The Mech continues to follow, drying as they moved.
Marcos walked through Dathan covered in spider guts. He was in a pissed off mood. Not only was he left alone with like a bajillion creepy crawlies to kill but his hair was covered in goop. It would take forever to get it back to its former glory. He marched straight through to the cannon and did not bother to look at its destination. He jumped right into the cannon and waited to be launched. If anything, he was definitely the sexiest cannon ball out there. [exit]
Kumori arrived at Dathan Town as he did the same thing as before and pinned the ship in spot with it's shadow. He entered the town and was quick to trade some of his Onyx coins for a few Holzin Shells before departing once more before departing from the town to get back to the port.(Exits)

Sophia arrives in Dathan Town, having run ahead of Saleria. She pulls out her Jian and begins attacking the closest monster to her. She takes it out, then looks and sees a crowd of monsters swarming her. "Hmm...maybe I should have waited for backup. Oh well. I'll make do until she gets over here." She runs at the monsters and swings hard at them, yelling as she does so. A burst of energy is emitted from her sword, taking out a good number of them. "Man, I love being able to do that." She glances behind her to see if Saleria was near yet, then focuses on the enemies in front of her. "Alright, who's next?"
Saleria was seen flying in the air, pulling out her hand ax as she slashed through a few flying wisps. She could be seen absorbing their heat through her skin as she stood up, twirling her ax around. "Keep fighting!" Saleria shouted to Sophia as she exumed her heat to get people to retreat into their houses. She soon looked to the skies, seeing a few Gargoyles diving down as she brandished her Hand Ax with Fire Touch. "I'm just getting started!" She shouted as her Ax glowed a brilliant heated Red. She had looked up to notice the clouds blotting out the sun, making Saleria and the few wisps around the only sources of light in Dathan Town. As one of them Dived down towards Saleria, she held her Ax before her, using the broad defenses as the Gargoyle's stone halberd was being swung around as it slashed down towards her. The heated flames allowed her to catch the Halberd with her Ax. She enforced her strength and moved the halberd up and over her head before punching the Gargoyle's stone face hard with her fist. It was sent barreling backwards from the strong force of the punch. "I can take you on myself." She stated before charging in towards the beast as it roared towards her, bringing it's Halberd back to strike at Saleria with it's Tail.
It didn't take Saleria long enough to be smacked hard and sent into one of the buildings, crashing into it back first as she shook her head. She looked towards the Gargoyle as she got up, her flames beginning to glow as it started to shift in color. She started to whisper in ancient dialect before her Hand Ax and her body turned a brilliant gold flame. She began to run out towards the beast as it roared at her and dropped it's halberd.
Saleria met the beast right outside, the Gargoyle swinging it's claw out towards her. Saleria had effortlessly stopped the beast's arm and had used her increased power and the steel of her Ax to slash at the beast's head. A single strike was all it took to take the monster down as the head was split into two. She tossed the monster off to the side, placing her Hand Ax away as she picked up the dead beast's halberd as she moved in towards the heart of the Town. She had the Stone Gargoyle halberd in her hand as she began to swing it around at some of the weaker beasts. She soon came across a Machine that targeted her, it's fins shaking a bit as it got it's sword ready. Saleria kept her flames up as the Halberd was soon coated with a yellow flame as she charged in quickly. But without her knowing, she had began sliding towards the creature, it had spilled slime onto the floor to make it hard to fight as Saleria was sent speeding by it. As she was trying to stop, she turned around and was knocked away by a bony Tail, sending her through three houses. She seemed out of it, her head dazed as she slowly tried to get back to her feet, using the borrowed halberd as stability.
Her flames were beginning to flicker before she shook her head and shouted out in anger as she charged out of the building to see the Machine once more. Instead of waiting for her chance, she began to twirl her halberd a few times before throwing the Halberd towards it. Since it was busy terrorizing a female, it wouldn't be able to notice the halberd that pierced through it's hard scales and through the body entirely. Saleria soon pulled out her Hand Ax, charging in and jumping up as she decapitated the being with her Ax before looking to see a fleeing Skeleton Dragon. "Coward!!!" She shouted in anger, but she had an idea that this wasn't going to be the last time they were going to be fighting foes here.

"Saleria!" Sophia calls out to her ally, giving her a little boost. She turns back to see more enemies approaching. "Good, I'd have hated to waste that energy..." She hears some panicked screaming a few houses over, and notices a group of 5 Dirge Hummingbirds have swarmed the house. "Damn it..." She puts away her Jian and pulls her Crossbow out, quickly loading it. She runs to the house, puling her shield out as she does so and uses it to break through a window, getting some minor cuts from the glass as she does so. She puts the shield away and moves to see the Hummingbirds, at which point she aims her crossbow and fires off a tripartite shot, damaging the wings of three of the birds. She puts the crossbow away and pulls out both her rapier and her jian, rushing the birds, and dispatching the three downed birds as the other two attack her. She fends them off for a moment, then finally takes them out. Turning to the people in the house, she glares at them. "Get into a safe room, now!" She puts the rapier away and runs back outside.
Once outside, she sees a few goblin commoners run into the town. She sighs. "Shifty Hair wasn't joking about how bad a shape this town was..." She runs at the goblins, cutting down two of them. The third one hits her with a club in the back of her knee, knocking her down on the knee. She winces slightly, but unfastens her shield and smacks the goblin in the face, stunning it. Getting up, she impales the goblin in its stomach, and kicks it away from her sword into a wall. She rotates the knee that the goblin hit a few times, then looks around "What's next!?"
Saleria could feel power surging through her body as she heard Sophia calling out to her. She could feel some sort of beast inside of her beginning to move around as she bellowed throughout the town. "Don't give up hope!" She shouted, granting all the soldiers helping out in the town as they were moving faster and striking down other foes. Saleria would appear to have canines coming out of her mouth, signifying her growing strength as her yellow flames were boistered with the heat. It seemed as though this wasn't the end as Orcs began to move in on the city, sending out an Orc Brute to deal with her. It didn't take long for them both to collide, Saleria matching strength with the Beast as they clashed blades with one another. Her steel ax withstanding the force of the Orc's hand-crafted longsword as she growled at the being. Their strengths were matched, but only because Saleria was allowing the brute to think he had the upper hand. As Saleria grinned at the Brute before she was bumrushed by an Orcsman Charger, sending her off of her feet with a cheap shot to her cheek.
Saleria was sent flying from where she was, crashing into a pillar but only creating a solid collision crack against it. She slowly began to get back up, holding her head as it had a small cut, already bleeding quickly. Upon noticing it, her rage grew quickly as she glared at the Charger as their cockiness was making them easily opened. She absorbed in the oxygen around her, her Yellow flames glowing brilliantly before she charged towards the Charger. Her speed and her strength far surpassing the Orc, it didn't take long till she was barreling THROUGH the charger's body. As she was skidding to a stop, the blood of the orc steaming off of her, she turned to look at the Brute as it roared at her.
Saleria was breathing heavily as she held her Steel Hand ax once more, igniting it in flames once more. She moved in quickly and even her Hand ax had it's own glow as they swung their weapons at eachother at the same time. The weapons collided, but with the power of Flames, Saleria's hand ax slashed through the Orc's blade before she followed through with decapitating the being as her rage was beginning to calm down. She looked around as she could feel the ground trembling.
She prepared her ax as she kept the flames licking along the blade as she soon noticed a creature slowly approaching, the sight of it caused Saleria to gasp from the sight of it. It was a duo of Brutes as they slowly began to approach both Saleria and Sophia. The one heading to Saleria was already feasting on something, it didn't take her long to notice it was the corpse of a young little girl. Her teeth gritted as she exumed an extreme amount of flames around her, reigniting her golden state. "I'll kill you!!!" She shouted as she charged at the beast while it made some unintelligible sounds. Her hand ax prepared as she jumped up into the air, aiming to cut it into two pieces before the beast swung its arm and sent Saleria flying through a pillar and into a house. She was wounded, her left arm broken from the battle but her spirit wasn't broken as she got back up and charged back into the fray. Her warrior instincts refusing to let her acknowledge her damaged arm as she moved to the side, her own molten blood getting to her left eye as the creature attempted another swing. She jumped up and slashed at it's weaker arms to cause it to howl and stumble back in pain. It reached out with it's diamond arm, grasping Saleria as she was shouting, the pain in her left arm being increased by the squeeze from the diamond strength grasp. She raised her flame ax up as the creature began to bring Saleria in to try and devour her. Before it could open it's mouth wide enough, Saleria had brought her ax down into the skull of the brute, splitting the head into two as she was released, falling to her knees from the crippling pain.

Sophia notices the two brutes approaching Saleria. Seeing Saleria fall to her knees, she fires off an air punch, hitting the other Brute, getting its attention more than she already did. She walks up to it, sword at the ready. She walks in circles it briefly, then pulls toward her using Air Funnel. She stabs it in the stomach, but it bites her left shoulder before it dies. Sophia winces in pain and puts her right hand on her injured shoulder. "Damn it..." She kicks the brute corpse. "Sore loser..." She hears the sound of explosions nearby and turns towards the sound. Her eyes widen, noticing that it was coming from the house that where she fought off the hummingbirds earlier. "No..." She runs over to it, and notices that it was overrun by Vampiric Butterflies, which had completely drained the occupants. Sophia closes her eyes for a moment, clenching her fists. She takes in a few deep breaths. The butterflies notice her presence and move in. Once they're close, Sophia opens her eyes and lets out a powerful scream, blowing all the butterflies against the side of the house, crushing them with the force of it. Doing so attracts the attention of three Orc Axemen, who run into the house and charge her. Sophia turns around and stabs her jian into the ground. "COME ON!" She sends a burst of energy into her sword, and charges the group, dragging her sword through the ground, and removing it at the last moment to cut the center orc clean in two, and pelting the others with chunks of earth and the wood of the floor. She cuts the other two down, and leaves the house, which collapses a little later due to structural damage.
She looks up to see about 10 gargoyles above her. She launches herself up into the air using Air Spout, reaching the level of the gargoyles. She looks at the one closest to her. "Be gone." Her jian begins to glow, and she swings her sword in a horizontal arc, releasing a wave of energy that cuts down two of the gargoyles. The other eight proceed to swarm her, and she uses swift rhythm to take out the first one, but starts getting beaten by the other seven. After a moment, she uses another air funnel, pushing away with her spout as she does so. A large chunk of the collapsed house gets pulled up, and smashes into the gargoyles, stunning them. As they are stunned, Sophia unleashes another great breath, forcing the gargoyles to the ground. She lands on the ground a few yards from them, and sticks her sword into the ground. She sends energy through it, and charges the grounded gargoyles, cutting one apart, and crushing the others with large chunks of earth.
Panting, she looks up. "Oh, come on!" The skeletal dragon that ran away from Saleria earlier had returned, with a friend. She uses another air spout, and charges the first dragon. "Give me a break!" She charges up her sword, and sends its blade crashing into the first dragon's skull, shattering it. The rest of the dragon falls apart. She turns to the other one only to notice that it was about to try and bite her. "Oh, crap." She quickly manipulates the air around her, forming a shield, and pushes the dragon's mouth aside, though her side is grazed by a tooth. She pulls out her crossbow and aims it at the dragon's head, charging the bolt, and fires it using piledriver. The bolt crushes a good bit of the skull, but the dragon regains its orientation and charges Sophia again. Sophia draws her rapier to prepare, holstering the crossbow again. She waits until she's in the dragon's mouth, then moves more in, getting right under where her bolt had hit him. She charges the energy in her body as she moves, then sends it coursing through her rapier, driving the point through the injured portion, shattering the skull. The rest of the skeleton crumbles, a good bit of it hitting Sophia, and she collapses to the ground. Forcing herself up after a moment, she walks over to Saleria, coated in dust, as well as her blood and that of the orcs. She sits by Saleria. "So, how's your day going?"
With her left arm broken, she appeared to be a much more desirable and 'vulnerable' target than Sophia. As such, she had to call for one of the Cleric soldiers to be at her side, with a young adept one to be with her. She placed her ax away and was breathing heavily as she got into a fighting stance with her single arm. As the man was about to help her, she was quick to motion her hands as she saw a few swarm of Orc Chargers coming her way. The shaking of the earth definitely wasn't coming from the chargers as they were coming towards her. The closer they got, the more in danger they became as Saleria stayed her ground. She was one armed and only had half of her strength to use due to trying to resist her own pain, so she had to make due with one hand. Her yellow flames and her boistered state helped make up for that, keeping her strength quite high. One of the orcs decided to come charging in, to which Saleria raised her right leg, blocking the Orc's fist with her hardened leg. She winced as the attack still hurt her, but the Orc's own hand was broken, as if he had punched a steel wall. She was quick to take advantage, empowering her own strength in her right hand to punch through the Orc's unarmored skull with her violent right hand. Since it didn't consume any of her energy, she had stamina to spare as she motioned for the others to come at her.
The ground shaking seemed to get worse as even the chargers got scared and ran off as the Cleric grabbed Saleria's arm, healing the bone to allow her to move it once more. She shook her arm slightly and smiled as it seemed that the big man was coming to the town. She looked to Sophia as she approached and giggled at her appearance before pointing to her head. "I got myself a nasty head bruise and I just had my arm healed... I can go one more round." She told Sophia before giggling a bit.

11-4 The two had done a decent job in aiding Dathan Town. Many lives were saved due to their help, and some because the chaos had driven away the citizens. Other soldiers had fought alongside them and now the fighting was dying down. Before it all relaxed, the ground began to shake. Something was lumbering forward, each step it took sending violent tremors across the land. The stench preceeded the sight, and it smelled of death. It emerged from behind a building, the horned helmet it wore actually passing over it easily. The Orc Giant picked up a soldier who was retreating and tossed him like a sack of potatoes. He stomped another who tried to escape him and snatched up one more. The beast was shirking blows off one after another. Spears and blades bounced off of him and arrows couldn't seem to find a way to penetrate him. The O.G. roared triumphantly as he swung the man by the leg, knocking him into several of his companions. Smaller orcs had begun to rally near the gargantuan version of themselves and were renewing the battle in earnest. If something was not done about this soon it was clear that Dathan Town would suffer a fate none too bright.

Sophia gives a fake frown to Saleria. "Yeah, yeah, laugh it up, I look awful. I just took out two skeletal dragons. I'm just glad I don't look worse..." She then laughs for a moment, then calls over a cleric to patch up her wounds. After a moment, she sits up when she hears and feels the ground shaking. "Please tell me that that's the thunderous sound of the enemy retreating..." She sniffs the air. "And that that's the smell of soiled orc pants..." The Orc Giant then emerges. Sophia begins beating the ground with her hands and feet, like a child throwing a tantrum. "Are you kidding me? There's more!?" She stops, sighs and gets up, drawing her jian. "Please tell me that THAT is the last thing we have to go through today..." She walks a little closer to him, then throws an air punch at him. "Hey!" She dons a more serious expression. "The fun fight's over here." She smirks, and points her blade at the Giant and his companions. "Come and get me, if you have the guts!"

Saleria Nystorm The Flame Typhoon

Saleria got to her feet, brandishing her Hand Ax as the ground shaking was obviously getting closer. Sophia's worriment made Saleria giggle once more but she shook her head and soon saw the horns as his smell was mainly being replaced with the smell of smoke for Saleria. "Smells like burnt sausages." She stated before seeing the giant creature at the edge of town. "My kind of party!" Saleria stated as she clasped her hands together and released her golden flame state once more. She has been putting a strain on her physical body as she soon raised her Ax up into the air. She decided to give it a small charge as her flame energy slowly moved into the Ax, but without creating fire on the blade. "We need to keep it from getting further inside!" She shouted to Sophia as she was gathering energy into her Ax.

11-4 Despite its stature and great strength, the O.G. was not the most intelligent creature. It stopped dead in its tracks when Sophia called out to it, but didn't exactly get what she was saying. After all, orcs didn't speak the common tongue. Having enough brains to realize it was being taunted, the Orc turned towards the femme fatale and started at a slow pace towards Sophie. It appeared to be just walking at them, but its legs were so big it covered the distance rapidly. The orc lifted its arm with the man he had been holding and chucked the body forward with incredible strength straight for Sophia. Its next move was to break into a jog and rip a lamp post up from the ground, rebar and all. The O.G. brandished it with a flourish and took a swipe at both of the girls.
