Ah no worries Nerevar, I plan on making a sticky announcing the how to paly and tryouts for positions. You see, once more people join, ill post when tryouts are, and I'll appoints captains and everything. That will be a sticky. But the how to i am going to keep in the field as well, just since i wanted something of that nature in the quidditch forum, since later on, much later, i may delete the tryouts for quidditch, as they end. therefore, i want to have something of that nature in that forum smile

Ive got a bit of a problem with the way Quidditch is played. When the two teams are playing against each other, whats stopping the players from doing their preformance flawlessly? Like the Seeker catching the snitch automatically? Or the Keeper saving every goal? In another guild, when a person is getting ready to score, save a goal, catch the snitch, throw to another player, or beat them with the bludge, they use the random number function in the post action. You as the Headmaster can set the number from XX to XX and have numbers XX-XX be unsucessful numbers and then numbers XX-XX numbers be sucessful numbers. I am so sorry this is so long sweatdrop

It's alsright, but no worries, You see, people shall be posting, the members flying, so quickly, just saying things like OOPS i dropped theball! or something like that, im going to require each person playing to do something negative, and to do something positive with a 50-50, for everything they do wrong, they can do soemthing right. And they also have to announce it when they are flying towards the other end of the field, etc etc. I will speak to the two seekers in private, and say after 10min of psoting, or after 3 min of posting, post I GOT IT, and whoever psots first, they get the 150 points. It's very difficult to explain, but i hope this helped you udnerstand.

Looking at Azula's post above, would that be a good idea for classes as well? It seems everyone is nearly flawless in classes, and as I recall, even Hermione had problems with some spells. What's the fun if there's no challenge?

Yes I was hoping people would know not to act completely perfect in classes...some people mess up spells, which is natural, but some consider themselves perfect. I completely agree with you liviana, thanks for mentioning it, and I shall be brining it up now in classes. Il peer my head in once in a while and tell someone to please not consider themselves perfect and such, you make such a good point

But I still think the way your going to go with this had flaws... Theres is nothing that is stopping the people from actually cheating in the game. I mean so what your going to give them 10 minutes to catch the snitch, what if one's hand is slower then the others? That a very unfair advantage.
And to the class stuff, we arent even at the tough stuff yet.

Well if one's hand is slower than the others, isn't that what wins them the game? A faster hand? Plus if they post before, i shall delete it and post keep going, snitch is still in play. In all honesty, i think its one of the fairest ways to play online, people simply posting back and forth, one post every move, and one good then one bad, or 2 bads then 2 goods, something like that. Just evenning them out, i just really don't see another way the game could possibly be played online
True, but for first years, this IS the hard stuff. I just don't want people to be considering themselves perfect which is why ive been so careless about it now since classes have just started. but once things really come into order, which they are starting to, i will be a bit more un-perfectionist.

I am outraged! lol There are no Prefects for Hufflepuff, Slytherin, or Ravenclaw. Just Gryffindor. If I didnt know anybetter, Headmaster, I think you might be favoring those lions stare wink
So can we get some Prefects in the other houses?
