Why so shocking? xD I live in Mississippi, and I'm going. It'll be my third year at Otakon. Well... shocking because I adore Sai, and I've never seen a Sai cosplayer. Also, because I'll be cosplaying as Itachi at Otakon, and if you were going to be there, I would fully intend to glomp you (whether you liked it or not), so that my friends could get amusing pictures of Itachi hugging Sai and squee-ing.

Why so shocking? xD I live in Mississippi, and I'm going. It'll be my third year at Otakon. Well... shocking because I adore Sai, and I've never seen a Sai cosplayer. If you manage to get together the money for a plane ticket, I'd reccomend that you search online for people looking for someone to share a hotel room with. The more people sharing a hotel room and therefore splitting the cost, the less you have to pay for the room. That's what I usually do. Yeah, I love cosplaying. I've been Envy from FMA, and I was ANBU Itachi at Anizona recently. Now I'm going to be akatsuki Itachi at Otakon, maybe ANBU Itachi one of the days I'm there. Otakon 2007, I'm planning to be Karasu from YYH. ^^; I choose the characters with long black hair, because I HAVE long black hair and I don't want to wear a wig. I'd LOVE to be Sai, but x.x; I don't want to cut my hair.

Parents aren't an issue for me, I moved out of my parents' house a year ago. @_@ Ritsuka?? Do you have any pictures? I would LOVE to cosplay as Ritsuka or Soubi... probably Soubi, I'm too tall to be Ritsuka. I think I might just be willing to dye my hair or wear a wig, to be Soubi.

Actually, I need some help with a cosplay issue as well, if anyone has any ideas. I'm doing an Itachi cosplay at Otakon, and I just recently ordered an Akatsuki cloak off of eBay (yes, yes, I'm such a cheater xd ). Anyway, the cloak came without any hooks or buttons to keep it closed. Also, the collar isn't quite right. If I'm correct, Itachi usually wears it with the collar up, mostly obscuring his face, correct? Well, this collar is cut in such a way that it always falls open in the front; won't stay up right there or closed. Any ideas?
As for keeping the cloak closed, I'm just curious whether I should use hooks or buttons. The collar, I'm just not quite sure what to do. I thought about just ironing it with a LOT of starch sweatdrop but I dunno.

 Found the pic on youtube.. This HAS Got To BE The cutest Cosplay ever!!! They may not remember this when they get older.. but even though they are babies.. they probably made about millions of SasuNaru fangirls happy and squealing! ^__^
