"No." Herman snapped, his voice becoming scrappy again. "SHIELD is no better than ROXXON."
The two ladies were still out cold. And Star was giving everyone half her attention. The other half of it was interested in the little device hovering in front of her. And the other half...well, she didn't want anyone looking in her bag she had slung over her shoulder now. Not with the charming little "bracelets" she'd recycled from the original Shocker.

"Worse," Spidey informed him lightly, "They're worse. Anyway, as soon as you stop throwing temper tantrums and trying to stick it to the man, maybe I'll introduce you to the actually decent people. You could be using that brain to help the general population, rather than pulling bank heists and losing brain cells every time you get hit in the head by li'l old me."

Herman just scowled. Obviously, turning his life around wasn't going to happen just like that. If it happened at all. "Told you..." he said quietly. "You have no idea how the world really works."
Star glanced away a bit and absently twirled the small device around in the air in front of her. "At least you have your health. What's left of it anyway."

"Oh, please," muttered Spidey. He didn't know how the world worked? Ha. Hahahaha. Well, he could hear sirens. "Right. Herman, as usual, it's been a real slice. Ladies?" he added to Gold Star and Firestar. Without waiting for their response, he jumped up and started swinging away.

Star smiled a bit and started to float into the air. She heard the man on the ground growl something about giving him back his device, but decided to ignore him.
Carefully grabbing the device, she slipped it into her large purse and began floating higher into the sky. Her eyes fell on the sack of jewels and lingered there a moment. Damn...this was going to be harder than she thought. Muttering something under her breath, she abandoned the gift wrapped goodies and followed after Spidey.

Firestar smiled sweetly at Shocker and waved, "Be seeing you Herman. It's been fun."
With that, Firestar flew up in the air, made a loop, and followed the Spidey and Gold Star.

"Well," Spidey said lightly performing a lazy mid-air somersault, "That was a complete waste of everybody's time." Although... he was a little concerned that his villains were suddenly turning up.

He winced. "Oh. Yeah. That's been happening a lot; apparently some parts of various cities didn't make it, or were replaced with different versions of the same area from different realities." He didn't want to say that Queens was completely gone, resulting in him not even having a place to get a clean pair of underwear if he happened to fall into the Hudson AGAIN, but he thought it.

Gold Star snickered and tried hard not to make a sound. She wanted to comment. But she wanted to be good as well.
Heck, she couldn't even comment on where she was staying at now. Because...well...she'd rather avoid that conversation for a while.
