 Apollo walked in first, grabbing the door to let his protege go in after. They could grab them a bite to eat and talk about his time in the exam. He found a seat and sat down, waiting for someone to come and ask what they wanted. "Well..first off you've gotta at least tell me if you passed or not. Did you rank up at all?"

Sypher followed and settled down as a waiter came to their table. He immediately ordered a dozen dumplings and a bowl of ramen, intending to eat as much as possible "I passed." he said solemnly, not planning to tell his sensei the details of his fights or how he won.

"Well..that was a pretty dry answer, but I'm glad you passed! We were barely even starting on our training when you went off. I guess that shows your just a natural born at this ninja stuff." Apollo was proud of Sypher and thought he showed a lot of promise as a ninja. So young and already a chunin...he'd moved up rather quickly. "I suppose that means you'll be taken from my squad..or maybe even have a squad of your own. Since I am more suited to combat situations than taking care of children." Though Apollo had grown rather attached to his little genin, they had grown on him, that was for sure. "Do you have any plans now?"

Sypher put his head on the table for a moment, thinking it over "Not really. I never thought about what I wanted to be..." he glanced at Apollo nervously for a second then looked away, thinking over the idea he'd had at the exams. How to ask was the issue now "Erm...sensei...How do you become a...an anbu?"

"Well you have time. You can figure it out." Though that didn't really seem like the thing that troubled the young nins mind. As he looked up Apollo looked over with a gentle smile. Guess he could tell Sypher some things. "Sypher...what you know about me..is mostly a ruse. First off my name isn't Ken Hyuuga. It's Apollo. Second off I'm not a chunin, jounin or anything of the sort..I'm an Anbu Class ninja myself." Now Apollo might get in trouble for this but he doubted anyone besides Sypher would know. Well higher ups would..but still. "Becoming an Anbu is rather difficult. You have to go through quite a bit in order to advance. We're usually picked for having the ability of coldness...little to no attachments to anything but our villages. But those with strong personalities, those are the few who ascend above Anbu class." Apollo stated all of this before fod was brought to the table. "If you want to become an Anbu..I can train you.."

Sypher rolled his eyes slightly "I knew your name couldn't be Ken...that's a stupid name." he said softly before perking up at the mention of how to become an Anbu "Love for the village..." he tapped his chin as he sat up to grab a dumpling but promptly dropped it at Apollo's last words "You would? Not joking or messing with my head...you'd teach me?" he asked, completely forgetting about the food for a change.

"Sure I will. I don't see anything happening to the village so my free time has been rather ridiculous. Plus..." His eyes seems to go dull for a moment. "It'll make make up for some of the horrible things I've done in the past." Apollo was a high ranking nin and usually you had to complete a lot to get to where he was. Death...that was something Apollo often experienced. "So yes, I'd have no issue with teaching you to be a Anbu. It won't be a walk in the park however and the training may be a bit much."

Sypher didn't say anything for a moment as he started to eat, thinking over what Apollo had said. He didn't really care about pasts or making up for wrongs. But training to do something "Thank you. I would like to be taught by you, Sensei." he was, finally, starting to put some trust in his sensei.

"Then it's agreed. After we're done eating I'll need to figure out where you are, so a light spar between us will be in order. Take it easy on me?" Apollo was looking forward to training with Sypher. It'd be one of the few things that he'd done right in his life. "So..lets chow then head over to a training field."

"Mmm." Sypher muttered around a mouthful of food as he chowed down on dumplings and ramen. He ate slowly despite the large amounts, taking time to think over what was going on. He wasn't sure how hard the training would be but he had a feeling that no matter what, he'd finish it I need to do something. And this is it...

With that silence engulfed the conversation the the two of them began to chow down. A good meal, then off to do some training. Day seemed to be going pretty well.

Sypher swallowed his last bite with some water and glanced at Apollo before speaking "Where are we going to train, Sensei? And what are will I be learning exactly?"

Apollo finished his meal before looking over to Sypher. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves. First things that need to be done is a re-evaluation of your skills, Then we can get down to training. So if your ready to go we can have our little spar."

Sypher lept up immediately, his remaining food abandoned "I'm done. Where are we going?" he grinned at Apollo, eager to try out some new techniques he'd learned among other things. "I want to spar with you as well. Then I can judge how far I need to improve."

"Actually, you pick the battlefield. You'd work better under conditions of your favor. Doesn't mean I'll take it any easier on you." So with all that settled Apollo paid the bill and began to leave with his new protege in tow. Time to get through some training.
