She focused, falling behind. The effort left her trembling, but the clouds slowly parted, and the rains fell away. she lolled back her head and floated, letting the waves carry her close to him.

As the water smoothed out, he sighed. He was going to live after all! Pushing back his wet mane, he called to her. "You okay?"

She nodded a bit. "Just exhausted."

Eoin smiled at her, "That was a really neat trick. You should do it more, maybe it'd be easier to control?" He raised an eyebrow as he took to ringing out his tail.

Eoin edged over to her, splashing through water with his "raft". "You sure you're okay?" It would be frightening to have such powers--terrifying even, but at the same time not using them seemed scary enough. He didn't know what he would do in her situation. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you."

"You didn't hurt me," she mumbled, like one half asleep. "Just... tired..." she began to sink slowly under the water.

Eoin wished he had learned to swim better, this was no good. Not good at all. He put his hoof under her head, or at least attempted to to keep her from sinking. "No, wake-up! What about..."he searched for something..."Food?"

She let him pull her head, seeming not to care, and somewhat limp. "Food?" she asked, struggling to open her eyes, but having difficulty.

"Maybe a banana or fish?" What did she eat? "Uhm, cookies. I wish we had cookies. What do you like to eat?" He tugged her up higher

He'd be able to get her chin onto the raft, but if that was an accident or design... who knows. The raft would tilt dangerously towards her, however. "I... food," she mumbled.

Eoin dug in his bag. He did have one cookies, kind of crumbled...but still good. "Here, try this." He edged teh piece toward her mouth.

Her mouth opened and she ate slowly, more on reflex than from dint of effort or will. After a few mouthfuls she struggled her eyes open blearily. "Sleep," she mumbled.
