He didn't really think that was a very good one, and apparently the creature didn't either. But the riddle stumped it and it let him pass. He continued on, wondering what else was lurking in the maze. The class had warned about minor wounds, but he hoped it wouldn't be today. He was still bearing the bruises from the band competition.
He jumped a bit at the growl and paused, trying to find the source. He caught the flash and set into a run, hoping to avoid whatever the creature was.

That was close! Julian managed to get away and stumbled into the center of the maze. His eyebrows rose at the sight of the bucket and the skull. He frowned for a moment, thinking this might be a little too easy, but he started to approach anyways, cautious of his surroundings.
And then the skull was gone and something moved behind him. He turned to see the mad ghost horse rear at him and charge. Wings half-furled, he launched himself into a gliding run at the bucket, intent on not leaving empty-handed.

Julian grabbed into the bucket as he passed it, his hand closing around one of the balls within and he skirted around the edge of the center, fleeing out the nearest exit.

Tybalt gasped with relief. It seemed like hours before he lost his pursuer. He only hoped that the blasted creature hadn't gotten him lost! He sniffed the air and made a face. Nothing. It seemed as though his scent of smell was not going to aid him much in his little quest, so he would have to rely on purely on instinct to find out where to go. Which thankfully paid off in the end.
He rounded yet another corner and caught sight of what he assumed was the prize--as well as something... Else? He looked a little close and made out the shape of a horse skull on some sort of pelt, which he swore he had seen somewhere before... But where exactly?
Shrugging it off, he turned back to the round purple objects in the bucket. He had seen those somewhere before too, only in different colours. Though just as he was about to reach out towards him, he noticed that the horse skull and pelt was gone. Eh? He could have sworn they were just-----Eeeeeeeeeeek! He had only taken his eyes off of it for a moment, but now it was right behind him and in the form of a skeletal horse! And oh maaan it looked pissed!
He gulped; taking a step back, followed by another and another and continued this process until he was a few feet away. But unfortunately for him, it wasn't enough to calm the creatures anger--nope! Instead it reared back onto it's hind legs and began to charge the moment it's front feet hit the ground!
"Aaaaaaaack! Why is everything chasing me!" He cried and made for the exit as fast as he could. The skeletal horse hot on his heels.
Maze 1! Tybalt 0! XD

The she-wolf had been eying this class ever since she had stumbled upon by chance while exploring the halls. Now she was faced with a...maze? What was this?! Were they supposed to go through the maze without any sort of instructions? That...actually struck at the she-wolf's fancy and held an air of thrill about it. Maybe this would be a very exciting class after all!
Taking a cautious step, LW took the plunge and entered the maze. Her tail stayed curled around her legs as she shuffled through, violet eyes wide and bright with a mixture of curiosity and anxiety. She hoped nothing popped out at her.

Lilwolfpard Roll 1- If you roll a 11-100, you pass and can go on to round two. (RP meeting the below obstacle) Upon entering the maze you meet a tiny little imp, seemingly injured and whining at you for help. The imp is green in color and maybe only 2 feet tall. It is thin and looks as if they have a splinter in their foot. (If you roll a 11-100 you can do whatever you like, help or not, and you still pass. If you roll a 1-10... well helping it or not it will turn on you and chase you out of the maze.) LW hear an awful sound that hurt her ears and made her tail curl uncomfortable. What the Jack was that?! She inched around through the maze, following the whining sound until she stumbled upon something that was small and green in color. It looked vaguely familiar, like something she'd seen in a book maybe? Whatever the creature was, it was complaining about something.
"What's that?" She knelt down to peer at the foot that was causing all the commotion. Narrowing her eyes, she finally spotted what appeared to be a splinter. "Oooooh." LW quickly plucked the splinter from the small things foot and stood up with a grin. There! Her good deed for the day.
"There ya go, little dude." Winking at it, she started her trek through the maze again. That wasn't so bad! Maybe she wouldn't run into anything really scary after all.

Lilwolfpard Roll 2- If you roll a 26-100, you pass and can go on to round three. (RP meeting the below obstacle) Awwh you made it past the little imp with no troubles! You should feel high on life (even if your hearing weird noises all around you that sound like things that want to eat you.) Walking further along something blocks your pathway. It is large and...reminds you oddly of some huge stoney bolder. Only this one moves. It tells you that in order to get past you need to tell it a story or a riddle.. and if it approves it will let you pass. ( if you roll a 26-100 it will like your story and let you pass. If you roll a 1-25 though... well it will not like your story and your stuck in the first part of the maze, only to be chased out by something else. ) With each step farther she took from where the imp had been, the she-wolf felt the hair at the back of her neck stand on end. There were lots and lots of noises out there. Several of which sounded like something that could eat her. LW had no wish to get eaten, thank you! She glanced behind her, hearing another sound. When she looked forward again there was...something in her path. Candlejack! Where had that come from?!
"You...uh, want me to what?" A story? Or a riddle? Oh crap. She didn't know any riddles off the top of her head. Maybe a story? Swallowing, she gave it her best attempt.
"There once was this little ghoul who took a walk through the woods~"

Alright so apparently her story telling skills weren't that bad after all. She slipped past the massive rock like creature and continued to shuffle through the maze. Several steps later a deep rumbling made her squeak and look all around. Something caught her eye on the other side of the foliage. Was it a ghost? The she-wolf stood frozen as the rumbling continued and seemed to increase. What if it made it around to her side?!
She didn't have much time to dwell on that thought as the creature did in fact make it around to her side. With a yelp, the she-wolf booked it the other way, tail all but tucked between her legs. That was one scary creature and she did not want to find out what happened if it caught her. So busy running, she never realized she'd exited the maze until she was well on her way back to her dorm.

A maze. A maze. He knew stories about mazes. They ended in two ways. Death, or, some kind of epic awesome price like treasure or a ghouldfriend. Israfel was fine without the ghoulfriend, (he had a few already) but he did like shinies, and he liked the idea of some sort of treasure. Yet...And Imp was in his way. "Uh." It was hurt. Looking at the imp, then at the entrance, then at his ball of string...He recalled the dozen or so stories his great-gram told him. Helping other would always be good in the end, right?

The imp thanked Israfel and let him on his way, where he kept letting the string to guide him...that was how the story went right? Israfel wondered if there was a minotaur in the maze. He'd never met one. He wondered if they would like picked fingers!
Lost in his thoughts, Israfel walked face first into a stone wall. The wall wanted a riddle. "A riddle?" "It nodded." "Um..." Crap. He wasn't a sphinx! How was he supposed to know a riddl- oh he could give a story? A smile split on the Siren's face, as he began his favorite tale. "The isle of the sirens and the stupid humans who sailed by'.

Day dreaming of meeting up with a minotaur, Israfel squawked as he noticed a flash of red and white. Something...wasn't right. And he was sure string would not save him.

ITS WAS THE HOUNDS. BREK'S HOUNDS.
"FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" Screeching, Israfel followed his trail of string out of the maze and all the way back to his dorm.
He was so going to break into Brek's shed. He totally was.

Upon entering the maze, Tess wasn't surprised to find something inside it. After trying to meet the groundskeeper (several times and unsuccessfully at that!), Tess had come to expect there lurked many creatures within the school's grounds. She looked closer, and saw it was an imp with what appeared to be a splinter in its foot. The winged vampire had to sympathize, even if she didn't have legs of her own, the poor thing looked very uncomfortable. So she lowered herself down and tried to coo at it to stay calm while she tried to see what she could do.

She managed to pluck the splinter from the imp's foot, and gave it a pat on the head before she went on her way. Or rather, she tried to continue on her way, until she came across a wall.
A moving wall.
A moving wall that talked. Tess seemed nonplussed by this revelation. There were weirder things in Amityville after all.
Oh but wait, it was a moving wall that wanted her to tell it a riddle or a story. Okay, that stumped her some.

In fact, it had stumped her so much she continued to stare dumbly up at the wall until. Until. Until she heard something.
Something echoing along the walls. Whatever it was, it sounded horrible and filled her with a gut-wrenching (figuratively at this point in Tess' unlife) dread that made her not want to stick around to find out what was making it.
Who knew siren screams could last that long?
