Ikari nodded and noticed Cole stand up and hold out his hand. she took it and stood up. "I know you can do it." she said. "but... won't Hades try to stop you...?" she said nervously. "Hades will try to stop him... I don't want Cole to die..." she thought.

Ikari bowed her head. "I see... I understand..." she said trying not to have sadness in her tone. she really didn't want Cole to die, but if it was the only way for him to get his revenge, then she'll have to deal with it.

"I'll try my best not too..." Cole could tell Ikari was getting sad by the thought of him dying.

Ikari turned her eyes back to Cole's. she saw revenge, but also sadness in his eyes. she went up to him and hugged him knowing that she probably shouldn't have done it. "I'm worried about you..." she said with sadness in her tone.

Cole was surprised by the hug and just stood there. "Why?" Cole said softly, "why do you even care? No one ever has, and now suddenly you do."

"because..." Ikari said. "when I first saw you... you had determination... but also loneliness...." she started the feel the heat burn her cheeks as she talked. "I guess what I'm trying to say... I care about you..." she felt her tears coming back and dripping down her face.

"Revenge is good motivation.." Cole noticed she was crying, " stop crying, it doesn't suit you. Loneliness is apart of life, and I'm alone to keep others safe. In the end everyone will get hurt, life is pain."

"Revenge destroys the best of people, or so Irok says." said Kiraku as he stood up and turned to Cole, eyes stern. "That's the reason there are four split personalities within this body, he sealed all of his emotions into four different people, at the price of not being attached to people to an extent where it would hurt to see them die, and at the price of where he feels nothing but what I feel compared to the other two."
Kiraku then looked around smirking before he walked over to the food table, grabbed an apple, and tossed it into the fire.

Ikari nodded and wiped her tears. "I know..." she started to talk. "but people can heal that pain... it may take awhile... but it heals it..." she could feel her heart ache for him but he probably had more things in mind then what she felt about him.

Ikari nodded her head. "ok...." she said. "I'll try not to worry...." she hugged Cole one last time, then walked back to Willow to watch her. she sat down and layed Willow's head on her lap, petting her hair.

"If that was the truth emotionally, then Irok wouldn't have made me and the other two to hold his emotions." said Kiraku as he looked at the fire before he felt Nuru's form moving up to him.
I'll take over for now. said Nuru as he looked at Kiraku from an ethereal form. You're the one who should be resting.
"Fine." sighed Kiraku before he closed his eyes and felt himself retreating from the outer shell. "Nuru's taking over, but at least try to learn from my advice."
"As was said." came Nuru, the bodies entire expression changed to a calm state. "Besides, if Eroka came out, he would be encouraging you to give in to anger and vengeance, pretending to be one of us since Kiraku gave you the warning."

"Nuru...." Cole whispered, "I've been fighting the urge to take my anger out on people since I was old enough to know what rage was, I can handle enticing words from others." Cole mind wandered back to Ikari, why did she care for him? what was her angle? was it for real or a facade? he couldn't tell. "Curse my trust issues," Cole thought to himself. Cole sat down on the ground, crossed his legs and held his head up with his hand while his elbow were in his knees. "No chaos, nor order, only tranquility." Cole repeated this in his head as he stared at the fire.

Ikari felt her heart crumbling as she watched and listened to Nuru and Cole's conversation. "if only he knew..." she thought. the words she thought kept replaying in her mind. she wished they would stop, but they couldn't. she gripped a part of her clothing try to hold back yelling. looking at Willow put her at ease a bit.
