When she felt Conner arm around her waist, she didn't fight back, because she didn't oppose it. She turned around, slowly due to the fact that she could still fall, and wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned in to kiss him.
She wondered why would she ever like Arete when Conner was there. Sure Arete was okay, but he lacked a few things a man should have. But she quickly too kit out of her mind, why would she think about Arete when she was kissing Conner? Soon, however, her thoughts were silenced as she dove deeper into the kiss.

Conner woke up a while later, but a different mind possessed him now. "W-What?" He muttered in a voice different from his own when he looked at his surroundings, which made him pause before looking down at himself "WHAT?" Kora made her way all the way to the top of the sacred tree, climbing wasn't a problem with her using her wind element. She look down below, eying all the people as she can see the whole city as once and more. She can see the Cafe that was once burned down but quickly rebuilt. She wonder how someone even got into her city. The roots weren't aloud to let anyone in if plan anything like this. Could they fly over the roots? At the moment, she doesn't see any people that seam out of place. She knows all the citizens, but she notice some that are outsiders. Differently not part of Kusana. Maybe the criminal is still here. She'll just have to question each of these person to find out. Kora start off the closes one, headed down the tree down all the way to the office.

"Whoop! Whooopsy daisy~" The Queen made silly sounds as she jump up to each branch by branch. Using some of her wind element skills, she sprinted high in the air to landed the large branch, only to continue with the next one. Landing on her feet and using her hands to caught her balance, she climb up to the sky until she's reached a level with good enough view of the city. Any higher and she might as will be up in the heavens above the clouds. The great Highwind tree is such a large tree that no one could really spotted her right away from the mere of taking in the whole vision of the tree. It's almost harder to be found in this tree than in the vast forest, but the hidden spots have thinned with the number of leaves falling down.
The nun sat down on the branch, viewing down the Kusana city and the forest of trees with a graceful sigh. It was nice seeing everything at once. Everything is intertwine with nature and they citizens are happy. That's all she every wanted. "Let's see. The food will be served there... The games will be over there... That area really needed to be tidy up..." She eye around as she think out the plans for the Fall Festival. Even in a odd position she is in, she really wanted to do a festival in her city, any festival would do. Anything to lighten up the city after that Cafe attack.

He climbed up and up and up with his bare hands being desperate even when he could bend nature to his very will. After a while of climbing, he sat down on a very high branch only to see the blonde haired woman he sought, "Kora". He called out to her "Miss?! Are you Kora?" he was a bit far away and with very new clothing, but his green mysterious eyes never changed.

Kora turn her head, hearing someone calling out to her. Glazing down, she spotted the lone man climbing the same tree as she. "Yes, that's me." She replied. Shifting her legs, she slid off the branch she was sitting on to landed on the lower branch below her. "Do you need me for something, sir?" She said in a friendly tone as she approach closer to him for better look from the distant they are in the tree. Kora couldn't tell who this person is. Ether from how thin her memory is or ether how bad her eyes have gotten. His appearance is indeed familiar to her, but did not let it fazed her as it must be the feeling she have seen many people before.
She was about to open her mouth, suggested that if he would like to talk down at the bottom of the tree, until something around his neck caught her attention. She came closer to him, standing on the large branch with out the fear of falling off. "Your neckless... Were did you get that from?" Her voice now a bit concern as she had now seen a better look at it. Her eyesight may not the best, but she knows that cross anywhere, for she was the one that have it made. She personally gave it to someone as a gift long ago.

He hadn't even realized he was wearing a necklace when he got back, or that he had a ring which was broken to sand now. He looked down at it, and then straight into her eyes, and then said "I don't know where I got it. I kind of got back with it. This tree... it spoke to me. It told me you are the one I seek for answers. It told me that you remember me. I don't remember much of anything from my past, but you do seem familiar. I am... Makyo Nagareboshi."
After having introduced himself, a small breeze seemed to pick up for that little second. He tried very hard to remember her, but all he could remember was the beautiful blonde hair, and those eyes of hers. He didn't recall their past or anything else.

Kroa's eyes wide open like dishes plate from the mentioning of his name. "T-That can't be! Mayko is dead, years ago!" Taking a few step back, cautions that this guy must be a shapshifter that is only playing as someone she knew just to get close to her. But that necklace, a shapshifter couldn't possibly made a complete replica of it. And not to mention that he spoke with the tree, that Makyo is the only one can could it. "It couldn't be. His body was burned away to a crisp! I saw it before my eyes. Everything was burned away! Nothing left for me to even revive him." Now that she thinks about it, her head was getting a little hot too. Her vision began to get fuzzy. "O-oh my..." She held her head. Legs suddenly felt weak, then quickly gave away as Kora fainted from over excitement. Going completely limp, she's at the mercy of gravity pulling her down from the tree and falling down to her doom.

The Master of Nature took him over as one and vines, branches, and leaves formed together to catch her softly and lift her upjust enough to get to the thick branch where Makyo stood now. He didn't have time to think about what she had just said when he activated his incredible power to bend nature to his will.
He then crouched with one knee on the ground like a true soldier, and closed his eyes to try and remember. Nothing came to him. Nothing really came back as a blast from the past. She knew him though, and knew what happened to him. He whispered to himself while she lay about 1 foot next to her "So that's how I died...? Perhaps? Or maybe I was burned away post mortem? How many years has it been? I wonder..." He then faced her just looking at her and analyzing if she was alright.
After a while of staying there, he lifted his right hand up to control the sort-of-bed that the vines and leaves made for him and bring her into his arms while he stood up. He then tried calling to her "Lady Kora? Lady Kora? Are you alright?" He needed to check if she was alright first before he could ask her any further questions, or get any answers whatsoever. he made sure he didn't apply too much pressure when he held her, so she didn't feel discomfort. His green eyes just tried to look for her and care for her, even when he had no memory of her. Just a name, the eyes, and her blonde hair.

Kora open her eyes, forcing herself out to awake her random black out. Only just notice Mayko there holding her into his arms. Looking directly up to his green eyes, she suddenly wrapped her arms around his neck to a big embrace. "Oh Mayko... It's really you! I couldn't believe you're alive, but here you are! I'm so happy! Srin would be over joyed of your return." She hugged him tightly with over enjoyment in her voice. How she fainted was just from over surprised of his return.
