Micah Boyé "Yeah, lead the way goregous," Micah's eyes became watchful yet his voice returned to his natural sensual and kind tone. With his slightly paler skin glinting in the sun he fixed the bag around his shoulder and looked around him. He was going to be very careful from now on, he could not afford to get into legal trouble, after the accusations in France about he and his father being terrorist manipulators bent on the destruction of order in France. Though there was a slight pain in his heart due to the death of Zus, he felt rejuvenated as though he could take on the entire world at this point. Not that he would try it of course, Micah was just a foolish boy, not an insane member of an extremist colony.

______________She nodded and turned away from Micah to head down the dock. She prayed that he wouldn't ask too much about what had happened while he was gone. She gave him the broad version of an answer. Then she wished as hard as she could that her brother would return home safely. .

The Reality ◑ The Delusion - - - - - It was with a high pitch squeal of joy from newly found freedom, that Emery came running full sprint into the sandy beach. Behind her she dragged a leash that had markings of being gnawed away, mainly by dull human teeth. It dragged as it was still connected to her collar as she had failed to figure out or fully understand the idea of taking off the said broken leash. All that ran through her mind was this was the first time in a long time she got to run around on her own. No sibling there to tell her stop that, or don't do this, or stop chasing birdies. Nope, she was her own lady today! And what did free ladies do? They go to play in the sand and no one to tell them what to do! She had been running along the beach for a bit, seeming to fuel on tireless energy, when that endless energy came to a sudden halt. Such a halt that Emery slid in the sand and fell over onto her bottom.
This normally would upset Emery, but she was too busy debating what had just occurred. Did she fall? No, falling hurts. This was funny. So it was something else she couldn't describe. Oh, sand! Grinning as she forgot her sore bottom, she slapped her hand into the sand to watch the tiny grains cave in to her smack. No one to tell her what to do! No one.. No one means she could – she scooped the sand up and, once her eyes were squeezed shut, poured it into her tangled mess of red hair. It spilled off her face and tickled her cheeks, but a bulk of it still trickled and leaked through the knots in her hair. Yes, she could do anything! She could play with, kick it, throw it, eat it – oh don't eat it, it doesn't taste good. She learned that the hard way. She stuck her tongue out at that bad memory. But, now the sand fell throughout her shirt, and that didn't feel very good against her skin, so she decided it was best not to put the sand on her head. Instead, she would put it in her shirt! Flipping a part of her shirt inside out to expose her belly, she started to scoop the sand into the cavity of the cloth while humming a ill-tuned song to herself that carried no rhythm or beat of any kind.

Rocky Road ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - - - - - Rocky let out a yawn as his stretched his arms out. Are we there yet? He peered out from behind the crates, looking left, right then left again, making sure there was no one, before resuming his position. At least no one's here.
Rocky had sneaked onto the ship in desperate attempt to escape from his home. Moreover, he would have been caught by the deck crew if not for his ability to run fast and the large crowd of people, allowing him to weave through them, providing him a helpful way to create more distance for escaping.
Thinking back on how his mum used to attempt to catch him for misbehaving, Rocky chanced a smile. Thanks Mum, that sure helped in saving my a**.
Rocky felt the ship slow down and immediately went on alert. We're there? Rocky heard a door open and the heavy thud of footsteps echoed as two people, probably men, walked into the cargo room. Adrenaline rushed through Rocky, uncertain of what would happen next. Trembling a little, Rocky closed his eyes and tried to locate the position of the intruders by their footsteps. The footsteps got louder and closer with what felt like eternity to Rocky was actually seconds.
A voice with a British accent spoke, "Hey Carlos, you take left and I'll take right. Man, that kid was fast."
"Tell me about it. We might lose our jobs too." replied a gruffy voice.
As Rocky heard the heavy footsteps closing in to his right, he readied himself. As a head appeared, Rocky bolted, pushing the man aside and charged towards the door.
"Hey you, stop!"
Rocky kept running until he got onto the deck, where he immediately weaved through the crowds in a hurried attempt to get away for the second time. Upon setting foot on the harbor, he wasted no time and continued running in fear of being followed. Before he knew it, he was on the beach. Turning his head around for the first time, he saw that there was no one. Rocky clutched his chest, his heart thumping hard and his breath heavy. Oh God, I'm never doing that again.
After catching his breath, Rocky's stomach started growling like a monster. And I haven't had food for hours. But what choice do I have? Rocky resigned to his currently sad fate and laid down on the bright yellowish sand, choosing to shift his attention to the clouds in hope that his stomach would forget about eating.

The Reality ◑ The Delusion - - - - - The sand curled and moved in tiny waves around Emery's fingers as she drew an indiscernible picture in the sand. As far as anyone else would tell, it was a bunch of random squiggles, but to Emery's keen eye, it was a fantastic elephant balancing on a ball as it eats a turkey leg! She grinned happily at her work. It was wonderful, she loved it! Then, with a swipe of her hand, it was gone. She was done drawing, it was boring now. Not that the sand was, sand was never boring. But, she wanted something else to do. Turns out, without her siblings, she was quite bored. No one was here to tell her not to do something or pull her around. No one to – a figure not far away appeared moving down the funny wooden walkway and into the sand. He must have been tired, cause he went to sleep right away. Blinking, she poured the sand from her shirt and stood up, as to get a better birds eye view of him. What a funny man, sleeping in the sand. Why, that looked like a lot of funny fun! She would go sleep in the sand too!
Dragging her leash behind her as she swayed her body about to move the leash in a slithering S pattern in the sand, she approached the boy with a broad, toothy Emery grin. The shirt she adorned and tangled mess of hair rained small flecks of sand down onto him when she leaned far over to nearly be atop of him. Any farther and she'd fall over. That would upset her. Falling on your face isn't fun. “I'm not sleepy.” She stated promptly as she decided she didn't want to sleep like the silly man. So, it was best to inform him of that fact. ”Are you sleepy?”

Rocky Road ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - - - - - Rocky laid on the sand, the gentle sea breeze ruffling his hair. This feels good. As he gazed at the clouds, his mind started to trail off to the things he wanted to do on Nirvani Island; like finding a home, getting a job and the list goes on. Soon enough, he was oblivious of his surroundings.
A shadow fell on Rocky's face and broke his train of thought, pulling him back to reality. "Woah!" Rocky immediately drew his arms to his face in reflex as something pelted down on his arms. What was that? Slowly uncovering his face, Rocky came into eye contact with a girl who was grinning widely. She had long, red hair, innocent eyes, a very pretty face and -what?- a collar on her neck. Rocky blushed. Wow, she's pretty. Realising that he had not replied the girl's question, Rocky cleared his throat, gave a little smile and replied politely, "Oh, hello, my name's Rocky. And no, I'm just trying to forget my hunger. What's your name?"

The Reality ◑ The Delusion - - - - - Emery eyed the man for a long moment, giggling with no real cognitive reason other then it was fun to giggle, cause giggling was a happy thing to do. It was difficult to keep concentration on him, she ended up looking elsewhere, mostly at the water where the waves continued their endless crashing attack on the shore. But, she didn't know how to swim, so water was a frightful idea to go into. She preferred the dry, warm, sand that's ever so – oh wait the funny boy. He was talking now, and she was paying attention. She tilted her head and gave way to a small laugh. He was funny, and she wasn't sure why. But he was! “Rocky,” She mimicked in a higher pitched voice, as though tasting the name on her tongue to give it a try. It was amusing. He was a comical man, wasn't he. ”Emery.” She then replied, out of taught curtsy from her family. Her legs were tired, so she sat. Why, now that she thought of uncomfortable things – lots of things were uncomfortable, weren't they? She reached up at her collar and scratched at the area around it. Sand had slipped beneath the collar and caught between the fibers, it was more uncomfortable then usual. It was beginning to upset her. Not to mention the sand that had found its way into her other parts. She frowned and smiled, then frowned again, then gave another meek smile. Caught between being happy with her new friend and her uncomfortable situation, she settled for an awkward smile. ”Hunger? Hungry? I'm hungry too, you want a mud pie?”

Rocky Road ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - - - - - Rocky got himself up into a sitting position, smiled back at the girl and turned his attention to the sea. "Oh. Emery, huh. That's a beautiful name." Still blushing, he glanced at her. He noted that Emery might like the waters for having stared at it for awhile. As he took a second glance, something caught Rocky's eye as she scratched her collar. What?! Is that a leash?! Is she dangerous or was she being held captive? Maybe it's a fashion here. Rocky frowned a little at the many possibilities. He had learnt to be more cautious from his recent experience of sneaking on a ship. But being a total stranger to Emery, Rocky decided to keep an eye on her, just in case. Rocky managed to return to a smile as he watched her varying facial expression. But she's cute. Perhaps I'm overly cautious. "Oh yes, I'm hungry. Mud pie? Well, anything's fine as long as it fills my stomach. God, I'm so hungry." replied Rocky as his stomach rumbled once more.

The Reality ◑ The Delusion - - - - - Emery watched the boy with the funny name for a long moment who had an even funnier habit of acting oddly. She liked him, especially his talking stomach. Emery's stomach spoke sometimes too! Maybe a hungry troll lives in her – Emery trembled at the idea of an ugly little troll eating her food! She liked her food, and she didn't like sharing it with ugly trolls. Hopefully the man didn't have one in him! That would be scary. What was she thinking about? Trolls? What about trolls.. Oh, food. What kind of food? As her thought process veered from trolls and other innocent thoughts, she stared at him for a long moment, lightly tugging at the torn leash connected to her collar. Oh - ”Mudpies, okay.” She agreed, nodding vigorously. She was good at making mudpies! Rising up, she made her way down to the water where she stopped abruptly by the edge. The thin foam just barely reaching her toes, its cold chill was ticklish and the tiny bubbles the salty liquid made was so cute! This was far enough, or wet enough for her. You never know when one of those waves gets so, so big that it comes and sweeps you away! Maybe she should learn to swim? No way, if she doesn't go in, it won't get her! Leaning over, she dug her fingers into the wet sand, scooping it up for a second before, just as another wave threatened to come and wet her feet, running with an excited squeal from her foamy enemy. The muddy sand dripped onto her shirt and exposed legs, it was cold and her shirt was wetter in areas uncomfortably so. While the shorts she wore didn't do much against the cold, at least her long sleeved shirt did. Returning to him, she kept the muddy sand in her hand that had already started to harden as the water slipped between her fingers and drained from the sand. As it did so, she held the hardened moist sand in one hand and used the other to top dry sand atop of it. Compacting it tightly into a hardened ball of sand. It was kinda misshaped and not too circular as it was lumpy, but it looked good to Emery! Grinning at her work, she handed it with two hands to her new friend. ”Mudpie!”

Rocky Road ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - - - - - Rocky's eyes glued onto Emery as she rose and headed towards the sea. She stopped at the edge and scooped something. Sand? Rocky raised an eyebrow at the thought. I sure hope that wasn't what she meant by mudpie. He realised what he had done when Emery returned, holding a handful of muddy sand. Uh oh. Surely she isn't going to ask me to eat that, right? Rocky watched in horror as Emery poured dry sand over the muddy mass and offered the mudpie. Having a soft spot for girls, Rocky did not want to hurt her feelings by declining the offer. Instead, Rocky did what he thought was best. He tried to smile as he took the mudpie with both hands and politely replied, "Thanks, but are you sure we're going to eat this? I don't think we can eat this, you know." Rocky looked into Emery's eyes, hoping that he did not say anything that he should not have.

A nice, relaxing spring breeze. The calming sounds of wave's hitting the pier. And the solitude of being at a place that hardly is ever crowded. But most importantly, a place with zero obstructions of the sky. This place was near perfect for simple Alt that needed a place to relax. He had of course been here once before when they first got to the island. However. He never got to enjoy it's scenery. Sure it was just a harbor... But its view of the sky was so open! How could someone not love this spot? And even better. There wasn't a single cloud in the sky.
"Ahh~" Alt let out a simple sigh. One of calmness and relaxation. Lately he had been forced to go to school during the day, and watch Erika in the evening. So precious time outdoors like this was something to savor. It really was a great day. So much so that even Alt's strange smile was one that was relaxed and normal. That's why it was nice to just lay on the dock with his feet swinging off the edge. And in the silent white noise of the waves, Alt began to whistle a small tune.

Nirvani Island. Or Sonata... You know what? Blaire would keep on calling it Nirvani. The girl would never be sure what brought her to this island so much... Really after the hell it gave her three years ago, it would make sense to stay away. However, she was back, and she was pretty happy where she was right now. Working at the daycare, and working on her music. Which lead to today, nothing inspired her more than being outside, and the harbor seemed like the perfect place to be at. She should've brought something to play but, really it would've ruined the calm the harbor brought. Her footsteps were light on the dock as she walked for a bit until she noticed someone there as well. It was slightly surprising, but after spending so much time with kids and a blind teenager that was pretty much another child, it was refreshing to find something else. Oh? A tune?
"That sounds nice" commented the girl, stopping just a feet or two next to the male and sitting at the edge of the docks.

Alt's tune had gone on for a while. In fact he didn't remember when he started whistling. He didn't even realize he was still whistling until someone mentioned it. Alt had just been sitting there staring for probably a good hour now. His lips were dry... He looked up to a shadow that came over his chest. A female, someone he didn't recognize. A new person. Alt was smiling, though not because of the compliment, because he now had someone to talk to.
"I appreciate it" Alt replied picking his torso up so that he was sitting straight. He had to stretch a bit as he got up. He had been still for a while. "I call it...." He began to say pointing his finger up like he was saying something important, "Umm..." His hand fell a bit as he thought. And as he thought his eyes wandered up into the sky... "Big and Blue."

Blaire couldn't help laugh slightly. "Big and Blue, huh? Sounds about right. I'd call it Simple and Catchy, but that works" commented the girl, her gaze following the boy's. Oh look, the sky was pretty today. She hadn't noticed up until now, but she was always aware of what was in front of her more than above her. To accompany that, the female started hitting the edge of the docks, making a little drummed beat. Making her own little tune while looking up at the sky.

The boy thought about the girls comment. 'Simple and Catchy'? True the sky was pretty simple but... Catchy... Catchy... Alt began to try lift his arm to try to grab at the air but he stopped himself. He was with company, no need to be diving into his own thoughts! Alt then looked over to the girl when she began make a beat. To think that his simple whistling was liked by someone. Today was a good day. Days where the sky was clear always seemed to be good. Alt followed the girl's eyes up to the sky, "It's cool isn't it?" He hadn't met anyone to talk to about the sky yet. Maybe this girl would. "Something so big and colorful" The boy spoke following the girls beat with his own hands, "There's nothin' else like it."
