoping some quiet plan would form between them. Nao knew it was bad to trust him so soon, but it was necessarily now. Itaku was clearly the enemy.

Greg kept his gaze on Itaku, but he noticed the aura of Nao behind him. He focused carefully so that the bridge wouldn't be interrupted by Itaku.......Nao, walk away now. I don't want you getting hurt.....he said to her mind. He hoped that she'd realize it was really him, and not her own thoughts. He cleared his throat and smiled partially, still waiting for Itaku's response.

Nao rolled her eyes and made a playful stabbing motion towards Itaku. She raised an eyebrow. Nao felt adrenaline rush through her veins...but it felt...weird. Her eyes flashed a bunch of different colors. Red, white black, purple...blue.

(All good I had an idea for the whole Itaku/Celeste thing but there is no rush smile )
Itaku slowly let out a breath. The tension in the air was clear and sharp. Itaku had already noticed the girl behind him and the fact Yuki was in the kitchen. He calmly spoke any shred of nervousness immediately vanished from his body.
" First off Ms. Nao your not as sneaky as you perceived....any man could feel that cold stare of yours....it's one of killer intent. Second....how am I all of a sudden the bad guy... I have not come here to fight anyone...my goal is one of a much nobler intent." He smiled lightly, turning around he gave a small wave to Nao who was holding one of her signature knives. Itaku once turned to Greg. " If you think I came here for a fight you are oblvious to the majority of the world, who in their right mind would fight in an orphange. There are children everywhere, I can't change the fact that they were born into a war, but as God as my witness I refuse to bring any battle to their doorsteps..."
The lieutenant calmly strode across to rest his body against one of the old Victorian walls. He calmly slid his hand through his hair. " I did not count on you being here Greg....my goal as of right now is to help rebuild this town and make it safer for Yuki, Nao and the children. Regardless of orders or not...immediate action is required to protect these children's futures. You wouldn't dare deny me that now would you Greg..." Itaku's voice was cold once again, he smiled hoping to ease the tension.

(( so what is Itaku's mission? Just curious))
Greg remained motionless. His body visibly eased, but he was ready to strike if needed. "Of course not Itaku, so long as no harm comes to any of the citizens...or soldier that come to help.." he added, still cautious of Itaku's actions. "Nao, please come over to Yuki and take care of the rest of the children. I'd like to....converse with my good friend here about rebuilding your town." he said with a small smile. Although, under the smile, he held a face of expressionless.....what is he up to? This isn't like him..something's off..... He removed his hands from his sides and held an arm into the direction of the door. "Shall we?" he asked

( It all depends on how this guild advances smile . Right now just to help Snowtown. More as it develops smile )
" I would never dream of hurting this town or the people in it, they are to valuable. They are the future of this war, it would be in our best interests to help them to the fullest.... " Itaku still sensed Greg's unease and it completely amused him. He would continue to play the hand that was dealt to him. This was just a minor hiccup, he did mean everything he said about this town and it's citizens though.... " You would like to.... chat, I have no objections." Itaku smiled and tightened his scary as he walked out the door. He sat on one of the steps with his hands in his lap, quiet and contemplating he wondered what Greg was going to say....

[[so what was the deal with the mysterious phone call? lol]]
Greg sat beside Itaku without a word. He slipped his army-issued knife out of its sheath, and lay it on the ground to his side. "My apologizes, I've stabbed myself just sitting down with that thing on before." he said with a small smile. "Itaku, I came here to rebuild...but the way i see it, it may be too early to do any major repairs with the assist of magic. I came with the intention to rebuild by hand, that way the children especially would know that we're the good guys once enough time has passed that we do restore the rest of town with magic." he paused and scanned the city around him. "I failed at compleatly preserving this town. The force field i managed to create at the climax of the bombings wasn't enough to save every building...or every life..." he muttered. And as if on cue, three men crossed their vision, carrying a small casket, the size of a child's. "I'm just as at fault as the red army... But my point is, if you're planning on staying to help, go easy on the magic until I put the order out for a specific squad. We're here undercover minus the few that know who we really are."

(Color may not work. I'm on my phone haha. The phone call can go any matter of ways. All depends on how this guild developed haha smile leaving my character open to many paths.)
"It was obvious from the start you were undercover, I would never try and blow it. Your goals are noble just as mine, this town is going to become very important eventually. I'd like to say they can escape the war, however I know that it is very unlikely..." Itaku sighed lightly as a sharp pain drove itself into his brain like a dagger. Someone close to him was in great pain, but who...it couldn't be Nao or Yuki...it had to be Celeste the Red Coat soldier... Itaku shook the pain off and adjusted himself once more. His body was suddenly overcome with chills as he watched the small coffin pass, all of these sacrifices and for what...peace?
" Please don't be hard on yourself Greg, you did the best you could do. I wish we were close to each other when you created the shield, I would have assisted you to protect a greater area of the town." Itakus mind was distraught he couldn't remember a majority of the last battle. " I know I fought alongside Nao and Yuki to protect them and this town, but I can't remember the battles.....my apologizes but you can see my brain isn't as focused as it should be. Please forgive my abnormal disposition..." The lieutenant smiled lightly and pulled out a lighter from his pocket, flicking it back and forth he began to plan furthermore ahead.
" I really support your idea of building it by hand, you have my fullest support. I am as strong and fit as any kid my age should be. If you will allow me, I'd like to begin work right away. When the time comes to enforce it with magic, you can sign me up for that as well. I am not weak, nor do I remember a time I was ever weak....it would be an honor to assist you." Itaku smiled warmly, when the thought struck his mind. " Why are you so attached to this town Greg?" Itaku was generally intrigued.

Greg smiled weakly....why am I attached?....He closed his eyes and felt them burn behind his eyelids, but like any other time, no tear came....because it's so much like home...the home i lost days after i joined this army...but that's not also why...He reopened his eyes and looked at the ash-covered land around him. "I met a girl......not very long ago.....she was a redcoat soldier...but she didn't belong." he paused and frowned. "But who does really?" He stood up and glanced at the building that he assumed used to be the small cafe in town. "I brought he here before the battle of the sand dunes.... I got to know her, i fell for her.....and eventually, she was killed by Lana....." he paused and watched as another coffin passed by. He could feel his emotions running high, which wasn't like him at all. He was shocked to see his body's aura glowing beyond the sight of his special eyes...anybody could see it if they wanted to....he tried to calm it and took a deep breath. HE turned back to Itaku, his eyes fairly cold, but filled with hate and sorrow. "This needs to end; This Bloody War needs to end before we have more places like this!" he yelled, his aura jumping all around. "You cannot tell me that you haven't lost a loved one because of it Itaku, Everybody has." he said heavily. "I guess another reason I'm here, is because I feel this is a place of neutral emotions. Anna and I met here. We were from two different armies.....yet she finally saw what I saw...We're from two armies...but we're from one species"
