I've been studying hard in zOMG to prepare for the Easter Event, and now lag is really sandbagging me. Still, I have what I learned, no regrets there. Also, Phin Phang finally reopened, and what a disappointment that's been. Am looking forward to reading Son Zack's ebook Guide to Gaia. You can find the ad on the Gaia-zine, Inc. guild homepage or here: The unofficial Ultimate Guide to Gaia Online (downloadable ebook by Son Zack)I'm learning a little more about BBCoding and image handling, and am hoping to get a scanner hooked up soon. Lots of people are busy with school, I know, but let us know what you are up to!

I'm not up to a whole lot. Mostly preparing to brace myself for when the Gaia Spirit Week thread opens, which will be in the next few days, from what I'm told. I'm one of the mods for that thread, so my attention will be a bit divided between Spirit Week and the summer contents for the clan. c:
Aside from that, my birthday is coming up on the 28th, though I don't have much of anything planned. I might head out for some dinner with my mom and order a couple of comics ^^;
What's everyone else up to? :3

Son Zack's book was a real disappointment. For example, the history was basically a list of MC's and parties. Never got the poster, bookmark, and whatever else it was.
Haven't yet hooked up a scanner. Am slowly picking up a little more BBCode. Am attending AtA and keeping a thread on it for a guild. Last night was REALLY happy to get all 4 of my custom boxes back on my profile and everything IN them. ^^ Am looking forward to Spirit Week!

Dev Notice from Swarf - zOMG Servers Fixed
The zOMG servers all died due to an internal network issue. Sorry for the downtime! They're all back up and running now.
Please resume your regularly scheduled fluff-squashing.

Dev Alert from Swarf, 12:59pm - zOMG Servers Offline for Fixes
In order to avoid the outage we had this morning we're taking the zOMG servers offline while our computer wizards conjure server sprites to exorcise the demons of downtime. Their incantations will take 30-45 minutes and then the game will be back up.

Configured and installed new router, fully operational Cisco Linksys 2500 Dual N Band Router.
Was surprisingly easy to configure and get operational, 15 minutes then had everything running again, 1 hour more to configure 6 computers to configure them to connect to the router.
Yay for technology.

Plasma, that is one computerized household!
A friend was asking about scanners today, and mine are 3+ years old. But I decided to price an electronic tablet. Arrhhh! As much as a computer! Ah, well, I shall use my mousepad for the foreseeable future....which reminds me, I was told about paint.net and gimpi...those go on my 'to do' list.
For now....I need to configure the Firefox add-ons to see if that helps me with lag. Maybe this week?
Btw - this thread is for any member to post updates on what they are doing...

Hey, hey, lucky me! Ai (x Ai za Onigiri x) rescued me from myself! I can get a Wacom Bamboo pen and tablet or pen and touch or - well, there are choices, but the price range is $70 to $200 for the minimum to the ultra deluxe, which is a lot less than I'd thought.
We have a big joint party with XSK coming up in mid-to-late July... Monday is firecracker day for those of us in the U.S. - make sure your pets are in! Maybe on the following weekend, we could have a combined pool/planning party?
