Kage sat in a tree, watching the whole confrontation. She was saddened by the fact that Ayame, the captain was gone. She herself was returning from a mission to the world of the living, with Captain Chaos at the time. She saw Hito, Tokemaru, Akira, and another former captain from her time, Ingfire. She jumps down from the tree, and walks over to Tokemaru, and sighs. Then she looks down at the passed out Ayame, and says "No need to call someone that is already here." Then she looks at Hito and says, "Welcome back from your mission, Hito." Then she looks at and says, "newphew, there is no need to call for me every time, seeing that one of officers is here. Aikria, could you heal your former captain a little, so she may leave."

Tokemaru was slightly embarassed but he had a reason for calling for Kage this time.

"Since Ayame blames us for her death (and rightfully so), I thought it would be more...symbolic if you helped her aunt. I see this as a chance to try to attone for what happened." Tokemaru than looked over at Ayame as she tried to get up. Tokemaru was slightly stung when she called them backstabers since he thought he had made it clear that he wasn't involved in that incedent.

"Please calm down Ayame, we're not going to hurt you."

Tokemaru ignored her glare, he'd been glared at many times before. Instead of reacting to the glare, he sat down in front of her. His arms were crossed to show that he had no intention of drawing his zanpakto.

"Is it realy so hard to trust me?" he asked.

"You know me Ayame, when was the last time I ever lied to you? What would be the point in lying?" He asked.

Tokemaru sighed, he thought he was making progress with her erlier but how it was as though he was going aroung in useless circles. This was beginning to feel like a sick joke to him, but he still wouldn't give up.

"You can't blame everyone bacause of something that was done (or wasn't done) by less than a handful of people." Tokemaru put a hand on her shoulder to stop her from moving around so much.

"You should stay still, it'll hurt less."

Tokemaru didn't even flinch when Ayame slapped him. It was a weak strike since she was exhaustred, but he did take his hand off her shoulder (he didn't know there was a burn there).

"Sorry...I didn't know your shoulder was burned. But I'm not giving up Ayame, I can't. I...just want to help..."

'Just give it up, she can't be helped right now because she doesn't want to be.' Ingfire laid a hand on Tokemaru's shoulder, in a friendly calming manner, but he couldn't help feeling cut on the inside about all this. His grip tightened, keeping Tokemaru still.

'Dakota was only able to turn back because he felt disgusted by his hollow side having control, Ayame seems to be enjoying her power a bit too much.

"I agree... She isn't the same person you knew before." Hito chimed in from the back. "Don't be naive... you do realize that you let down your guard at least three times since she awakened." Hito sighed and looked at Ayame and then towards Ingfire. It was weird that an Espada would be cringing in pain for so long, didn't they have high-speed regeneration? Ingfire also knew alot that had happened in the incident from before, and Hito assumed that Kage did as well. Hito wanted answers but wasn't the type to leave for a quiet place to do so.
