San was following Howaido, only he was in the roof. As soon as the enemy showed.

With each step Howaido took, the Chakra in the flowers went haywire, and with each tiny bit of damage that the flowers took from his movement, their Chakra seemed more and more menacing. His saving grace was that he had not destroyed any of the flowers, as then trouble would ensue.
The crystal user activated her technique and her Chakra settled down, identical to the flowers' energies. The shards of crystal around the entrance reformed the barrier that they had been, cutting off the light from the moon. From there, a large pillar of crystal began to form, and the barrier started to expand. The light from the flowers was becoming visible as the pillar formed, although simply coincidentally; without the light of the moon, the Shinobi's eyes would adjust so that they could see the faint traces of light from the flowers, as long as they didn't look at them directly.

Howaido stopped a moment, it felt like... rumbling? Yes that was it, and the flowers were starting to give off the faintest glow, it seemed the entrance was being blocked off. So he was right in thinking how he had at the time earlier, they were trapped now but the others were outside so they may have had a way of escaping if necessary now. He pushed on especially careful of the flowers now, it was eerie the glow and he didnt want to do anything to them in case it brought back a divine punishment upon him. He was moving forwards still as he came to a darkness as it seemed an exit, should he enter? "San, dont do anything to the flowers, I dont trust them, plus they give light so be careful and leave them alone. Also if it makes you feel any better we are locked in now," he was so bland and calm when he spoke a rather alarming message,"Im going into this room watch out for me and Ash." As he came in it was quite an awe filled emotion that took him over, the room was massive. It was overflowing with all kinds of flowers giving off a pale orange or yellow glow to the room of various sizes, like blossoming candles,"Its... amazing down here...."

San spoke to howaido through the bonds golem, as he too noticed the crystal structure had once again completed the barrier. It would seem as if they were trapped. But that was ok for now. San dropped out of the ceiling, careful not to harm any of the flowers, and landed back to back with howaido. Now they had a strong formation, and could continue the main objective.
"Ive got your back, keep continueing....."

As she sped toward the entrance, she saw San and Howaido enter, then the crystal close up behind them. Pulling up short, she threw the concussion baubles she had been reaching for earlier in frustration at the barrier, then raised her voice to sound in the area. "ALL SQUADS ON ME! REGROUP AT THE ENEMY ENTRANCE!" She shouted, calling together everyone left behind. She sighed, frustrated at San.

(( we knew that, it was part of the plan. being amongst the higher ranks, we where not taking gennin into a fortress where more of the THINGS were. We where having them post up the entrance, and come in if need be. Youve seen these things, their is no way a gennin could stand up to them....meanwhile Howaido and are were trying to at least get some intel on them so that maybe if the gennin came in they could stand a chance....))

(( thats not what i ment really (although you are right) but if Howaido and i are getting our buts handed to us....then putting the gennin in the line of fire before us would be un Suna of us right? Although once you guys break down the barrier and join up we be back in buisness))

((ah now i see what you ment. my bad. lol. but... thanks for agreeing with me. and... dang ergo. he could be a genin and still he'd have already obtained at least some kind of siege weapon or some other ungenin-like item. btw... what do you think of my idea for a custom item? it's as follows.
chakra glow stone: place x amount of chakra into the stone. once the stone strikes a solid surface it will emit a dim light equal to 1/2x feet.
also i really cant be of much help untill i am fighting someone. cuz i'm more of a defencive counter person. with a little knowledge of a stealth bukijutsu. but again. more defencive. not good against this kind of barrier. i can fly... but i dont even have explosive notes.))

The crystal user's barrier cracked, but the pillar attached to it started to vibrate in response. The resulting noise would have the same effect as Suzu no Oto--hallucinations, loss of balance, etc.--and would echo repeatedly on the inside of the cave. It seemed that the intruders were walking around the base; if they weren't careful, they would run in to the other creatures.
