 « Left to right: Torithyn “LuLu/Tori”, Yue and Eric “Phantom” Phantomen » “ You smell like Eric,” Torithyn, the brown haired youth wearing the medical mask with a red sharpie colored X across it, stated rather bluntly as he briefly glanced at the fancily dressed girl. He then crossed his arms over his chest and stretched his legs out in front of him. “ It's probably left over from when he dropped us off here so he could go to gym,” Yue retorted before checking the medical mask to be sure it was held in place. “ It's fine and it's definitely attached to her. Looks like big bro did what he usually does; help others,” Torithyn growled back, his eyes flashing a bright red-orange around the edges of his irises for a second. Yue flicked him on the forehead before sitting back down on the opposite side of him. “ Turn off your animal instincts right now or I'll leave you to your own devices. I'm not your babysitter.” {( Out.Of. Concertos: ~ )}

_____________Cause you know it don't matter anyway You can rely on the old mans money_____________ You can rely on the old mans money!_____________________________________ "Do I?" Laini asked just as bluntly turning to face the masked member of what she now dubbed 'the mist bro's'. She tilted her head slightly only too aware of the locket that dangled below it."He fixed my locket for me" stated Laini matter of factly. He is a nice guy, she thought but god forbid she make it a habit of openly complimenting people. The mist bro's were a strange bunch deduced Laini... but strange was better than normal... or at least more entertaining. "Well you guys certainly put the fun in disfunctional" she teased. Maybe manners class wouldn't be so boring after all.

Instantly noticing the cynical tone in her voice he smirked. Sure, as much as one can like something that looked like mount pepto bismol erupted all over it. I said in a cold and cruel voice that i used with criminals when working with my father. Thanks anyways, and here I thought class would be boring.Feel free to check out this book i'm reading..it's fascinating. -shows cover the title is a hundred ways to kill your enemies- -puts it down and turns to look back at the notebook he was taking notes in.-

She found herself somewhat startled by the amount of coldness in his voice, maybe Mr.Bookish wasn't what he seemed either. Casually she picked up the book he ad been reading and scanned through it. To her dismay 100 Ways to Kill Your Enemies came with pictures. She abruptly closed the book only to see the strange boy run out of the room. "You forgot your...book" She said, her voice trailing off slowly.

 « Left to right: Torithyn “LuLu/Tori”, Yue and Eric “Phantom” Phantomen » “ Wouldn't have mentioned it if I hadn't have noticed it. A broken locket being fixed sounds like something he'd do. LuLu Phantomen, the youngest brother, and this lout being a jerk is Yue, my older brother and Eric's younger brother,” Torithyn smiled lightly under his mask before sliding out of his desk and picking the book up away from the girl. He started flipping through the pages relatively quickly before letting out a soft sigh and snapping it shut again. “ He'll notice it's gone and come back for it after his work is done. It's human nature...” “ Sit back down, LuLu. I don't need you to stir up your instincts again let alone for you to bite someone again,” Yue grumbled from where he sat only for the younger male to sit on the desk beside Laini with the same childish eyes that didn't seem to match how old he looked yet seemed partly hungry. “ These are child's play... The techniques in this book that is. They apparently don't know how to deal with the supernatural like my brothers and I,” Torithyn murmured softly while running his fingers down the spine of the book. He bit back the words of having done far different methods alongside the ways written in the book centuries ago due to Yue's dark glare. “ That would be my opinion in the very least... Saw different methods on tv once.” {( Out.Of. Concertos: ~ )}

Laini ached a disbelieving eyebrow,choosing to ignore Yue's earlier remark about biting people. "You know if I hadn't just met you I would think you were speaking from experience." Casting a wry grin in LuLu's direction she continued "but then again... what would I know?"Her steely eyes returned to Mr.Bookish, if she could really call him that any more, as he entered the room. She wasn't too surprised when he incinerated the book with his bare hands, Laini had seen way too many weird things recently to let much shock her.

- He smiles at the girl from before, looking at her with a blue flame in his orange eyes. I want thank you for the conversation human. My name is Ryujin.. an ancient dragon entrapped in human flesh by foolish monks who sought to control me. I am also the adopted son of the police chief, So forgive me if i seem droll but i am not happy these days. he whispers to her he then gathers his belongings and prepares to leave for his next class.

 « Left to right: Torithyn “LuLu/Tori”, Yue and Eric “Phantom” Phantomen » “ Must not have been a very popular ancient dragon 'cause I've never heard of you and you're not exactly mentioned in any of our history books,” Torithyn snickered lightly before shaking his head slightly as if to answer the female's question. “ Not really. Never really cared much for television.” “ LuLu, hush,” Yue growled irritably from where he sat only to slide his chair back when Torithyn flicked him off. “ It is experience in all actuality. I was eight and participating in a war that humans have no knowledge of. Technically, humans are centuries behind the original beings who lived here before them; the fey folk, the phantoms, the demons... There's so much they could learn yet they want to trap us and dissect us with greedy thoughts in their heads. Again, personal experience. They made the mistake of trying to dissect me,” the brown haired male hummed rather calmly only for his head to snap sideways from the greyish haired male punching him. “ I said to shut up, Tori. This is why I want to drag Eric away and just leave you on your own. If only that damnable thing had killed you, we wouldn't be in this mess,” Yue stated icily only for Torithyn to return his gaze back to Laini. The only difference was his childish gaze had become relatively hollow. “ I know, Yue... It was my fault father was captured by the vampires and tortured to death... It was my fault our homeland is now a desolate wasteland... Everything is my fault...” His voice came out in the same hollow tone as his gaze before he blinked and the childish gleam returned to his eyes. {( Out.Of. Concertos: ~ )}

_____________Cause you know it don't matter anyway You can rely on the old mans money_____________ You can rely on the old mans money!_____________________________________ Laini's eyes flickered from one speaker to another trying to piece together a broken and very strange story. Why did people always feel so inclined to tell her... things? She hated it, not the knowing really but the expectation that afterwords shared secrets would make them closer. People should know better than to tell me there stories, she thought absent mindedly. But what a story it was. She felt sorry for them... and Laini never felt sorry for anyone. Inadvertently she pushed a thought into LuLu's mind, 'It's not all your fault, its not all your fault' she met his childish gaze with her steely eyes repeating the phrase until she knew he would start to believe it. It's not like I'm doing anything nice... I just owe his brother, she justified her actions while breaking eye contact praying her little mind control stint wasn't detectable.

 « Left to right: Torithyn “LuLu/Tori”, Yue and Eric “Phantom” Phantomen » “ But it is my fault, Miss Tudor... If I hadn't have listened to my mother... If I hadn't have been infected... Our father could've focused more on the war... He wouldn't have been captured, he wouldn't be dead, our uncle wouldn't be dead, our aunt wouldn't have been banished and we would still be in our homeland,” Torithyn stated rather calmly before coughing behind his mask and falling through the desk and the floor. He had the bars of the desk sticking through him as if it were natural alongside having his legs completely missing. When he tried pulling himself out of the floor however, he remained stuck like that. “ Again? You're stuck again?” Yue groaned before starting to examine how badly his younger brother was stuck. “ I'm sorry that I didn't pay attention in phasing classes and have instability between Project X infecting me and my natural phantom genetics. Just pull me out. These bars are uncomfortable in my kidney,” Torithyn huffed before glancing back up at Laini. He'd heard her trying to influence him to think everything wasn't his fault, but she'd probably heard that deep unintelligible growl when she did so. Due to his genetics being unstabilized by his "illness", most things didn't work on him. Yue and Eric had figured that out when they had to pull a distorted pole from his torso. {( Out.Of. _____________Cause you know it don't matter anyway You can rely on the old mans money_____________ You can rely on the old mans money!_____________________________________ Laini's eyes widened in response to LuLu's missing legs. "Umm..." she blinked once-twice- and found herself, for once, at a loss. From the reactions of both boys she deduced that the disappearing act was a frequent occurrence, one she didn't think she could ever get used to. "Your legs" she murmured a bit dully at last. Although her eyes lay fixed on the empty space that had once contained legs her mind was far off, gears spinning furiously. Project X? Infections? And to top it off a purely macabre childhood stored in minds she couldn't even reach.
