As she finished, Athrun didn't even take a second to think about what she had just asked him. "I will simply protect her and ensure her safety Alice. I do not wish harm upon her, nor shall I let it. You also have a say in this Alice. I wouldn't want to do anything against your wishes as well. If you wish for me to 'wake' her as you say, then I will do it. If you don't want me to, then I shall simply protect her...wether it is by her side, or from afar. Regardless, as long as Bunny remains part of this city, I will always be able to protect her. ⊱

「Alice smiled as she listened to him, before cupping the side of his face with her hand, "How very chivalry of you. I can see why she likes you," she said, "I simply want Bunny to remain happy. If you think you can protect her, than I will hold you to that," she said, running her thumb on his bottom lips softly. Her eyes began to glow with sadism, "However, if you hurt her, I will end you," she said coldly before she leaned down and whispered against his lips, "Fyi... beside's Shiny, who is only special to her because he is shiny, and holds her interest for that fact alone; you are the first male she has taken a liking to," Alice said, kissing him lightly, before she sat up and blinked, the Bunny persona coming back. Alice looked at him worriedly, "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to stare off into space like that! It wasn't a bad kiss," she said, panic rising in her voice, before her face was aflame again, "But that... was... unexpected..."」 ≎≎≎  ≎≎≎  ≎≎≎

Kissing her lightly, Athrun was about to reply when Bunny suddenly appeared once more. From the looks of it, she is not aware of Alice...and though he could tell her, he chose not to. "It's okay, don't worry about it. I meant to apologize to you. I am sorry, I don't know what came over me Bunny. Please don't be upset with me," Athrun apologized once more, the first time Alice was the one that heard it. This time the apology was to Bunny. ⊱

「Alice blinked before shaking her head, her face still red, "Nonononono! Mocha is okay. I could never be mad at Mocha," she paused, "Unless he liked to rip the heads off of teddy bears." She peered at him suspiciously, before shaking her head and smiling, "Mocha can kiss me whenever he wants! "No, I could never rip the heads off teddy bears," Athrun pointed out as he took hold of her hands and held them in his gently. "I'm glad you feel that way. I was kinda afraid of what your reaction was. Bunny can kiss Ath...Mocha whenever she likes too," he said...stopping himself as he called himself Mocha. Granted, he had no idea how he earned the name Mocha but it seems to have stuck in her mind. Athrun had now leaned back on his bed, resting his head against the pillow as he suddenly felt rather tired after the whole ordeal. His body was still trying to recuperate, his hands still holding unto Bunny's. ⊱

As she did so, Athrun leaned down and gave her a kiss on the forehead before closing his eyes. "Thank you for protecting me Nurse Bunny," he said before the darkness overtook him. Drifting off into a deep sleep, Athrun relaxed his body and let the medicine do its work.
Wake up Athrun Zala Shimizu!" called a voice to him. As Athrun opened his eyes, he suddenly found himself standing in complete darkness. As he attempted to look past it, Athrun's entire body erupted into flames, lighting the entire room and sending the darkness back into the very depths of the light. Once the darkness dissapeared, Athrun realized he was standing in front of the same pink haired girl of his dreams. "YOU!" he exclaimed as he pointed at her in awe. "Yes Athrun...me," she responded. This was the same girl that had given her Destiny and Freedom, the two powerful blades Athrun now wielded. "Athrun, I am here once more to guide you, to ensure that your destiny is fulfilled. As you may now notice, your body is going through many changes, am I right?" she asked him as she pointed at his body, which was still ablaze. "Like what? This is natural...isn't it? I mean Fire is my element," Athrun explained to her. "You haven't noticed that even enemy fire attacks hardly faze you? That your body is more durable than most which means it takes a lot longer to heal? Athrun...you must know the truth. You...are a Phoenix the embodiment of Rebirth. With this knowledge, you must let the fires of light stay ablaze in your soul. Do not succumb to the darkness, do not let your fire die," she told him. Just as Athrun raised his hand to stop her, she was gone, and Athrun was left back to dwell in his own dream world.
The next day....
Athrun awoke groggily as the light shone down in the hospital room. He had been sleeping through most of the day and as he rose his head slightly, a nurse walked into the room. The nurse had told him that there was no longer anything that they could do for him, that his body would end up healing on its own naturally and as long as he took it easy, he was free to go. Being released finally, Athrun couldn't help but be happy to get out of the hospital and report to the King. No doubt the King would have known by now his condition, but still, he wanted to see him and report himself. Athrun then proceeded to give Bunny a kiss on the forehead and remained there till she herself woke up as well.

Meanwhile, his mind was filled with even more questions. He was...a Phoenix? He knew he was adopted, and he loved his adopted parents very much, but he knew nothing of his birth parents. Not only that, the strange woman that keeps appearing his visions, everytime she does so, she reveals a little more about himself. How is it that she knows more about him than he does? All these questions plagued his mind and he was now loss in thought as he lied there in bed.

"Other than that, I slept like a baby. Probably because I knew Nurse Bunny was here to protect me," he added as he looked down upon her. "The nurse said that I was being given my discharge...I'm free to go whenever I'm ready," Athrun told her with a smile. He was definitley happy to get out, regardless of the fact that his shoulder was still on a sling. ⊱

"Oh I gotta get all my gear," he said, remembering that he's simply wearing hospital robes. He didn't know where his clothes and weapons were. ⊱

As he felt her clothes press against him, Athrun grabbed her hands and pushed them back in order to give her clothes back. "Bunny no..." he exclaimed as his face was more red than ever before. "Not your clothes...uh...your clothes won't fit me. i need my own clothes Bunny,'" he quickly told her, averting his gaze as he maintained his eyes slammed shut. ⊱
