ON the next day, Terra paced back n' forth waiting for the messenger bird to come back, "Will you stop doing that Terra!?" Mei Laun asked, "Its getting us very dizzy."
"Sorry, I'm just worried about our messenger hawk, and I wonder if it made it to Omashu safely."
"I'm sure Hawkie made it to King Bummi." Roku said as he hugged her. Terra started to blush.

The next morning provided successful results. As they exited the Underground Road, Tayu had to block the intense sunlight streaming out, and within sight, almost a mile away. "Omashu! There!" she pointed.
"Ah, oh my goodness it's been a long time since I've been here." Tayu remarked, fiddling with her hair tie as she pulled up into their neat buns. "I haven't seen King Bumi since I was seven...it was the first time I ever travelled by the Ba Ta Se."

King Bumi was taking a stroll with Flopsy, and smiled, "What a beautiful morning, huh Flopsy?" Flopsy nodded and hugged Bumi.

Raki gazed on towards Omashu, a grin on his face. He had been to Omashu once before, and while not as grand and large as Ba Sing Se, it definitely had one advantage over Ba Sing Se: The mail system. He'd heard rumors of how the King used them for a super slide. Raki honestly felt the king was a crazy old man, but he was sure that the King could have fun, even in his excruciating old age. "We should be save in those walls for a while." Raki said reassuringly.

Tayu looked nervously back towards the Underground Road. "Mmph. Yes lets hurry."
The ragtag group made their may across the bridge. The guard naturally earthbended a rock and left it hovering above their heads. "Halt! State your business."
"I'm, err, excuse us please." Tayu said politely, stepping forward to flash her royal seal. "But we must speak with King Bumi immediately. My father and all of Ba Sing Se is in danger-"
"Oh! Excuse me princess." The guard quickly put the rock away from their heads. "We weren't expecting your royal personage to arrive. We'll round up a carriage at once."
The word went around quickly, the carriage coming up to usher a dirtied Princess Tayu and her bodyguards inside while the locals gossiped eagerly over the unexpected and exciting business at hand.

(I guess now's the time to give this RPG a kick start! *kicks*)
The three of them arrived at the palace and were awaited by a volley of valets as well as the advisor to the king. "I'm afraid the king has stepped out for a walk with his pet right now," the advisor said apologetically. "But we shall be more than happy to take care of your needs. Gentlemen," he gestured the guards to several servants holding clean clothes, "Your Majesty," he showed Tayu to a small band of maids. "King Bumi will be happy to see you all over supper."
Tayu managed to hold her appetite out for supper, instead focusing on her less than admirable state of cleanliness. The cave walk had ruined her shoes, the gold soles cracking open, and her clothes were rumpled and dirty from her uncomfortable nap in the cave. She soaked in the bath, scrubbed herself down and let the maids brush and put her hair back up in their twin signature buns, a light cover of make-up applied, and finally dressed in a ivy green dress with white ruffled edges.
She arrived from her quarters into the dining hall as fresh as a bouquet, clean and delicate. She curtisied to King Bumi at the head of the dinner table, and gave a polite nod to her guards, who looked noticeably better from the attention of the valets.
"Thank you for your generousity King Bumi," Tayu beamed. Bumi was impossible not to like, and he'd been kind and playful when she first met him. She took her seat next to him, extravagant foods laid out on the table. "I'm sorry the circumstances could not be kinder."

Raki was led away to his quarters as well, a short distance from the Princess's own. He had one of the servants wash his clothes while he bathed. He was used to long distance travel, unlike the princess, he knew. Then again, he was used to a lot of things she wasn't accustomed to, and about to find out about on their journeys. He redressed when his clothes were clean, and returned his sword to his back, placing on his cloak, and heading to the dining hall that Dinner was meant to take place.

(Just going to control Bumi for a little bit mkay? Nothing out of character.)
"I see, over one hundred thousand citizens of Ba Sing Se, the Avatar and his buddies, are all under the control of Azula and Ozai? Correct?" Bumi asked. Tayu turned pink with humiliation at the reminder of her disgraceful flight. "Yes." she replied in a very small voice.
"Well it could be worse."
A guard quickly came in through the door in the middle of their meal. "Your highness, a Miss Terra is asking for you at the palace gates."
"Spiffy! I knew it could have been worse!" Bumi turned to Tayu, "Looks like my good buddy Aang's kids managed to sneak out alright. We'll have help yet! Send them in!" he ordered.
Tayu fisted and twisted the napkin in her lap, having lost her appetite. She did not know any of them...save for Prince Roku whom she had met through delegations and politics once at the Fire Nation. She felt herself flush with shame even further. What would they think of the so-called great Princess of Ba Sing Se know?
Tayu gulped down her nervousness and pushed away her food. "I'm not hungry anymore."

Trou walked into the dining hall and saw his old mentor, King Bummi talking with the princess. "My friend how are you", said Trou to King Bummi, "Its been a few years huh my friend. And you have another guest? You told me in those years of training you hated guests." Trou than walked over to Terra and said, "I am Trou and you are"? He held out his hand to shake hers.

"My name is Terra Bei Fong. I'm the daughter of Avatar Aang." She said shaking Trou's hand, "King bumi, Azula and her friends haven't come here have they?" She asked worried. "No. They're at Ba Sing Se still."
Terra lowered her head, worried about her father, and Bumi lifted her head, "Where are the others?" "They're at the Eastern Air Temple, training so we could soon defeat Azula and that Fire Nation Spy she hired to capture us."

"A Fire Nation spy?"
Tayu dared to lift her head. She got a clear look at Terra, who had the same simple, yet pure appearance of her parents. "I did send a message to the Northern Water Tribe and the Fire Nation counsel," she mused aloud, "But that was two days ago. I'm not sure what the other kingdoms are going to do about it."
"Terra," she adressed her directly, "Do you know if this spy could intercept messages on a messenger hawk?"
