Oh snap, Dacj was getting serious now and throwing multiple at once. The cheetah Hyte prepared himself to dodge, but thankfully the balloon that would have been coming toward him exploded on the kraken Hyte instead. He breathed a sigh of relief and aimed yet another balloon her way. His aim was still off though.
Elf squeaked and dodged to the side, but thankfully she was not hit. Clearly though a tentacle monster was not a good thing to be up against in a fight.

Deciding to have a bit of fun, elf grabbed the nearest water balloon and tossed it Missy's way. She would be in trouble if it hit, but it would be a fun trouble for sure.
Ah, it was just shy of hitting. Made for a lovely splash though. "Whoopsie~ ^-^"

Melisande snorted at the sight of the kraken--of course she'd take advantage of her limbs--but then she was too busy worrying about trying to duck...trying, and failing. She almost couldn't be angry at the kraken, the way she was standing there, deer-in-the-headlights. She shook her head, sending water flying out of her wet hair--only to get splashed by a balloon from the sole human on the roof. "Oi, you wanna play that game..."
Mena was wondering if elf maybe had the right idea of it after all when Dacj sent a balloon curling her way--and getting her long hair even more wet. Off to the car for a ponytail holder or six (she was thinking buns might be the most effective method of corralling her hair), then perhaps up to the roof...
The splash from Seth's next hit drew the kraken back to reality, and she wiggled away from the cheetah with a grin. "Hey now, I'm not done with you yet!" she called, sending a water balloon his way.

Seth ducked out of the way, but it seemed that it wasn't much needed. "The battle has only just begun!" he called back, grabbing another balloon and keeping on the move. He's take aim when there was an opening.
Missy's throw succeeded in splashing her, but elf only grinned cheerily. "Nice try. care to give it another shot?" Why she was taunting the pig, one could only speculate really. The results should prove interesting though.

Again Seth took aim and again he missed hitting her directly. The cheetah Hyte really needed to work on his throwing skills. At least he could evade well enough. Most of the time. When he was actually paying attention.

Dacj had not previously conceived of the incidental benefits of drenching everyone, and was rather enjoying herself now. Keeping a wary eye on Seth, who sent another balloon splashing her way, she reminded herself she was watching him solely for self-defense purposes. Uh huh. No ulterior motives whatsoever.
It was really sad when you couldn't even lie to yourself, she thought wryly, returning a balloon volley at Seth.

Missy had all but readied her return fire when she paused, gaping at the elevator door.
Mena strode out, picked up a balloon, and sent it flying towards elf, with perfect aim. "Show the whippersnappers indeed," she said, with a smug grin.

Seth didn't bother trying to dodge the splash this time (since he was already quite wet as it was) and instead threw a return volly at Dacj. "I'll hit you someday!" he said with a laugh. Maybe not today, but someday.
Ow... Elf sputtered and laughed after being completely and utterly drenched by Mena. "That's the spirit!" she said with a grin, looking about for more water balloons. Hm, they'd be short soon if she didn't start filling more. "You get the kids, I'll fill up some more balloons right quick." It wouldn't take very long. She had her ways.

"I think we have bigger problems," Dacj said, scooting towards Seth like she was contemplating using him as a shield again as she glanced back at her mother. "Truce?" she offered.
Mena picked up another balloon, nodded towards elf, and then aimed for Melisande, nonchalant. Unfortunately, nonchalance seemed to mean failure.
"Not so easy now that you are up here with the rest of us poor aiming souls, now is it?" Missy asked, taunting.

At seeing how perfectly Mena had targeted his mother, Seth was inclined to agree. "Truce," he agreed. "But just for now. Shall we?" grabbing up another balloon, he threw it straight for the feline Hyte.
Finally! A hit! Was his curse perhaps lifting?

Mena took the hit with grace, tucking wet tendrils of hair behind her ear as she turned her eyes on Dacj and Seth. "Throw water on me all you like, I'm a cat that likes swimming," she said, making a flourishy bow that was in fact a pretense to pick up a balloon, which she then aimed at Seth.

"Mmm~" Dacj agreed, lobbing a balloon of her own at her mother. All it did was splash, but it was something! And she hadn't entirely missed.

Seth attempted to move out of the way of the splash, but his water-soaked jeans kept him from being able to fully evade it. "True enough, although by this point whether or not we like water is irrelevant," he replied with a smile.
