Rujin nodded as he finished his lecture. "Alright, let's start. I'll go first." He started by moving a pawn a step forward. Some spectators began to gather, betting on whoever will win. Rujin had some practice playing with his fellow minutemen whenever they had time to play. His mind comprehended quick chess moves and the chain of moves that would lead to his or Nao's victory.

Kaida happily took the candy from Nao and sat back down in her chair to eat it and watch Nao and Rujin play a board game, but mostly concentrating on her rarely received candy.

Rujin Snegjya studied Nao's moves, but failed to notice something crucial... "Look, she's got him checkmated!" shouted a spectator. Rujin looked, and saw it was true. His king was surrounded by Nao's pieces. "Wow, you're really good at this." The crowd, after settling bets and stuff like that, dispersed back to their tables.

Greg stared at the rose, the light dancing off the crystals that form it. He muttered something under his breath, and a small message began to carve itself out. Small letters, only visible when looked up through a light, created the three words. He smiled when he was able to finish. "Hold it to the light." he whispered. He eyed the three words and smiled
....not an act.....

Anna caught her breath and stared at the flower. "Greg this is beutiful!" She said. Anna picked up the delacate rose and held it to the light. Her exppression fell when she saw the engraving. "Oh my god, Greg." Anna paused. "I'm sorry. Very sorry. I didn't mean to lead you on I, I, thought it was just an act. I don't feel the same way." She said staring into Greg's eyes. "I'm so sorry....." She whispered once more. "We're just friends."Anna bit her lip softly and stood up after an awkward moment of silence. "I should go." She said quickly and ran out the door. When she came outside, her ams were freezing. Anna glanced around to see where she could go. With no succsses Anna slumped down in a dry corner in an ally. A shadow and a loud crack made her bolt to her feet. With a moment's hesitation, she sptinted towards the town square, in the freezing cold.[exit to snowtown square]

Greg stared at the rose on the table. He sighed and pocketed it in one of his cargo pockets. He payed the waiter, and paused. His jacket still remained on the chair where Anna was...she's going to freeze..... He picked it up, and left the building in a hurry.

Overhearing the couple, Rujin Snegjya sighed and shook his head sympathetically. "Tsk, tsk. Oh well. Seriously, that young couple could freeze outside, especially in the snow storm. And right now, outside is not the best place to make amends." He took a sip of whiskey.
