Felix

Felix squinted his eyes, watching the dog Pokemon closely.
A deep purr resonated from his chest.
"It's not living with you that's the problem. It's the fact that you're too self-centered to respect my boundaries."
Felix was very protective of his riches.
He didn't like it when anybody touched them, much less get a speck of paint on them.
There was only one other Pokemon allowed to touch them, and that was Claire.

"I'm the self-centered one?.. Our guild is in a time of rebuilding and funds are desperately needed which you can easily pitch in to provide, but I guess since you weren't around for the disaster that caused all of this, sparing a penny towards a memorial for all the lives that were lost hasn't even crossed your mind."
A snarl of pure animal instinct both began and ended his words as with one sweep of a paw he shot the coin, which had little meaning to himself, into the nearby embers of the fireplace.

Felix

"NYAH!" Felix cried out as the precious coin was tossed into the fire.
He dove his paw in, yelping a little as the fire singed him.
However, he did manage to bat the coin out.
"There are only three of those in existence, you dolt!" He hissed loudly, curling his burnt paw up.
"I'm doing what I can, but not at the expense of my own livelihood! At least I'm not prancing about wasting my money on outlandishly gaudy fur dye!"

Rave couldn't help but give a chuckle of amusement at the response he elicited through his actions before returning to an abnormally serious disposition.
"Don't even play that s**t with me. If it would have helped at the time in any way I would have given my life for this guild without second thought, and since that opportunity has long passed maybe I need that optimistic jolt every once in awhile of seeing bright colors in the mirror to keep me doing the best I can and not offing myself for having to be stuck with you."
Feeling as if Felix was hardly worth any more breath than what he forced himself to just rant out, without a moment to spare after he was finished the canine about faced and walked out from the thankfully not crowded room. The slightest hint of tears forming in the corners of his eyes.

Alice

Alice sat on a couch in the lounge with her familiar blue egg beside her. Lately, the Kirlia had been straying from her team though as to why, no one exactly bothered asking. It was safe to assume it was just the stress of the situation at hand. It was bugging all of them. Still, she sat relatively joyous; having a smile on and idly humming as she glanced over at her egg.
Come to think of it, how long had it been an egg for anyway? She was curious to see what it was and it was probably a water type. Eggs were rather corresponding that way. Her expression went blank for a moment, wondering if she could actually see what was inside the egg. Anues could do that, and he was channeling her, so she should be able to as well, right? Alice was still. She came silent, debating the idea to herself silently before shaking it away. No. Maybe that was a bad idea. What if it wasn't developed yet? Alice frowned. That'd be horrifying.

She quickly looked away from her egg before any other ideas popped into her head. She should just wait it out and let it hatch on its own. Then she'd see what it is. With a soft breath, Alice looked toward the ground, her arms reaching off to the side to pull the egg onto her lap. Was bringing a child into this really a good idea? Would she be able to care for it?

Era & Phione

Era meandered about the Guild Exchange amiably, her mood rather cheerful and a contented smile on her face. Holding onto her paw was Phione, the ever-happy Water Type bouncing up and down as he looked this way and that at all the interesting things inside the Guild Exchange. He was fascinated by all the strange and professional looking things that were here and there, and peppered Era with questions, all the while drinking in the answers. The winged Pikachu answered them all without any protest, fondly indulging his curiousity. To anyone who had met the pair before, it was no mystery that Era loved Phione like a child and he loved her like a mother, and it was definitely evident at times like these. The Electric Type led her young charge into the Lounge, Phione swinging her arm that held his back and forth in a childish manner.

As they wandered into the large room, it didn't take long for the pair to spot their companion, nor for the scene that was about to take place to occur. "Aliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!" Phione's bright voice came and he released Era's hand in favor of bolting for the Kirlia and clinging to her in a hug. "How you? How you?" The question was accompanied by a quick smile as Phione let go of Alice and spun around with delight, clapping his hands with pleasure.

Era's smile broadened at the sight of her Kirlia friend, pleased at the pleasant surprise. She came up behind Phione, although it was far more slowly, and she smiled at Alice. "Well this is a pleasant surprise," she said, "What brings you here?" That was when she spotted the egg and her eyes widened with slight surprise as she looked at it. She didn't suspect it was Alice's own of course, but it was an interesting little treasure for her to be carrying around, that was certain. Phione also seemed to spot it at the same time and it seemed to have a strange effect on the little Water Type. He fell silent and stared at it with an odd interest that didn't fade after a few moments as it normally would. Era blinked with surprise as she noticed but said nothing. It was almost as though Phione knew something that she didn't.

Alice

Alice jumped at the sound of her name, not responding to the two's entrance prior due to being lost in thought. Her attention reeled toward Phione and smiled as she quickly moved the egg beside her then hugged the little water type back. "Hi Phione! It's nice seeing you again. I'm doing fine." He looked great. Phione was always so energetic. She couldn't help but wonder how Era kept up with him and, speaking of, Alice looked up at the sound of her friend's voice. She nodded slightly before scooting over to allow Era to sit down. "It is. It's quiet though so I thought I'd stay here for a little while. How are you doing lately?" She tried keeping the question more social and less in reference to how her team was handling, well, everything.
She gave a quick blink as Era's attention motioned toward the egg as she spoke, turning her own attention toward it for a moment before looking back at the Electric type. "Oh, Ver found it a while ago and left it in the team room so I decided to take care of it." Alice smiled, catching Phone still focusing on the egg out of the corner of her eye. She promptly leaned forward to pick up the small Water type and perched him on the couch beside the egg before turning her attention back toward Era.

Era & Phione

Era smiled back at the Kirlia, sitting down beside her when Alice moved over. "Very well thanks," she returned to her friend's inquiry, "It's good to make the best of the good times while we can, right?" It was their job to take the moments of life that were important into their own paws and to make certain that they lasted throughout the times that things were difficult. Here and now Era was content to be as she was; safe and among friends. So long as she could protect those she loved most she would be content to let things move along as they would.

The smile on the Pikachu's face widened at the news of the egg, her eyes brightening cheerfully at the prospect of a new life. It was promising and hopeful, something that everyone needed when things were so dark as they were now. "That's wonderful," Era said warmly, looking over at the lovely blue colored egg that rested beside Alice, "I'm sure you'll take excellent care of it." It seemed somewhat suiting actually, that Alice would take an egg into her care. She got along with children quite well, the way Phione doted on her being a good example, so raising one would be a good experience for her. Era felt a pang in her heart as she thought of Faran and Rivia, the other two children in her care. The former really deserved more freedom than he got, but because of the way things were it couldn't be given to him. Growing up was supposed to be eased into but all too often it was forced upon the children who grew up in the Guilds. Pushing away the troubling thoughts, Era smiled again at her friend, "I'm sure you'll raise it well when it hatches."

When he was lifted up to the couch beside the egg, Phione smiled in thanks to Alice for only a moment before returning his gaze to the egg. Something about it enraptured the little Water Type, and he circled it, looking at the blue egg from all sides as though trying to see what was inside it. After a while of this, Phione appeared to grow tired and teetered back and forth while he recovered from the dizziness. With a happy sigh, Phione wrapped his little arms around the egg, despite their not nearly being long enough to wrap around entirely. He clung to it and rested his head against it with a contented smile. "Phione hears you..." he murmured softly to the egg seeming to be quite fixated on what was inside of it somehow, "Come out come out!"

Alice

Alice listened intently, her attention locked on the Pikachu as she spoke. Her blank expression quickly turned to a smile and her face gained a red tint as her attention promptly drifted elsewhere in embarrassment of sorts. It was nice hearing that though. It was a different compliment from what Alice was normally used to. With her size and way of commonly acting, she was really only used to getting cute, childish compliments. "Thanks, Era. I hope so too." Children were odd though. They could be very clingy, or be very independent. She wasn't sure which she preferred.

After a moment, Alice's attention fell back on Era and she gave a quick, reassuring smile before looking back at Phione at her other side. He really seemed to connect with the egg. It was strange. "I don't know if it's ready to hatch yet, Phione." Alice frowned slightly. The egg never really moved, it wasn't all that warm either. It was a cute image, but Alice didn't want the little water type to be disappointed either. her attention dropped down to the egg again, if only for a few seconds before it jerked off to the side and, of course, Alice's first course of action was to yelp and cling to the Pikachu beside her. The egg was still again for another few seconds before moving again, leaving Alice in panic. Eggs hatching always freaked the Kirlia out. When Anues was born, she thought the egg broke and he died. She understood it now of course but it still made her uncomfortable.
Alice released Era, tension leaving as she settled and stared down at the egg again as it finally cracked as if responding to the little water type. Soon, a small fin broke through the top. An all too familiar fin that left Alice staring, dumbfounded. Was that really...
With the top cracked, the newborn found the willpower to promptly headbutt the top off, revealing a small Phione with an eggshell atop it's head.

It stared at Alice with a blank expression for a few seconds, then Era. It gave an over exaggerated frown then accompanied by a whine as it's attention drifted off elsewhere around the room until finally twisting about enough to face the other Phione. That spontaneous sadness left immediately in favor of giving Phione the same blank stare as the others before smiling brightly.
Alice eyed the both of them, one then the other repetitively. "There's... there's two of them." Who would have guessed? "Where did Ver find this egg...?" Phione were hardly common, but luck was luck after all.

Era & Phione

Era smiled at Alice's embarrassment. The Kirlia was very modest really, it was sweet. She knew that her friend would be alright, whether by instinct or something else she could just feel it. Responsibility brought about changes in people that could be for the better, and it was always life changing to have another life depend so fully on you. Frightening at first, but it ended up making a huge impression on your heart that wouldn't ever go away. The Pikachu's eyes trailed over to Phione as he hugged the egg, whispering gently to it, and she felt the urge to hug the little blue Pokemon. He was so sweet, and so important to her. If something happened to Phione, she didn't know what she would do; he meant the world to her.

Era blinked in slight surprise at Alice's words, and at Phione's reaction. The little Pokemon, usually so amiable to Alice's words shook his head vigorously, clinging more tightly to the egg although he verbally said nothing. It wasn't like him to be so stubborn, but then the way he was reacting to the egg wasn't very much like him either. "Phione..." she began, but was instantly hushed as, without warning, the Blue Egg jerked slightly and it was all the Pikachu could do to avoid jumping to her feet. Her Kirlia friend, in the end, was what kept her from doing that by clinging to her with a shout of surprise. Era looked at Alice with surprise but shortly after, patted her reassuringly on the shoulder to assure her it was alright. A smile broke across Phione's face as they watched, and the little Pokemon let go of the egg, backing just a slight bit away from it to allow it to hatch. It was odd, Phione had never seen an egg hatch that Era knew of, yet he still seemed to know exactly what to do.

When the crack split the egg down the center, Era's eyes widened with surprise and delight; it was hatching! The Pikachu felt honored by the fortunate coincidence that had smiled upon them to be there for the baby's first moments. When the fin shot out of the top of the egg however, Era froze, eyes widening. How? She would never be able to mistake that fin as long as she lived, it was the same as the fins of a certain Pokemon who was watching with enraptured delight as this egg hatched. Phione weren't common Pokemon, they were almost as rare as Legendaries were; how then did Alice end up with an egg that held one? All the same, even with all the questions many answers came up as well. It explained why Phione had felt such an attraction to the egg, and why he had seemed to know things about it that they didn't. When the shell at last broke and the newborn Phione looked out at them Era smiled happily, her heart going out to the child as it had to Phione when he'd first arrived. Its blank stare was a little strange, and Era frowned as it began to whine but that was soon remedied.

Phione watched the whole hatching with delight and excitement, his fins clasping together in delight as he saw the fin push through the eggshell. He was silent, a smile on his face and his eyes shining with joy. The sight of another of his kind seemed to instill a happiness in him beyond measure, although he waited patiently as the other Water Type looked over at Alice and Era. When it began to whine, Phione frowned in worry, his eyes widening and he reached for the other Phione only to have it turn around to face him. Phione blinked in surprise and then smiled brightly, a gesture that was returned by the younger Phione in a moment. "Phione!" he said happily, "Hi hi! I Phione! You Phione too!" His smile widened into one so impossibly happy that it couldn't be matched, and he came closer to the newborn. "Phione, Phione," he said in a sing-song voice, softly but cheerfully, as he hugged the smaller Phione close.

Era watched this with a tender gaze, happy that Phione was so happy. It took her a moment to respond to Alice's query because of it, but she did after a moment. "Who knows?" she replied quietly, a small smile on her face, "But I'm glad he did." The Pikachu was content watching the two Phione, so happy did they seem. It warmed her heart to see how sweet they were.

Hestia + Heimdall

A Smoochum wearing a Nun's habit silently walked into the lounge, a Togepi in a priest outfit close behind her.
Her green eyes looked through the lounge and smiled at the peace she had found here, it was nice after a day of proselytizing to unwind a bit.

Heimdall smiled as Hestia daintily sat on a couch staring outside.
It was days like this he was glad he could be in this guild.

"Peaceful days hmm my dear Hestia?" He asked the Smoochum who nodded in reply, "Very much so Heimdall..."
