Well, here are just a few of my band most terrible in my two years of being in it!

1.Comp-this year. We were at our second or last comp this year and our senior piccolo's uniform has always been a little messed up. She's short and our uniform is a bit stiff around the hips, like a good durable uniform should be. Well, we are running the last number and in the middle of it, the top of your uniform bottoms bust opens. we have adjustable zippers on the side to accommodate several sizes. Her bust open right in the middle of the performance, it was flapping around. It was terrible, but she kept going like a trooper and the judges didn't say a thing about it. Probably didn't notice it where it was so close to the end.

2. Parade(after)-Last year. So, our band shoes suck. Mine are a bit too big and have no padding or anything under them so that they'll be better to march in. Its terrible where mine are just a bit too big, so every time I step my foot rubs hard against the shoe more than normal. Its mostly like I'm sliding in my shoe. So, doing anymore walking than a normal football game gives me blisters. It was our first parade, homecoming. My shoes still are broken in much because we have had like 4 games so far that season. We do this terrible parade in those god awful uniforms(I'm a larger girl, so I get hot, a lot!). I didn't even finish the parade, one of the band parents stayed back with me and got my jacket off. I couldn't walk, it hurt so bad. I suck it up and get in the stadium. Bla bla bla, we do the field show at the end of the night, so homecoming court can have the half time slot. You can tell which one is me, because I'm limping. It was terrible!! I get home and take off my shoes and there is a HUGE blister across the whole ball of my right foot. Lets just say, I didn't walk Saturday. It was there for 4 months!

Well, that's all the stories I could think of! Sorry that they were really long. I always feel like I have to explain everything in details. So, those are my horror stories.
