Post 5/5 for Construction
Bast strolled in to the construction area, eying the rigging set up to carry large stones upward. She checked in with the overseer, who was just about to go to sleep, and apologized for making him stay up later. The man waved away her apologies and brought out a chair so that he could watch, and then began stoking a fire in a fire pit.
Meanwhile, Bast donned her hard hat and tool belt and walked over to the rigging. She made her way up to the top of the aqueduct and climbed in. The water had been blocked off earlier, it seemed, and the four lower levels were currently the only ones transporting water. Nevertheless, it was slightly slick in the aqueduct due to the cooling air. After making her way to the spot where she would be working, Bast waved down to the overseer. He waved back and hoisted several sheets of plastic up to her using a pulley system.
When the materials got to her, Bast pulled them off of the platform and waved at the overseer again, who then lowered the platform. The woman then slid the widest of the plastic sheets in to place along the bottom of the aqueduct, between two finished sections. She pulled out a mallet and carefully whacked the sheet in to place before pulling out a torch. She lit the torch and melted the sheets together, leaning away from the fumes so that she did not inhale them. She left that to cool and moved away from the plastic sheet. There were two pieces left that she would have to use for the sides, but they were smaller, and curved; they would be used to smooth out the sharp corners between the aqueduct floor and wall, making it easier to clean and maintain, and reducing the chances of mold forming.

Post 5/5 for Construction
The floor was still hot, but it had cooled enough that Bast could continue her work. She lifted the first length of plastic enamel and slid it in to place. Once more, the mallet was employed to slide the piece in to place. This time, though, she also had to hammer it down in to the corner all the way so that it wouldn't distort in the hot sun. She gently tapped the plastic enamel downward until it was flush with the flooring, and then heated it slowly with the torch. The enamel became slowly more pliable, allowing Bast to get it tight in the corner and even with the pieces on either side of it. Thereafter, she melted it to meld it with the other pieces. Her success with this matter assured, she backed up to ogle her work. After a moment, she reached over with her foot and pushed a section back in.
The process was repeated with the second piece of enameling, and now that she knew what to do, Bast could do it much more quickly. She hammer the enamel in to place, heated it, melded it in to the other pieces, and prodded loose sections in to place with her foot. The whole process was very quick and tidy, and at the end she stepped back. She clambered out of the aqueduct and walked back down the rigging to where the overseer was. She sat on the other side of the fire and watched as the man finished off his thermos of soup in one big gulp, and then tossed a rock in to the fire. They chatted for a few minutes about continuing construction on the area, but the plastic needed to cool first. The night air was likely helping in that cause; the winds were warm, but the night was chilly, as the sands did not hold the heat from the day very well. In the end, though, the overseer had to get to bed, so Bast waved goodbye and left for another job.

Manfread continued down the road to Suna, he was pondering over what he had seen during the battle and was unusually quiet for once. Ignoring the scenery around him he walked deep in thought. Though he would soon reach the Village.

DOC NARA Nara Clan~~Genjutsu/Eiseijutsu~~Genin~~THE VOID ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Nonviolence is the first article of my faith. It is also the last article of my creed." Doc was walking from Suna but he stopped for a second so he can eat a bit from what he had kept from the Kage's office. He pulled out a muffin and two cookies and quickly ate them. When Doc finished eating he headed out to the old capital to take care of the rioting problem there. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Chakra Pool: 250 Ryo: 0 AC: 450

The denizens despite their not-so-well situation was very resourceful and quite friendly. And neither have been suspected at least thus far. She heaved in a heavy sigh, insulting her first mistake of not drinking enough water beforehand, now as she spluttered out airy sand from her already dry face. She hated hot climates. She hated deserts and saw those people as close as godly beings for being able to live in them. Wiping a smock over her face, she continued on with her string of mumbling.
"We're about almost there. Let's not change our 'clothes' just yet." By clothes, she meant the transformation. After leaving the Military based City, Doki was full on wary of being able to strip off their ordeals as soon as they had left the island for the ferry here. But that vomit belching moment has passed. Her dull eyes sauntered on to her brother. "You never did tell me that you came here before. ..I'm glad you came along." She said without as much expression on her face as the flowing tartan wrap draping across over her eyes as she marched on. [[Both exits to the Kumo Village]]

He slipped his headband off and tucked it away carefully in his ration bag, carefully hiding it. Now he looked like any other traveler. He then continued forward to the village itself.

The sandstorm will have covered their tracks." he said, pulling his jacket off, revealing the white shirt underneath. "In case we get lost, I'll have markers up." he said, pulling out five kunai, holding them in his mouth by the rins while ripping the sleeves off his jacket.
