Dec looks over the grayhounds.
He picks Number 6, a brindled brown and white greyhound. "I'll place a Show Bet on Number 6. I'll place 50 G."
He gives 50 G to the bookie and watches the race with Katana.

Dec cheered on Number 6 as the hound raced around the track.
His hound came in first!!! "Man, I should have placed a Straight Bet!"
Still the Bookie was pleased to hand him 567 G.
He came grinning over to Katana. "I won! Did you see?"

She cheered for Dec's greyhound along with him. She watches as the dog crosses the finish line.
"Babe! You won!" She hugged him and kissed him quickly on the lips.

Dec kisses Katana passionately. The excitement of winning warmed him but katana warmed him even more. He panted a little as he let her go and turn towards Bonnie. "You did good, sis."

She slips an arm around his waist as Dec kisses her. When he finally broke the kiss, she vaguely heard Bonnie asking her for her opinion on the racetrack. Exhaling a shaky breath, she looks at Dec with an invitation in her eyes before turning to Bonnie.
"It's wonderful, Bonnie....I think it'll be a huge success. Feel free to come by and advertise at the bar anytime if you have something special going on here. wink "

Once inside the elevator, she backs him up against the wall of the elevator and kisses him hard, pressing up against him and letting him know she was quite ready for some alone time with him.
Dec and Kat leave the racing center and make their way back to Dec's place for some R&R. wink

Bonnie rushes around BARC; arms full of Halloween decorations. She hangs spider webs with fake spiders, black tarps, fake blood, tombstones, .... By the time she is done, the racing center looks like a parlor for some southern Gothic novel, the front room like a spooky graveyard (complete with half buried corpses), and the adoption center like a funny kind of spooky: all sort of wacky kid friendly sort of decorations. Only the Vet Clinic escapes from her Halloween craze unscathed.
Bonnie plunks a huge bowl of Halloween treats down on the front desk and then sits behind the front desk for a minute, panting a little. "Alright, preparations for Trick or Treator's complete." Her eyes spread over to the clock. After watching it tick for a while, she got up and went to play with the animals in the adoption center. Might even try to get a few of them into costumes, maybe.

*rushes in looking for Bonnie and doesn't see her* Awww man!! *pouts then goes up to the counter* TRICK OR TREAT! *his voice echoes off the walls, scaring some of the smaller animals.* eek Oops....Trick or Treat! *he says quieter and holds out his pail*
Yay! Candy! *wanders off to look at the animals in their cute costumes but then realise he would probably just scare the living bejesus out of them. sweatdrop and wanders back to the front desk instead. sad *
