Akihiko looked around the cart for someone. Where did he go? "Hey..where is that Raptor kid..? " He asked as it had been awhile since he had heard from him. Not to mention the kid was odd anyways, so Akihiko wanted to keep an eye on him. Salali. made sense, the witch and water horse were probably not who attacked her, meaning her attacker was still about. Could have the same person attacked him? Or maybe the fat witch sliced him up with a cookie cutter.... Ahkihiko grumbled under his breath, what a weak way to go.

(Net went down yesterday.)

Without anyone knowing, Jack honestly winced when his feline friend started tugging at the pumkin on his hand, the feeling of the gourd slipping off his hand before a sickening popping sound cleared the air around them, and the pumpkin was then in Faint's hands. Well, that felt better. Shame it didn't last long, after a moment, the pumpkin returned to the same place it was, albeit, this time it was smaller, and the face was in a pristine location.

Well, now he had fingers, and that was fine for him.

"Thank you, friend." he murmured, through the pumpkin head, a faint smile creasing at his mouth, wiggling his fingers. "This should suffice for now, I'm glad that I can see my fingers."

Hearing the anguished, and yet familiar voice behind him, Jack turned from Faint and Salali for a moment to regard the new injured creature to be dragged through the doors. Ah, the Witch who had assisted him in subduing Betty, the one with the cat. Taking a few moments to regard her, it because apparent that the cat had unfortunately gone missing, leaving her at a standpoint and making her look more miserable than she let on to be. Looking down at his own charge, he gave a little head flick to Zwei, requesting him to take up charge with her for the time being, and was rewarded with a knowing glance, before the Nebelung meandered over to her, to see what he could do.

Turning back to his little group he had his ears caught the soft distress that was starting to show on Salali, her tears running down her face struck a cord with the Nekogami, and fumbling with the pumpkin prison he was incased in, he grabbed a hankerchief and handed it to Faint to assist her, murring softly through the fruit. "It will be okay, dear. I'm sure someone will find them, we'll hear about it I'm sure. For now, you should work on keeping your strength, we're here for you."

Faint didn't hesitate to wobble to his feet and take the handkerchief and approach Salali. Gently he wiped the tears from her eyes and pursed his lips. Poor girl.

Quickly he moved to Belladonna and gave her the same treatment, the best he could do for her situation. His ear twitched as he looked down at her and touched the bruises around his own neck. The injuries and conditions of the others here were so much worse than his own. He felt a little bad about being here when he could be figuring out who the latest attacker was. "Is that better?"

"So, Who could it be? Who remains?"
Balumf didn't want to just sit here, she wanted to think about things.
And what else to think about then who the third 'Fox' was?

"We know it's none of us, and its two of the accused..."
"We know it's not Haku the Dog-boy..."
"Who remains in the cabin?"

"Not other geistie," Puck muttered as Perlie was brought in. That was sort of a relief - poltergeist pride and all - but there had to be more people in this car of the train now than were in the dining car! "The foxie's feastin'. Chomp, chomp." He mimed chomping motions with his hands, making the pumpkins clop together awkwardly.

And he couldn't count properly without all his fingers, blast it! "Wolfie-boy. Yarr-ghostie. T'other skelly... acid-spitter..." His brow furrowed in concentration, though nobody could see it under the pumpkin-head. "T'other other ghostie..."

Balumf pondered...
"Which one was the other bookworm?"
She asked, suddenly.
She still didn't think it was the acid-spitter. Too many people had accused him for no reason at first, and he just didn't seem the type.
But The angry wolf-man...
"There was another skeleton? I hadn't noticed..."
Then she realized that Puck's tone was odd.
"Wait, Did someone get brought in just now?"
She said, concerned. Geist? Ghost?
Oh no, Was it Vic?!

"Geistie," Puck repeated, giving Balumf a weird look, the effect of which was completely nulled by the pumpkin-head. "M'a geistie. Ghosties are diff'rnt."

"You're alright now and we're safe here for now... Don't wear yourself out further," Fauste could only offer Belladonna that much from his seat as he scratched the back of his neck, feeling all awkward again; he never had to show this much concern towards this many strangers - acquaintance, maybe - before. He didn't even know half their names! He then paused, sighing inwardly at the fading sobs of the girls before sitting up straight as the door opened and another victim was brought in.

As the ghost faded in and out of Ghaun's arms when she was carried in, the Necromancer frowned; oh no, not another ghost! He approached the bed containing the latest victim before kneeling down in front of it, the concern in his voice genuine as he frowned, his voice soft, "Hey... You feeling alright?"

He then turned to Balumf, giving him a shrug, "I'm not sure, but I'm guessing there should only be about 10 or less students left in the main cabin... Its only a matter of time before they sniff the third fox out. We can only hope that there won't be anymore casualties in the process..."

Salali sniffled and swallowed back any remaining tears. It was a lot easier after Faint wiped off her face, an embarrassing thing to say the least, and after both he and Jack offered reassurances. That was enough, that was enough...they were right. She was tired, so tired, and getting upset like this was only making it worse. So she took in a few deep breaths, forcing herself to silence until she was confident in speaking again. The nervousness didn't leave her voice, but at least she wasn't crying anymore.

"Thank you," she murmured, one of her rare and strange direct statements. She then shifted her eyes and strained to see who had been brought in. In the end it was too difficult from where she was, so she relied on what the others were saying. In response to who was still in the cabin she murmured, "Only the one last eaten really knows who's left in the burrow. Only she knows the state of the burrow."

A small sliver of laughter escaped her mouth when Puck offered her the pumpkin, largely because he looked like a pumpkin himself! She had been there when that awful, fat witch had spelled the others and magicked the gourds onto their hands and head, but having suffered an attack and seeing them again, it all seemed a bit funny... Funny in a morbid sort of way, but funny nonetheless. When the other incapacitated girl began crying, Belladonna struggled to sit up, or at least move her head in the direction of the sobs.

"Its alright! We're ok, and the others will find the attacker... Your, um, your fox soon! This isn't over yet!" While morale was down, there wasn't any reason it couldn't go back up. While the others in the main cabin had been dangerously close to choosing Belladonna as their next accused, she knew they only did it to save the others. Though, if she really stopped to think about it, she was much happier to have been attacked and here with the other innocents instead of thrown into the accused cabin with two attackers. Why, she would have become an attacker all her own if Betty was there, that traitorous, blubbery, good for nothing little--

"Oh! Hello!" Her boiling anger was completely dissolved with the addition of a spectral cat near her limp right hand. "Aren't you darling?" She asked of the cat, thankful her pillow was fluffy enough to angle her a bit so she could see the cat and some of the surrounding room. Her chin had to be dropped, but it made keeping her heavy head up much easier. Truthfully she was grateful for the addition of a animal to keep her company, though she could barely wiggle her fingers enough to pet it. When Faint moved closer to wipe away her tears, she squeezed her eyes shut to help the gesture and gave him her best smile.

"Much better, thank you. Are you alright?" She inquired, eyeing his bruises in a manner that suggested she was not happy about them being there. "I will try not to cry anymore." She added, mostly for Fauste. "Do you have a name kitty?" Granted, her question could be mistakenly directed toward Faint, but her eyes had been moved to the spectral cat she was now trying her very hardest to pet, though her body remained lifeless from the neck down.

Yet when the heeled attendant returned, Belladonna felt the room grow silent for one brief moment of sacred silence. Then questions started flying and those who could move were looking toward the next victim. Hadn't they figured out the culprit yet? How many more were left? It had to be ten... Or less? They had started out with so many, and now there had to be so few. Trying to keep it from showing, Belladonna heaved a sigh in frustration, angry she could not move, upset that she couldn't jump from this bed and race back over to find the attacker. Dismayed she couldn't do anything but lie there, hurt without pain.

"Wha..?" Perlie felt oddly groggy; one moment she'd been sitting there, listening to the host reaper announce the latest suspect to be moved to one of the other cabins and then... blank. Why was it blank? And why in FEAR's name did her head feel like someone had run a freight train over it?

A soft voice registering over the din of her head, she turned to the person kneeling next to her.. bed? Huh, and a better one than the one she had at home, to boot. Did the main cabin's ceiling always look this clean and polished? "Whuzzat? Oh, I think I'm eurgh okay?" She didn't seem particularly sure of it, though. But someone would tell if it was like, seriously serious, right?

Leaning back into his chair, Jack crossed his legs and set his pumpkin hands in his lap, listening to the light investigation that the injured few who had the energy to speculate along with the conversation. It all seemed peculiar to him, really. He gazed around the room, scanning who had been placed here, just to gauge who would have been remaining, since the somewhat chaotic battle that ended with him in this befuddling cage.

"Well let's see. I do know the skinwalker. . . Nuk . . Nukpana." he stuttered, looking pensive in his case as he recalled the familiar's name. "I can vouch for him, if I knew anything about him in passing, it's that he's passionate, but I'm sure we noticed that. I think the piratess was pretty passionate too, but in her own ways. Not enough to stir up any damage."

"I have half a mind about that fox though. . ." he murmured quietly, at the end. Hearing Belladonna titter happily about his feline companion, he turned his head away from Salali again, grinning a little before introducing her to his companion. "That one is Zwei, his name means Two, I'm sure he'd be willing to keep with you for the time being."

---

Zwei, on the other hand, had been cautiously checking the little witch that he had been entrusted to for the time being, grey-green eyes staring at her as she sobbed a little lightly, and then raged. He could see that there was frustration in this wisp of a girl, and couldn't help but try to dispel it. Hopping up in to the bed she had found herself in, he curled up next to her hand, hoping that it would be easier to reach for him, lifting his head to watch her silently, murpurring and meeping every so often - a language that very few could understand.

Faint gave a ghost of a reassuring smirk and nodded slightly. "Yeah, I'm alright. A lot better than most here, actually." The bruises would get ugly and then heal. Time would tell if the same would be true for all of those in this cabin currently. He clutched the handkerchief in both hands, kneading it angrily.

It was the small cat's language that brought him back to the situation before him. He didn't understand everything the feline said, their languages being pretty different from his own, but he did catch bits. His smile spread a little more before he made a quick snorting sound - a prusten - at the little cat and walked back to Jack to return the handkerchief, rubbing the back of his neck as he held out the slightly wrinkled fabric.

"Three awful lil' foxies. Co-inky-dink, hmm?" Puck tried to tap his temple with one finger, but only succeeded in banging pumpkin against pumpkin. "Awful mysterious, havin' three foxies on one lil' trip." He focused on Jack, tilting his head to one side. "Nothin' special 'bout Puck-geistie. Somethin' special 'bout you?"

Why would someone - three someones - decide to attack all at once? That strangeness percolated even through Puck's self-centered and careless nature. "Mebbe someone's after... someone. We got inna way. Cow-lat-ral damages."

Salali closed her eyes a bit, bringing her lips together as they thought. Reason...reason...They had tried talking about motive before, but that was when there had been a great deal more people in the main cabin. That had been way back when she had been in the cabin and the victim count was 2. Things were very different now, that was obvious...and perhaps that would make things clearer. Or perhaps not.

"Well...if one wished to conceal information in a book by burning it, it would be best to burn multiple books so that which book was meant to be hidden is hard to see, yes," Salali agreed slowly with Puck. It seemed like a good idea, but that just meant it'd probably be hard for them to figure out what book, per say, was meant to be disposed of.

Salali looked in Perlie's direction, even though she couldn't actually see her from where she lay. "What went on in the burrow with the fox? Who remains? Of what is whispered and shouted?"
