 JayceeJaycee's eyes shifted up to Ezkayl as he spoke and looked at her. She didn't realize how close she was to him until then. Feeling a soft but firm nuzzle against her, leg, she jumped back with a little squeak, falling on her butt to look at the cute little guy. She watched the curious little one come towards again. Holding out her hand to let him sniff her as Ezkayl sat down. She wasn't sure what to think with cats about the same size as herself at the age of 16. She had never seen cats so big. Pressing herself to a tree, she let them do what they wanted as long as they didn't crawl into her lap.

EzkaylEzkayl sat petting the cat in his lap as his Mom layed down behind him curled around him and the largest cat went over and laid next to Jaycee nudging her hand gently while the younger cat laid down with it's head in her lap "you were saying something before we were interuptted?" he looked at her curiously for a moment "i think it was to do with living arrangements"he smiled politely but inside he felt himself sinking feeling sure that she would say she wanted to stay away from him.

JayceeJaycee was shaking some in fright as the largest cat nudges her hand. A small sound came from her throat, not seeing him come up to her. Her hand shaking, she ran it up his snout and scratch some behind the ears. He was soft and he didn't hurt her, so she relaxed. Looking down at the little one that put his head in her lap. Her other hand hesitantly went to his head, scratching his ears as well. With a slight frown, she looked up at Ezkayl. She wasn't going to tell him that she wanted to be that far from him. And she especially didn't want to say it in front of his family. "I was saying I would stay in the manor and I will stay out of your room," she said softly.

EzkaylRelief spread through him as she spoke he didn't want her to be far away from him he really did care about her he was just going to have to keep those feelings to himself "it's starting to get dark we best get back to the manor" he gently pushed the cat off his lap and walked over to Jaycee and moved the cat out of her lap "i'm getting pretty hungry actually dinner should just about be ready" he reached down and helped her up then started back towards the manor.

JayceeShe nodded at him and let him move the cats from her lap. Taking his hand, she stood, her stomach agreeing that food sounded more than an amazing thought. Patting the larger cat on the head, she headed on ahead of Ezkayl. She wasn't sure if he wanted to say anything or anything like that to his family. Walking slowly back to the manor, she looked up at the sky, the pattern the trees made making her think of something she had graffitied on the side of a wall once. A wonderful celtic knot design. She never got caught for it either and to her knowledge, it was never removed or painted over. Looking back over her shoulder for Ezkayl, she decided to stop and wait.

EzkaylEzkayl did in fact stop to talk to his family before following after Jaycee "when did you guys come here did you follow me? i'm happy to see you but you should have let me know you were here, anyway i have to go but i will come back and see you soon" he hugged his "mom" one last time then started jogging after Jaycee making his way through the trees at a reasonable pace turning momentarily to look back before colliding with Jaycee knocking her down and falling down on top of her stunned Ezkayl didn't move barely aware that their faces were no more than two inches apart.

Jaycee Jaycee just stared up at the tree covered sky and sighed. She wondered for a moment what it would be like to fly. Laughing a little to herself, she started walking again, not realizing just how turned around she got. To her complete surprise while she wasn't listening or paying attention to her surroundings, she found herself colliding with Ezkayl, falling back to look up at him on top of her. Not knowing what to say or do, she just stared for what seemed like forever before a blush formed on her cheeks and she turned her head to the side trying to hide it. "S...sorry," she said softly. "I didn't see you."

EzkaylEzkayl laid there for a second wondering wether or not to kiss her until she turned her face he scrambled off her quickly "i'm so sorry that was so clumsy of me i should have been paying attention" he said trying to hide behind nothing then trying to help her up without getting too close "it's getting dark it's about dinner time let's get back" he said trying to avoid eye contact and after making sure she was ok he started back towards the manor.

JayceeShe took his hand, letting him help her up. She wasn't sure what to say, so she just nodded. She watched him head back towards the manor, and fell in step beside him. She looking up at the sky for a moment, watching it gradually get darker. Shifting her eyes to him, she tilted her head. "Tell me about this business you inherited. And the family that gave it to you?" She asked him, rather to be talking then let the silence take over.

EzkaylEzkayl looked at Jaycee thoughtfully "well i guess if ou're going to stay with me you should know the places goings on" he looked up to the sky as he continued "Mikon Inc is a company dedicated to designing producing and supplying differently abled people with items to assist them with their difficulties ranging for sight imparments to mobility issues and pretty much all disabilities, as for the family that left it to me, well i don't know they abandoned me at birth for most of my life i believed those cats really were my family so there is not much i can say besides what i've been told" As his words trailed off they reached the back steps of the house and he climbed the stairs then turned to Jaycee next to him and in the dwindling daylight he looked into her eyes her yellow one shining like the morning sun and the teal one a crystal lake "Jaycee, i'm sorry but i need to ask you this because i don't know if i can stop myself otherwise, can i kiss you?' before he had even finished saying it he felt his stomache drop, He knew he was going to regret that.

JayceeJaycee nodded as he spoke, listening to what he did for a living now and what the family he never knew he had had left him. "That is a very good company," she said. She had never heard of it, but it was a company that did good things for people. "Well I am glad that someone raised you... Otherwise I would probably still be in that shop or in the hands of someone who truly wanted a slave." As they approached the steps up to the manor, he stopped and looked at her, her nerves and cautious little buzzers went off in her head. Looking up at him as he asked her if he could kiss her. Her mouth nearly dropped open. They just had a conversation about being so close and now he wanted to kiss her. She didn't know what to say with her heart pounding in her ears and a slight blush popping up along her cheeks. She didn't answer him, just looked at him and waited to see if he would do it anyways or wait for an answer.

EzkaylEzkayl waited for her response "why, why did i do that i've gotta walk away now" he thought, shuddering slightly he managed to tear his eyes away from hers and turn to walk into the house "i'm so sorry i don't know what came over me" he started to walk back into the house before he turned to look a the base of the stairs "mom did you follow us here" he walked back down the steps and petted her then noticed the rest of his family a short distance away he walked over and hugged them too apparently satisfied the cats walked away and back over into the woods Ezkayl turn back to the manor and back up the stairs casting only a tiny glance in Jaycee's direction "oh how i wish i could" he thought as he started to open the door.

JayceeJaycee was speechless still. She didn't know what to say or do. The question was completely random considering the conversation they just had. She watched him turn to walk inside and as she was about to speak, he turned to walk back down, hugging his family and heading back inside. As he opened the door, she ran up the steps to him, quickly kissing his cheek and running inside to slip into a random room, though turning about it turned out to be the library.

EzkaylEzkayl stopped dead in his tracks as she kissed his cheek her lips were so soft against his skin before he even realized he wasn't moving she had disappeared "should i go and find her?" he thought before thinking better of it and walking in no particular direction at all wandering aimlessly through the house eventually coming back to his own room. Sitting down on the edge of his bed he gazed blankly out of his window "she didn't even kiss me on the lips and yet i feel so strange" he he let himself drop back onto the bed and closed his eyes thinking of that moment her lips had come in contact with his cheek.

JayceeTaking a seat in one of the soft chairs, she pulled her feet up and leaned sideways against the back. She sighed softly and shook her head. She had been here not even two days and already she was getting comfortable around him. Even after running off crying she still warmed up to him quickly. She knew not what to do with it all. She's angry and rebellious one moment, then he starts talking and she melts. She yells and runs off then he shows up and she warms up again. Her stomach growled violently and she remembered she still hadn't eaten anything. Sliding back out of the chair, she peeked out of the library, sneaking out and down the hall to the kitchens.
