Sypher released her chin and put his hands in his lap, smiling slightly at her "I did. I lost my way for a while. Couldn't seem to figure what I needed or wanted. But I'm back now." he rubbed his eyes, seeming to be tired but his eyes were alert and strong. "I always worry about you. You're very important, Septima." he told her sternly. Then he stretched back and took a deep breath "What's happened here? I met with the new kage...what happened to our kage?"

 ~ Suzume Kinjo ~ Kumogakure ~ Genin ~ Bukijutsu ~ Normally she might not come to the hot springs since there were usually people around. Sure, some people liked to talk when they were bathing but Suzume was more private. Plus she always liked showers, they were quicker and just as relaxing, right? Not to mention one did not get all pruned up.
Sighing, she checked in with the front and got a basket. Honestly, coed baths? That did not really seem appropriate to her at all. She set all of her things into the basket and then put them away. All except her father's sword of course. Suzume did not like to be separated from the weapon, it held plenty of sentimental value.
After getting ready to get into the bath, she had a towel wrapped securely around her body, hiding everything, she headed to the hot springs. There were already at least two people there from what she could see. Man and woman... close... frowning all the more, she moved over to the bath and set her katana down in a dry area. Then she slipped into the bath right, right next to her katana. She seemed rather uncomfortable but she focused on relaxing her body.

Sypher glanced around as someone else entered the bathes, watching the girl carefully New face. Then again everyone's a new face for me. he thought and tapped his foot against the back of the wall he sat on with Septima. Unlike this new girl, he was fully clothed in a loose blue shirt and dark blue pants and belt. A bird tattoo swirled around his neck and up behind his ear, something he'd gotten for himself when he became the bird sage. He rubbed it now as he watched the girl "Hey there." he called out, remaining where he was. He wasn't going to move away from Septima, no matter who this new face was.

~ Suzume Kinjo ~ Kumogakure ~ Genin ~ Bukijutsu ~ Geez, why was this guy even here if he had his clothes on? Was he one of those guys that peeped in on girls? Well if he was then Suzume was sure she could kick his a**. She did not really get a good look at him when she came in. Yet hearing the male' voice call out to her, she looked back over to him. He looked to be about her age, obviously apart of the village, yet what caught her interest was the tattoo. "Hi... you summon birds?" This was of particular interest to her since those were the animals she wished to summon.

Sypher smiled then nodded "Yup. Have been for about a year and a half now." he replied, settling himself a little easier next to Septima. He had little interest in telling this girl that he was the sage until he knew where her interest lay "Why do you ask?"

~ Suzume Kinjo ~ Kumogakure ~ Genin ~ Bukijutsu ~ The other was not telling her much but Suzume supposed she could understand that. Unless she was comfortable and new the person was not bad, then she would speak more on a subject. Since she could not sense any malicious intent from the male, she decided to answer why she had asked such a question. "I've already chosen birds as what I wish to summon. It's only natural I have an interest in others who would also have birds as what they summon. Was it difficult to make a pact?" If she wanted to be successful in making a pact then she would need plenty of first hand knowledge and experience.

Sypher tilted his head slightly at the girl and shrugged Difficult is one thing...But I didn't have to make a pact. he leaned forward and stretched before commenting "Making a pact is pretty simple once you prove that your worthy of being a bird summoner. You just have to get the sage to approve of you and then get the birds to like you. Which is NOT easy." he chuckled "I'm Sypher."

~ Suzume Kinjo ~ Kumogakure ~ Genin ~ Bukijutsu ~ The red head had heard little of what it took to make a pact. Although from what Sypher said it made sense that she needed approval from the birds and the sage. Right now Suzume did not really know who the sage was but she was sure there was a record somewhere. "I'm Suzume. Do you know who the Bird Sage is?" This guy was bound to know since someone had to approve him.
She spared a glance to the other girl sitting next to Sypher. She really had not said anything at this point. Not meaning that Suzume was going to start a conversation with her. If the other didn't feel like talking then why initiate a conversation?

Noticing Suzume's look at Septima, Sypher took Septima's hand in his own and gently examined her fingers. It was a slightly possessive move but he didn't care "...Possibly. Are you one of those people who try to kill the sages to take over their positions? Or do you just want to learn?" he asked, watching Suzume seriously. He'd heard rumors about what happened to Sages who weren't prepared for enemies. It wasn't pretty and he had no intention of joining those dead sages of old.

 ~ Suzume Kinjo ~ Kumogakure ~ Genin ~ Bukijutsu ~ Intent... serious, defensive... without reading his intent it was easy to guess that the other knew who the sage was. He must have been close to the sage or something else to make him act this way. "I only wish to learn. I have no interest in becoming a sage." If the other was claiming to be the best swordsman in this country then that might be a different story. She wouldn't kill him but he would certainly be a rival Suzume would defeat in the future.

Sypher kept at his holding of Septima's hand, enjoying how soft and smooth and cold her fingers were. He took a deep breath and then smiled "Well, all right. I'm the Sage, actually. I'd be happy to teach you how to summon..." he said carefully, recognizing that this girl wasn't one to back down or back off of something.

~ Suzume Kinjo ~ Kumogakure ~ Genin ~ Bukijutsu ~ The male had not let go of the other girl's hand. Either they were together or Sypher was protective or perhaps possessive of the girl. It was surprising to hear that this guy was a sage, he seemed a bit young for the part. Yet the other did not seem to be joking though so Suzume had to assume he was serious. "Fine. When can we start?" Well they wouldn't start now, she was a bit under dressed. But since she currently did not have any missions, she would take the opportunity to train in whatever she could.

"When you're not wearing only a towel." Sypher responded and leaned back slightly "How bout we meet tomorrow the ruins? Open areas are best for the birds." he said and yawned, feeling slightly sleepy "And I need to meet this new kage we have..."

~ Suzume Kinjo ~ Kumogakure ~ Genin ~ Bukijutsu ~ Frowning slightly at the other's first suggestion, Suzume found the next one to be more acceptable. "That's fine with me. And the Raikage is at the dojo training right now, she's a little busy at the moment but you can try speaking with her in a bit." Suzume had no idea if the whole ordeal with Kein murdering another shinobi in a dojo. Probably since it was a big deal and the Raikage would have to think up a fitting punishment.

Sypher nodded and smiled "Its amazing how all the kages end up busy at the dojo. I'm glad I never go there for training. Its dangerous sometimes." he said chattily, clearly not worried about tracking down the kage.
