Aila took the moment that the man turned his eyes from her to signal her two pokemon, each of which nodded in understanding. When he turned back to her, she took the map graciously, "Thank you so much!"

And there was the key phrase. She drew her arm up to cover her mouth as Fleur's flower erupted in a cloud of Sleep Powder. Revenant watched from the tree-line, preparing to make her own move should the Ivysaur fail.

The man blinked and sneezed once as powder suddenly filled the air. "Eh... what's dis? Eeeuugh."

The heavyset man then fell over with a thud, loud snoring signaling that he was fast asleep from the Sleep Powder's effects.

And what appeared were... three Pidgey. The trio blinked and looked around, at each other, and then at the strange person that they didn't know. The Pokemon looking very confused.

Claire had to blink several times to make sure her eyes weren't betraying her, and once reassured they weren't, she chuckled a bit. "I shouldn't be the least bit surprised," she said, shaking her head with a smirk before recalling all three. With a bit of shuffling with the belt, she pulled the other three off, doing the same as the first time and releasing all three. "I wonder if these three are all Pidgey too, eh Zeus?"

"Chuu," he huffed. It didn't matter to him what they were. Even though he did enjoy the type advantage over Odette.

Metal ridged knuckles cracked against Umbreon's face. with a sharp yip, and growl the dark type let go, feet landing on the ground.
Despite the strong skull, and tough skin that Umbreon's had, the punch from the human had managed to break the skin, blood glistened over Umbreon's face, down narrowed red eyes that glared coldly at the biker. Getting ready to leap at him again.

Still out of sight, Faleen watched as her team vanished from her view, this didn't worry her though.
Her main concern was getting her hands on the pokeballs for those two pokemon, and that would mean incapacitating the Biker...
Narrowing her eyes with a determined sigh, trying to swallow the nerves that suddenly formed at the sight of the much stronger man...
Pushing to a low hunch up to move herself quickly through the brush toward where the fallen tree was, watching the man fighting off her Umbreon.
"Umbreon, Shuppet, Switch. Shuppet, blind him."

Umbreon turned on a dime, with a sharp acknowledgment, streaking into the cloud with Absol to engage the other two, Using his Faint Attack, and Absol, while trying to shake the sand that had been flung into his eyes, used his Ariel Ace again, both of them targeting Flareon.

Shuppet come out, flying right toward the biker, the skirt that was his body flaring out to try and envelop his head and wrap around tightly.
While his master stepped out into the open, getting at least ten feet from the biker.

With the cloud of smoke in the air, the man backed up but then yelled in alarm as the Shuppet enveloped his face. "Hey get off!" The Biker yelled, seeming rather annoyed, not to mention in pain with blood running down his arm. He tried to grab at the ghost in attempt to pull it off.

When Faleen came out of hiding, a sudden red blur emerged from the cloud of smoke. "CHAAAR!" The Charmeleon snarled while leaping forward and swinging its arm at her in a wicked Slash attack. Two could play at this game. If they were attacking his owner, he'd attack theirs too.

The Flareon cried out as it was struck from both attacks, however... it soon retaliated. Its eyes glowing and soon its entire body. In the next moment the Eeveelution seemed to erupt in a wild burst of seering flames, an Overheat attack.

Girly pokémon? How childish. Still, so it went; perhaps he would in turn have the childish satisfaction of frightening the life out of the stupid brat. Hrumphing quietly to himself, Frost stepped out onto the path behind the trainer, grimacing internally as he saw the sparks of electricity crawl across his partner's fur.

"I hope you're prepared for trouble, boy," the he said softly as Skiron's fur spiked up angrily with ice. "Glaceon, give them an Icy Wind." Hopefully that would slow the electric type down, and reduce the disadvantage Skiron was suffering from; if the child got caught up in the attack then so much the better. After that... Well, they'd have to play it by ear, but if there was any chance to snatch that pokeball from the young trainer he hoped Skiron was poised to take it. Were there other pokeballs in those rather unsecure pockets, he wondered?

User Image

Gritting his teeth, Skiron snarled at the offending pikachu and struggled to overcome his cramping muscles in order to battle and use Icy Wind as instructed. He was not going to fail his master, not today, not tomorrow, not ever... If he could just grab that pokeball and get it over to Frost, the battle would be as good as over, unless of course there were more pokeballs in the boy's pockets. Still, for now he needed to focus on the moment, if any good chances to snatch pokeballs came he'd take them, and if not he'd just beat the child's pathetic pokemon into the dirt.

The kid jumped slightly but turned around quickly to glare at the emerging Rocket. "Ah ha! I knew that Glaceon had to have a trainer! What's the big idea?! Too scared to face me without hiding?" The kid smirked arrogantly.

"Go Sparky! Use Double Team!"

The Pikachu smirked as well, seemingly as arrogant as its owner when its formed suddenly blurred and gave the illusion of multiple Pikachu.

"Mmh, terrified," Frost replied blandly, "what a genius you are for seeing through my clever facade of total indifference. Well done." Almost everything to do with 'people skills' totally passed him by, but one thing Frost had mastered was the art of sarcasm. It was probably wasted on this little imbecile, but seen as it didn't come naturally to him he felt it prudent to practice even if it wouldn't be appreciated...

Ah, but he had a battle to win. As the pikachu began to blur, Frost raised one pale eyebrow very slightly. "Glaceon, don't be fooled, you know what to do." Such a cheap trick, so easily thwarted. Still, had he not been sensible enough to have a move prepared for occasions such as this, the tactic might have presented a problem; as it was it was merely annoying.

Indeed he did know what to do. Sparing only a moment to hiss at the nearest could-be-pikachu, Skiron closed his eyes. "You can run, rat, but you can't hide!" So saying, the ice type unleashed a deadly accurate Swift attack.

Aila realized she had been holding her breath for more than just the Sleep Powder, and exhaled slowly, keeping her arm firmly in place lest the residual spores lingering in the air affect her as well. She approached the unconscious man and unclipped the two pokeballs she had spied earlier, backing away quietly so as to avoid somehow rousing him.

"Revenant, Fleur," she called in a low voice, "we're through here. Let's go." She started away at a brisk pace, the Ivysaur and Misdreavus following at a similar speed. She proceeded into the forest and returned to the place where she had stashed her bag and her uniform. Before changing back into her proper attire, though, she found it wise to count her spoils. One at a time would be most effective, she decided.

"Fleur, be ready to tranquilize the pokemon should it show signs of hostility," she warned, soliciting an understanding "saur" from her companion. She then pressed the release switch.

The three Pokemon were released and... yep. Three more Pidgey. The birds looking just as confused as the last set.

Well. Umm. ......well.

She didn't laugh this time, or snicker or chuckle or allowed any other amused noise to escape her. This wasn't funny in the slightest anymore, and only served to frustrate her. A blush crept onto her cheeks as a glare slowly formed, aimed at the three birds. "Ugh, I should've known she'd have nothing but common bird pokemon. And all the same species, too. Really?" She huffed, recalling all three and reattaching them to the belt. It would be embarrassing to return with a full team of Pidgey. True, she did acquire a full set of pokemon, but they were all Pidgey. And looked completely untrained, at that, judging from their nearly identical reactions to a complete stranger letting them out, rather than their owner. The girl couldn't even have one other type of pokemon?! How pathetic. Absolutely ridiculous.

Zeus just blinked, flicking an ear. He didn't care what went on as long as he was rewarded for his actions.

Claire frowned, visibly irritated as she headed towards the group of jeeps again. It didn't take long for her to get there, and once there she walked right up to Seth, saluted appropriately, and offered the belt full of Pidgey. "Here you go, sir. All six are Pidgey, I'm afraid," she said, still looking rather vexed at the situation despite the fact she was trying to suppress the visible signs. "If I may be allowed to, sir, would it be alright if I may go out once more to find another target, or perhaps aid another Rocket?" If not, so be it, but she would not be satisfied just bringing back common Pidgey. She still could hardly believe that the girl didn't have even one other type of pokemon. Ugh. She offered another salute while speaking, just in case. She didn't want him to think she was being disrespectful or anything. "I'd feel much better if I could bring back, or help to bring back, stronger or less common pokemon." Meaning, in layman's terms, she was not the slightest bit satisfied with what she'd brought back, wanting to redeem herself in no one's eyes save her own. In her mind, this was a failure, and that was unacceptable.

Shuppet wrapped on tightly, staying solid enough to where his vision was mostly covered, but making sure whenever we went for a grab that the hand wouldn't have much to grab.
His eyes went to his master, widening when he saw the fire type attacking her.
"SHUP SHUP!" he shot off a shadow ball for the Charmeleon.

"AAH!' that, she wasn't expecting, she would have thought her pokemon would be engaged in a battle with this one as well, Where were her pokemon!?
She felt the hot pain in her arm as she went to take the biker down with her taser. Her reaction pushed her from the pokemon however. She felt metal hit her back. as both her and the bike then tumble down, thankfully she was able to roll back and get onto her feet, her other hand reaching up to grab her arm.
how raised a bigger concern, if that fire type wanted to use fire by this bike, it would blow the gas tank, that wouldn't be good for any of them.

The two darks were blown back, Fur igniting before if left the two smoldering.
Absol was on the ground, panting, Umbreon was still on his feet, though his fur was smoking from the heat. his breath was heavy as well, one eye closed to try and bare the pain. He did a much better job at it then Absol did.
Not waiting for his partner to get up. Umbreon attacked with a Dark Pulse, sending the sharp wave of darkness from his black body toward the blowing, burning Flareon.

Not so cheap if you don't have an always accurate attack. Which the Glaceon happened to have. The kid huffed, but Swift wasn't -that- strong anyway, so it was of little consequence.

The kid just ignored the Rocket's sarcasm. After all, he had a strong Pokemon protecting him, so he wasn't afraid!

"Sparky use thunderbolt!"

The Pikachu winced as the stars stung his skin, growling lowly. However the command caused his cheeks to spark once more, and a powerful electric attack was hurled at the Glaceon.

Seth actually wasn't where they had all left him. He told them he'd be watching them all, and he made good on his word. The tall elite was actually on a sturdy branch in a high tree. It was a good vantage point to see a majority of the route, and he held a pair of powerful binoculars in one hand. However, he was expecting her to come back.

When she started speaking, the elite looked down at her from his perch.

He snorted in disgust at her request. "You want another chance? I don't think so, grunt. You should have thought about that before taking on an obvious bird nerd. We have a schedule to keep and I'm not going to sit around and wait for you to get something better because of your own incompetence. Sit there and wait for the others."

Owch. Frost grimaced internally again as the powerful electric attack slammed home. This was not going quite according to plan, but Skiron wasn't down yet, and even if he did lose the battle... Well, he had a dirty trick left up his sleeve, or more to the point in his small concealed holster... Humm, what were local regulations on shooting civilians? He hadn't had time to find that out yet, but it was probably best to err on the side of caution if at all possible. There was of course also the option of sending Skiron to attack the trainer instead, but again he preferred to hold of there for now in case the pikachu went for him; he didn't want to end his day electrocuted if he could possibly avoid it.

"Glaceon, Ice Beam!" Not a guaranteed hit thanks to all those illusions racing around but it was still a pretty accurate move, and if it did manage to hit there was the chance of freezing the pikachu solid to consider. He could really use a stroke of luck like that; coming out of his first mission in the Kodo region by the skin of his teeth when his mark was no more than a child would be extremely humiliating.

Skiron growled acknowledgement of the new order and spat a stream of ice at what he thought was the real pikachu. He wished he could tell for sure.

The Biker flailed and stumbled around unable to see and groping at air, trying to grab and pull off the Shuppet to no avail. However, with the unsteady movements of the Biker, the Shuppet's aim was not true and the Shadow Ball missed its target after it was fired.

The Charmeleon still had to duck though, but his focus quickly went back to Faleen. It lashed its tail before leaping at her with maw wide and flames dancing between its teeth. A Fire Fang attack.

The Flareon wasn't faring quite as well as the Charmeleon though, the Dark Pulse struck and the fire type was near fainting. It then gave one more attack, spiting up a glob of purple goo at the Umbreon in a Toxic attack.

Aila smiled warmly at the little pokemon. It seemed harmless enough, but she thought it best to avoid appearing hostile or otherwise villainous.

"Return," she said, holding up the ball and drawing the Aron back inside. Best to check the other one as well, she decided. With a nod to Fleur and Misdreavus to ascertain that they were still ready for whatever may come, she pressed the release.
