I'm starting to care less about what people think of me and starting to follow whatever I want to follow..
Before I was afraid that some people would be all "what a poser, one day she wears no makeup at all and now her eyes are COVERED in eyeliner!"
Yes, that really bothered me. But now I really don't care so much anymore. If I feel like dressing casual I will, if I feel like dressing very Lolita like, I will.
If people call me a poser for listening to Dir En Grey when I don't even like them, I'll tell them to back off. I don't listen to music because I think it's 'cool' to. I listen to them because I feel like it, whether it's to feel better about my own music or just have a good laugh or enjoy it, or see exactly what's the big deal about a certain band, I'll listen to whatever music I want, when I want, and that doesn't make me a poser.
My posture improved, like everyone else here.
I'm starting to re-learn French.
I'm getting more interested in a doll like figure, even though dolls scare me and I hate most of them.
I'm learning to make my own clothes.
I'm listening to more music, spending more time learning the guitar, and spending more time on getting rid of my acne, making my hair look better, and anything else about me that will make me feel better about myself. Low self-esteem really doesn't rock.
I'm working on making myself happier. Depression doesn't rock either. I'm easily depressed but lately I've been finding millions of ways to make myself happier.
That's how much I changed (kind of) thanks to Gothic Lolita. I know some of these don't make sense but, It all connects, somehow. x3

I treat everything I drink like it's in a teacup. And then When I DO drink tea, my friends look at me funny because I hold it so delicately. <3

I somewhat talk like Alice. o.O I sit there and like "well..if one does this then it's obvious that person might get lost..but of course if one knows where they are..." etc etc. x.x I confuse people with it.
Also, I often carry some form of doll with me all the time. It's a lolita type doll. XD And I just walk around the house with it in my arms , in fact, it's sitting next to me right now. o.o *huggles it*
Drinking Tea is something I always do too, I drank tea like a tea party for decades XD When I was little I used to have Mad tea Parties and such. Hmm..now I shall have my own Mad tea party again, it brought back memories. ;__;

EGL Goddess Heartless_Nanashi Lots of little random things like quoting Shimotsuma story and Alice in Wonderland. I find myself quoting them all the time, it's just so appropiate how they apply to life. One of my favorite quotes is from Momoko. ah, I loved that movie. ^_^ I've started bowing to everyone. o_O;

Hm. I Don't remember if I posted in here before, I'm to lazy to check..><
I'm craving tea right now. Raspberry to be exact. I use big words a lot and I love grammar. Bad grammar makes me feel icky. =/ I love to just randomly quote Alice in Wonderland. Mostly from the Cheshire Cat. =D I stand more Pidgeon toed. I sit upright now. I write all the time ( I don't know if that came from EGL..) I listen to less heavy rock and more stuff like Rasputina and Evanescence. Of course, I've come to absolutely love Jrock. <33 I'm crazy(er) I nagged my mom until she bought me a tophat! =D I NEED a strawberry print skirt! I'll die without one. =/ I'd make one, but the Jo-ann's here doesn't carry Strawberry print stuff. They have Hello Kitty though! =DD
-Shrug- I guess I've changed because of EGL. Yet, I still sneeze like a man. Loud and..MANLY! xD Though, My hiccups are still childish and squeeky. >///<

When I play Pokemon, I only catch the "cute" ones...Like Skitty and such.. In GW, I bought Christmas weapons because I decided a Candy Cane Sword and a Gingerbread focus were too cute to not have, I even got My N/R a pet spider that follows her around...and the miniatures are cute too... I'm too much into video games...lol

Deathbyalice - you sound too much like my younger sister >'D She can't stand the big, tough looking Pokemons, I almost always trade a clafairy/Jigglipuff/Eevee with hr first pkmn...
I'm not much of a loli, really, still.. I'm kinda-sorta obsessed with tea, if there are two things I surely'll do at least tice a day are drinking tea and eating something sweet... for I've seen there's a subforum for tea I'll pass describing how I drink it so I could spam about my sugar-disorder over there >:'D
I suppose elegance and proper speech aren't matters of a loli, are they?

Things that changed since I went fluffy~
~ I spend more time in craft stores looking at lace than anything else, sometimes the whole time.
~ My first thoughts upon seeing fabric are "Lolita skirt?" and it if doesn't work I put it back. XD This is really a pain if i'm looking for fabric for something else.
~ Non-lolita clothes seem like a waste of lolita money
~ I see guys and wonder "Would he look good in a skirt? Hmm maybe a black one with black lace..."
~ I own 10 pairs of lolita shoes....and one pair of sad, lonely sneakers. Poor things, but they just lack grace! crying heart
~ "I would rather be listening to music than talking to people I don't like, just because I am lonely." - Momoko, Shimotsuma manga (My new motto)
~I too do the pigeon-toed pose, even in my PJs! (bloomers and a tank top, usually)
Is it weird that when my boyfriend (at the time, no longer) would try to like, be close with me in public, i'd move away from him? Moreso in lolita definately, but also in my human costume as well?
All these put together really make me wonder.

Ever since I became a loli I try to speak in better english, and even find myself going out of my way just to make sure that my clothes dont get wrinkled or dirty in anyway. I also eat very slowly as to not make a mess and not look improper.

As of late, my posture is better overall (oh the irony.. I type that as I lean back in a semi-slouch), but I absolutely can't stand the vast majority of tea.
It makes me feel like I'm licking a tree D:
Seeing as to I act a bit differently in different settings, I can't say much has changed in my behavior.
In most classes in school I'm fairly quiet. When speaking has been necessary, I've always made it a point to speak properly and politely (to teachers and nicer students, at least... some people just don't get the respect I could give, because they never show it themselves mad ). Other classes I'm outspoken, usually out of irritation, and even when given specific permission to speak to the class as a whole (debates in AP US are the worst for this D: ) people insist on speaking over me, causing the need for me to practically scream as to just get MINIMAL credit. Jerks asldkfjaskldfjsdaklfj.
At home, I'm still exactly the same. Weird as ever, but proper when needed.
My mom's family is really casual, so I suppose I stick out just a bit, but she and her family are way more awesome than my adoptive dad (but I love his family dearly). He's mad at me for something I didn't even do (which happened two or three weeks ago... that stupid jerk), so he doesn't count right now. biggrin
So, sadly, I won't be seeing them for a while until he cools off... which I'm really doubting he'll do. Looks like I'll be driving myself to and from the Christmas Eve party, as to not get disowned by him in front of his family.
Wow. Went of on a bit of a tangent. Sorry D:
In conclusion, I'm only different in my improvement in posture (usually razz )
