❝I'm a walking disaster❞ ✖Salem continued to look in the mirrors above him in the ballroom. He poked and prodded his stomach, lifting his shirt and furthering the madness. Then, as if triggered by something, music began playing. He looked around frantically, "Who's there?!" The music continued and got louder. But he began to recognize it...it was a waltz. Why a waltz? What in the world? And then as if they had formed from the dust, human figured sprang up all around him, they were dancing. Waltzing to be exact. They ignored his presence, and some danced right through him. This whole night was blowing a million holes into his refusal to believe in the paranormal.
He couldn't stand it anymore! The music was absolutely maddening, and the ghostly figured were becoming more and more entrancing. He had to get out of this room, before he went absolutely insane. He rushed back out the two large doors he had entered through and slammed them shut. Immediately, the music stopped and the room went dark.
The sableye pressed his back against the wall of the hall he was in, trying to process what had just occurred. He slid down the wall, closing his eyes. He just sat there on the floor. "This has got to all just be a bad trip," he said, his hand instinctively running over the black packet in his hoodie pocket. Perhaps the drugs could come to the rescue, and numb him to this house and his inability to find the exit. ✖

"A trickster's smile" The Haunter had started wandering around at some point, having lost sight of the 'ghostly figure' he was following around the halls. But, at some point, he heard music playing, tilting his head curiously before starting to walk towards the direction it was coming from. It was pretty close, and unexpected, and he didn't have much else to do with his time, especially since he couldn't find the Rattata he had arrived with. So, he followed the distant sound, drawing closer and closer, until the music was quite loud. But, it suddenly stopped with the sound of a door slamming, and his red eyes eventually fell onto a Sableye sitting against a wall. He stayed out of sight, in the shadows, and merely watched for a few minutes before he decided to head over, curiosity getting the better of him, as usual.
Shin replayed the music he had heard in his mind, raising his arms up into a dancing position before doing a 'mock' sort of waltz over to the disturbed looking Sableye while singing it. He waltzed a bit more before doing a spin and stopping in front of the man, leaning down a bit as he spoke. "You didn't enjoy the music? I thought it was rather catchy," he teased, a playful smirk on his face. He hadn't been the reason the music played, but 'supernatural' things never really got under his skin. Rather, he found them to be curious and interesting, and sometimes rather 'fun' and 'amusing'. But, such was his taste in 'humor' and 'fun'.

❝I'm a walking disaster❞ ✖Salem sat there, still for a moment before a voice was coming at him from down the hall. At first he assumed it was another apparition and he jumped up, obviously spooked. But upon closer inspection it was a haunter. He was singing the tune of the waltz that had just given Salem quite a scare, and dancing. The sableye watched him with a slight smile now playing on his lips. This boy seemed to almost be making fun of him.
Salem thought this more after he spoke of the music. "It scared the s**t out of me, to be quite ******** honest," Salem said with an embarrassed chuckle. He always seemed to use swear words more when he was jittery. And he was definitely jittery. He couldn't get his hands to stop shaking or his heart to stop racing, this house seemed to have some serious problems. He looked down at his shaking hands then back at the Haunter. "Don't laugh, okay?" he said, half joking half serious. It was all pretty embarrassing, he felt like a frightened child.
"You wouldn't happen to know the way out of here, would you?" he inquired, looking both ways down the hallway. He wasn't sure which way he had even come from at this point, his mind was a mess.✖

ʆʊӎɩеɳțе ┏━━━━━━━━━┓ Before Lumiente could even digest what Aefes had said, his lips were stolen from his. Between the heat Aefes was giving off and the heat from the fire, Lumiente felt himself give. Boys turned him on and Aefes was doing a good job. Deeping the kiss, Lumiente took Aefes' hands off his and took control. Hm...haven't kissed a guy in years. Lumiente started to think more but it was all lost in what he was doing with Aefes. Before he got any further, a voice yelled at him from his mind Don't do this!! You barely know the guy! Are you just going to give yourself up...in a haunted house? Shocked at his own animal insticts, Lumiente removed his hands from Aefes' body and quickly removed him.
"Lo siento! Lo siento! I shouldn't of let myself get ahead. I'm really sorry but I can't do that. I barely know you and and I can't be discovered!" Lumiente blurted out completely ashamed of himself. If he didn't give into Aefes' approach, then perhaps he would of blamed Aefes' sexual nature for what happened but his reaction just made it worse. Somehow this little boy was completely revealing the side of him he didn't want anyone to know anymore. Not even noticing the slip of his own worse secret, Lumiente walked over to the fire and sat down. Somehow, always sitting in front of fire always calmed him down, completely. He hoped Aefes would leave him alone to sulk or perhaps just forget he existed because right now, he hoped he did too.

"A trickster's smile" Even though he was requested not to, Shin couldn't help chuckling quietly to himself, standing straight up as he did. It seemed the Sableye wasn't one for 'ghosts' and 'haunted houses', which made him curious as to why he was even there. A thrill maybe? Or perhaps there were more people in the house, it was entirely possible, especially since he'd just run into someone new. Before he could get too into his thoughts, he was asked a question, his attention returning to his 'fellow explorer' of sorts. "A way out? A way out..hmm.." he trailed off, glancing around in thought. "Well, we could always try asking," he proposed, a friendly smile on his face. The Haunter walked over to the doors that the Sableye had closed, gripping the handles and pushing the doors open in a swift motion. "EXCUSE ME. WOULD YOU HAPPEN TO KNOW THE WAY OUT~?" he asked loudly into the now empty room, only to be met by an abrupt gust of wind from out of nowhere with a howl-like sound mixed in. The wind stopped briefly after and Shin closed the doors, ruffling his wind struck hair with a hand. "Well they weren't any help," he mumbled, feigning a pout. "I guess we'll just have to look around for one~" he chimed, doing another playful spin before starting to walk down a hall.
The Haunter paused after a moment, looking back over his shoulder with another friendly smile. "Would you care to join me~?" he asked lightly, waiting for a reply. He'd originally come to the house with someone else, someone that he ended up getting separated from. He wasn't too worried about his 'boss', though, and figured the boy was probably looking for the way out himself since he didn't have much interest in 'events' like these. Shin didn't mind exploring a bit with someone else in the meantime though. Besides, he was a little curious about his new 'acquaintance'. And, maybe the Sableye would be able to give him a bit of fun before he had to leave the house.

Aefes Colim ------------- Aefes was stunned for a moment when the male seemed to go with it, the feeling of his hands touching his skin sent another set of electricity through his body. It wasn't as pleasant as it could have been with Lumi wearing gloves, but that moment seemed all too swift as the hands were removed along with him, leaving him slightly puzzled & soon after frustrated. This night was just getting worse, & he wasn't taking too kindly to it with his hormones being shoved onto hold. At this point he didn't care what he'd even said in spanish, & like a child threw a mini tantrum as he slammed his hands down on the floor & stood up stomping the short distance to the couch & plopped himself onto it legnth wise facing his back to the outside with his arms crossed & pout on his face twisted with an angry expression. He gave up, at least for now, he was too frustrated to feel anything else & knew if he tried anything on the Magmortar now, it'd probably end up being rape with how frustrated he was, & Aefes wasn't like that. He may be a horny dog & all, or rather a fish, but he didn't take someone by force unless he knew they'd give into him 'cause they really wanted it too.
Honestly, he had no idea what to do with his frustration right now, but he was lost as to why he kept getting turned away & immediately started to assume that maybe he wasn't as attractive as he thought he was. It was the only explaination he could really come up with, that or he was just being too open, & he didn't know what to do about that since he didn't know how to be conservative. His frustration slowly died down into depression & he pulled his legs closer to his own body to hug them close. At this point he didn't care for anything, he didn't care for any paranormal things nor bothering to do anything, he'd just stay the night here & go to sleep to end this night sooner & rid of his raging hormones. Well, he would have anyway if it wasn't for the fact a door form the room creaked open more, & a few seconds after it slammed shut, simoultaneously the fire was blown out & everything remained quiet after for a mere 10 seconds before creaking noises were heard in the sound of heavy, slow footsteps on the other side of the room. It wasn't exactly bothering him any since it didn't seem like he was going to be harmed, but he did think of how the other male might be completely freaked out right now so he sat up the right way on the couch looking in the direction of the Magmortar, but wasn't sure what to say to him, or what to say at all.

❝I'm a walking disaster❞ ✖Salem couldn't help but laugh once more as the Haunter called out to those now disappeared apparitions. It would be obvious that they wouldn't respond. This man seemed to have a very childish nature and that was calming for Salem. Salem often had childish moments himself, but he was in no mood right now. Right now his nerves were shot and all he could think about was getting out of here, and if the Haunter could help him then that would be even better because he wasn't hard to look at.
Salem followed him down the hall quickly, so as not to lose sight of him. In this house, one could easily just seem to disappear. Salem had learned that much. It was strange to him, how he'd ended up here this night. He was certainly starting to see the problem with sex only relationships, especially when they exited the bedroom and went to....haunted houses? His mind couldn't settle. He looked once more at his new companion, who seemed very at home in this setting. And of course, he was a Haunter gijinka so it did make quite a bit of sense.
The sableye squinted at him in the dull lighting, "So....why did you come here?" he asked curiously. He was beginning to wonder why anyone would come here. It was a place made from a nightmare, in his opinion. ✖

·» »-(¯`v´¯)-» C h o u m o Nyj ❥ Why was she here again? Oh yea, a dare. Right now she was anything but comfortable, but couldn't blame anyone but herself for actually going through with it. The blonde found it at least suitable for punishment for actually doing something so dumb, right now she could be at her own apartment with Mao, comfortable & warm where no scary spirits were. But it seemed since she'd gotten lost she wasn't getting out any time now, & quite frankly she was slightly worried whether Mao would be okay on is own for a while. After all it wasn't like her not to be home by nightfall. Her magenta eyes scanned the room, it seemed where she was now looked to be a kitchen but could only tell because of the old food in the cupboards & the stove. The place looked so antique it was hard to tell much of anything else, but it was still lovely even under all that dust & grime. Slowly she made way through the kitchen towards another door way, but walked slowly as she scanned the room, keeping her arms hugged closely to her, thanking herself for actually dressing warmly, like most days she would anyway. She was just about out of the room when a sudden creak caught her attention into stopping in her tracks & a sudden crash of a dish hitting the floor made her spin around quickly with wide eyes, but didn't see anyone there. "H-hello?" The blonde squeaked quietly, drawing her hands ever closer to herself, the room remained quiet after so she decided to go on hoping whatever it was that was there wasn't going to harm her.
After shuffling through rooms & rooms, she disregarded the fact he fuzzy white boots were becoming quite filthy, & she came to a hall & faintly saw a figure in the distance, but with it's coloring she assumed it must be another ghost which made her freeze on spot, staring at it with wide eyes. But what she didn't know was that it was an actual live person, an Absol girl to be specific. ❤❉❤

"A trickster's smile" His eyes glanced over at this new companion as he spoke, blinking a little at the question. "Why?" he asked, as if the answer was obvious, "Because it sounded like fun." Shin grinned a little, though it was probably a bit difficult to see in the dark. But, since they were on the subject of why they came here, he decided to ask the same in return. "You don't seem to like haunted houses. Why did you end up coming here?" he asked, tilting his head curiously. The Sableye really didn't look comfortable in the house, which really kind of amused the Haunter.
Shin's eyes glanced around the walls here and there, looking at portraits, paintings, minor decorations. Whoever lived in the house before it became rundown seemed kind of uptight, similar to some of his own 'business partners' of sorts. If it weren't haunted he'd probably never have come to the place, it would've been too boring otherwise. But, the small bits of 'supernatural activity' were enough to keep him wandering around. If the two of them did find an exit, he'd probably stay a bit longer. Besides, it probably wasn't too good of an idea to leave Taroro behind, he'd probably end up getting yelled at. Again. Not that he didn't find the boy's outbursts amusing.

❝I'm a walking disaster❞ ✖Salem watched as the haunter gave him the response, blinking and all. It seemed an appropriate question to him when he'd asked it, a bit intrusive but he never really cared to be intrusive. It was the quickest way to get to know people and Salem didn't like for anyone to be a stranger for long. He laughed a bit as the question was returned. His reason for coming was very...perverted.
"Well," he began, his eyes shifting around, "honestly, I came to get laid," he said bluntly. It was the truth, he'd never expected for any of this "haunted" stuff to be true. He thought it was all just silly stories that kids told each other at sleep overs to get their friends all riled up.
The sableye had no idea where the two of them were heading now, or if the haunter was any more capable of finding the exit than he was. But so far he was enjoying the company. ✖

"A trickster's smile" Shin couldn't help chuckling lightly at the Sableye's words. They chose a 'haunted house' for that? It wasn't too unusual, he supposed, but not exactly the most common answer. But, because he found the answer to be unique, it only made him more curious. He was usually a bit more sly in how he worded things, but the Sableye didn't seem to mind being blunt. "I take it it didn't pan out too well? I found you alone. Unless, you'd already gone your separate ways~?" he asked, no hint of judgement in his voice. What other people did was their business, Shin just wanted to find out things that interested him. Judgement of that information was strictly rational, feelings about what he learned weren't required. Besides, it seemed as good a time as any to possibly find out how many more people were wandering the house. Perhaps he could 'drop in' at some point and give them a little scare.
The Haunter paused for a moment after hearing a creak, his eyes darting around. "Hmm..." he mumbled quietly to himself, continuing to walk after a moment. He was on the look out for anything strange, anything intriguing. Though, having someone around with him did make it a bit less boring, and he enjoyed the man's company. Usually people were sly around him because of his 'job', having someone be bluntly honest for a change was a nice switch up.

❝I'm a walking disaster❞ ✖Salem sighed. Feeling comfortable for a moment, he let his real thoughts slip out of his mouth. "Sex only relationships never really work out the way I want them to," he said. Yes, even those fun little one night stands with groupies always turned into some awkward fantasy that he didn't want to fulfill. Truthfully, he was terrified of ever having to commit to someone. And he was relatively certain that when he was ready to commit, it wouldn't be to those types of people anyway.
The sableye raised a bony hand to his temples and just massages them for a moment. "This whole house...this whole night, has been ridiculous," he said with a very tired voice. He was too frightened and exhausted to be his usually exciting self. It was these times, the times that he hit lows, that he most wished he could just go home and fall asleep in a drug induced dream. But of course, he still couldn't find that damn exit.
His eyes trailed over the Haunter as he stopped due to some strange noise. He seemed pretty attractive, though Salem was in no mood to try and get anywhere with him. They resumed walking and he couldn't help but ask, "So....is this stuff really your thing? I mean, most people hate stuff like this. Or seek it out then still get afraid," he asked. The curiosity was getting to him. This new companion was definitely strange. ✖

"A trickster's smile" Shin glanced at his companion curiously, raising an eyebrow. But, once again found himself chuckling a little at the man's words, even though he sounded less than amused. From the sounds of it, the 'getting laid' that the Sableye had in mind didn't turn out the way he wanted it to, and on top of that the house seemed to be genuinely haunted. At least, that's what the pieces he was putting together told him, along with his own experiences. But, he kept quiet, letting the man finish his words.
"Since we're telling the truth here," he started, glancing around for a certain staircase he remembered passing at one point, "this place has a similar vibe to where I live sometimes, though it's in a much better and tidier condition, no holes in the walls and cracks everywhere with missing floors." The Haunter's eyes finally landed on what he was looking for, letting out an 'aha' as he started walking over to the staircase that lead two a lower floor. "I'm 'strange', or so I've been told," he added with a little grin, "so I don't find this place all that intimidating, even with the unfriendly residents trying to have their 'fun'. " Shin stopped at the top of the stairs, looking over at his companion again. "No idea what floor we're on, but there's only one way to find out~" he said lightly, moving over to sit on the railing and sliding the rest of the way down.

ʆʊӎɩеɳțе ┏━━━━━━━━━┓ He was such an idiot. Why did he listen to his hormones instead of his head like his sisters always told him. No, today was the one day he didn't and now he might of lost a... he didn't know what Aefes was to him. All he knew was that Aefes and him needed to come to an agreement what they were since Lumiente was not into friends with benefits. Hearing Aefes curl up behind him, Lumeinte felt his heart fall. He felt so guilty but he didn't know what to do. Both of them were so frustrated and yet Lumiente just wouldn't give in. He just couldn't...he barely knew the boy. But he did know that he had to make things up somehow.
He turned to the fire, his sense of comfort, one last time before he turned to talk to Aefes. As he turned, he heard footsteps and the room chill. Turning around, he saw the fire had given out and whatever was approaching was coming at too fast a speed for them to escape. This house is haunted!!! What am I going to do?! Trying to calm his heart, feeling the adrenaline rush, Lumiente went with his gut plan. Instead of trying to run for the door like ever dumb person does in a movie/soap opera, he would instead hid with Aefes and make a break when they could. Turning to Aefes who was looking at him with a confused face, Lumiente sprinted to him, grabbed him, and went behind the couch. Becoming overprotective, Luminente placed Aefes in front of him and wrap his hands around his waist. Just in case the ghost came towards them, he could easily pick the boy bridal style and run out the room. Anticipating danger, Lumiente had them squat down just so they were concealed but still with a clear path of the front door. If push came to shove Lumiente also made sure the window was open. "So what are we dealing with here?" Lumiente whispered as the door continue to squeak open.

Aefes Colim ------------- As he waited for the Magmortar respond in some sort of way, ignoring the quick approaching footsteps now focusing on the other set that took but seconds to reach him & felt a firm grip on his arm which tugged & pulled him behind the couch he was sitting on. Honestly it was a bit hilarious to him, but he tried to stifle his laughter as he felt hands on his waist, & a devious smirk grew once more. He didn't know exactly what this boy was planning, but it seemed quite silly to him much due to the fact he was bothered with the supernatural himself, but it seemed to spook the other. Chuckling softly he leaned back into the Magmortar, once more enjoying the heat that emanated from, heat that seemed much warmer than others & looked up deciding to answer now that he was at close quarters again. "Mmm? You mean the ghost?" After he mentioned it realized the other set of footsteps had seized as well, but how long ago he wasn't sure, & the door creaked back open slowly only to sway back towards closing & repeating. "I don't think it intends any harm, it's merely trying to ward us off. I don't think it much enjoys us being in it's home." Aefes purred again as if he hadn't been upset just moments ago, & rested his own hands on the other pair at his waist. "What were planning to do from behind the couch anyway?" It was a good time as any to ask since they were just sitting there, but that preditorial feeling was starting to set in the more he remained close to the Magmortar.
