Tamara "Goldilocks" Radcliffe Tamara slowly inched up to the Great Hall. She felt out of place wearing a dress, as she was very tom-boyish. Her hair had been magically placed into a bun, with the excess flowing out and cascading down her back. Her dress, a combination of orange and black fabric seemed to poof out at her waist, although it was very form fitting. Her usually dirty face was cleaned and made up. She peeked her head into the dance and drew in a heavy breath, then stepped into the event.

Tamara "Goldilocks" RadcliffeTamara paced back and forth near the entrance, biting her lip. Where is he?, she thought to herself, frustration beginning to swell within her. She huffed and sat down near the entrance and began to twiddle her thumbs. If he doesn't show up soon, I'm leaving, she thought again.

First year studentThe doors slid open slowly into the great hall. His untamable hair had been pushed into a borderline respectable pose. He felt like a fish out of water.
His brown eyes flicked down to his hand, where a small piece of parchment was clutched tightly, almost as if it made of gold. To Daemon, it may as well have been. It's value was limitless. He rose it quickly to read again, then smiled faintly at the ink splotches around the parchment, sliding it back into the pocket of his forest green robes with a flourish.
He ran a hand sowly through his hair, removing all evidence of the repairing it had gone under, eyes scanning the crowded entrance hall slowly, a coolness sliding over him as his public mask slid on. All may see. None may touch.
That was the motto of the male.
The motto of Daemon Sadi.
His eyes narrowed as he caught sight of a golden haired female sat out on the ground. The ghost of a smile crossed his lips as he paced over to her, his heart beating in time to the 1812 overture.
"Tamara," Daemon asked in a soft voice that had terrified people during his youth. A child had no right to such a soft tone, "I accept your invite." His hand reached down to her, offering her a hand up.

{Not a first year yet. Here you're still 10 razz } Tamara "Goldilocks" RadcliffeTamara took his hand and stood up, then punched him squarely on the shoulder. "What took you so long? I thought you weren't gonna show up." They were both fish out of water right now. Her black and orange dress sparkled, as if covered in star dust. She smiled awkwardly and nudged him. "I'm glad you came though. This is my school. Where you'll be at the start of next year." She held out her hand, offering it to him.

  "Yes, I would.""Yes please." The two boys said togather. Startled they looked at each other a smile crossing Xenos's face as Yuan chuckled. "If you don't mind showing us that is. Your familiars are interesting creatures, nothing like what I've seen over here." Xenos continued still smiling. Yuan noded in agreement. He didn't understand what was so different about Salem Familiars but he couldn't wait to find out. "Should we move to the side of the room then instead of the middle of the floor?" The Hufflepuff suggested a little worried that summoning any form of animal in such an open area might frighten someone. ((cause I'm assuming they're still in the middle of the dance floor.))

(Soon to be a) First year studentDaemon let a bemused drawl flick through his voice as he took the punch, swayng gently with it so it appeared to have more effect than it actually had. An old role between the pair. "Like I would miss a chance to see you in a dress. The idea of missing it would be rather horrifying and I do fear mother would die of shame were I to skip a chance to come here, and see how great this place is." He slid a carefree glance around the hall, secretly in awe of it, and his eyes flicked in agreement of the expression, but his calm voice soothed lies smoothly. "Not terrible. Far more impressive then the Bank."

Tamara "Goldilocks" RadcliffeShe made a disgusted noise at the mention of Gringotts. "ugh, you had to mention Gringotts. You know the goblins creep me out. They're always staring at me when father brings me there. It's weird." She was more than pleased he was here, even if he were here to tease her. They had a long history, and even though she was a year older than him, she still felt like he was more her age then she was.

Tamara "Goldilocks" RadcliffeShe snorted, which was very unlady-like, but normal for her. "I haven't written you cause I've been busy, dork. You know I read all the time. I finished my Potions text book before the year even got off." She looked around at people dancing and smiled. When he asked where they should go, she held her hand out for him again. "The dance floor, or at least to get some pumpkin juice."

She looked around, looking for her date. She walked towards the ballroom. Sofia bumped into a brown haired boy. She had finally seen her date. "Hi Jimi." Sofia smiled nervously. This was her first time on a date.
