{Lol}
"Now that you mention it...it would give me a good chance to do what I need to do outside of Ardalone..." Mala mumbled to herself, thinking of the quest she wished to undergo for immortality. "I'd like that." she then said in a normal, audible tone after a moment, grinning broadly.

"Great! It'll be just like old times!" Riley said jumping up from his chair happily.
"Need to pack or anything, or do you really want to make it look like a kidnapping?" Van joked with a smile.
((Leaving in a bit. Probably will be on later.))

{Alright. See you when you get back.}
"Well, I do need a couple notes and a change of clothes. That'd probably be it." Mala said, clearly looking excited for the adventure she'd be able to go on now. "I'll make sure to bring my bottomless alternate-reality pack, that way more can be carried without all of the effort~" she said in a sing-song voice. She had yet to explain that a bottomless alternate-reality pack was a special backpack for mages, one that had an endless ammount of space to carry what they wished inside. If so desired, they could even carry a person inside. It was only recently invented with the latest magic, and was mostly only owned by the rich.

((In short: mallet space. XD ))
Van and Riley just looked at each other, confused about what the hell she was talking about, and just shrugged while they waited for her to get ready. "So, think she knows yet?" Riley asked Van while Mala was gone.
"I don't know, and I'm not sure if had enough power to make it up to Atius and the others, much less make it back, to ask for details." Van said with a sigh. About a month ago he'd started to feel like his god powers were ever so slowly draining away and he had no idea why. Needless to say, Van was a little concerned. Some priests had started preaching the phenomena as the fall of gods, but the boys weren't sure how far word had spread.

{Indeed. biggrin }
Mala returned after about ten minutes, holding a small yet fancy-looking velvet pouch with golden embroidery. "I've got everything I need~ From five spare outfits, every note I've collected thus far, and every bit of gold I've got is all in this little pouch!" she exclaimed, holding up the small pouch rather proudly.

"Look inside for yourself." Mala said, opening up the pouch and holding it to where Van could see inside. "It's bigger on the inside than on the outside. Isn't magic awesome? Only the richest of the rich have them, even here you're lucky to have one!" she bragged.

"No offense sis, but it's starting to sound like all the magic and luxury has gone to your head...." Riley said while Van peered inside the pouch.

Mala pouted. "It hasn't gone to my head, I'm just realizing how better off I am with it than without. Plus, this little thing here should make many a deed far easier when traveling." she said, still seeming a little offended by Riley's words. "Plus, I had to do alot of hard work and flattery to get this."

"Fine, fine...I'm sorry if I thought you were getting, I dunno, a big head or something...Can we go now? I'm feeling really out of place around here..." Riley said shifting awkwardly.

"Oh, fine. Let's go then." Mala said, standing herself up and closing the pouch now. "So, where do you two plan on heading next? Or are we just heading in any direction?" she asked.

"Well..." Riley glanced up at Van. Their original plan was going to head to Mt. Eclipse, a location said to be where the mortal realm and the realm of the gods intersected and they could talk with the gods without moving between realms, but then they got the letter from Mala.
"We were going to do a little sightseeing and check out the ever mythical Mt. Eclipse until we got your letter." Van half lied. "But it can probably wait a bit if you had somewhere in mind."

"Actually..." Mala began, a sort of malicious glint sparkeling in her eyes, "That sounds like the ideal destination." She had yet to tell them of her plans to usurp one of the gods, or at least gain immortality. But why should she tell them? Mala couldn't help but think that they wouldn't take it well.

"I'm not sure I like that look in your eyes..." Van muttered to Mala as they began heading out.

"What look? Is something wrong?" Mala asked Van innocently, not quite understanding what he meant. She didn't quite realise that she had put off such a malicious glint a couple minutes before.
