-x AoiSakura x- I'm starting a webcomic (going online as soon as school starts), and would be happy to devote a day, or series, even, to advertising the ball, if that'd be useful. smile Oh that would be seriously awesome.

There are so many good ideas!! I just looked up some advertising ideas and found this: http://www.prlog.org/Quote: Press Release: Utilize a costless public press release service suchlike PRLog. I love the press release idea! It's going to get a lot of attention! <3
I think we should also remember that by advertising out of Gaia, we are mostly attracting new people to this place. That means that before they would join the Annual Ball, they would have to actually sign up first.
...That's just what I think though. :3 I'm not saying it's a bad thing or anything. xD

@Harmonic: Not to mention, those new people might not know how to rp much. I had that problem when I went to my first annual ball. Ah...those lovely newb-ish memories. =W=

And Harmonic brings up a really good point. I think we can still try outside-of-Gaia advertising, but our main focus should really be on-site. XD

Focusing in-site should be our top priority. Once I move (im leaving tuesday) and get internet access 24/7, I can start putting some things into action and really get into everything =D

BUT.
Since I used to do this before I found Gaia, I know a lot of people make RP myspaces. I had one. Girl named Sonari with pink hair. And we used to do RP's through messages or journal entries.
I think that Gaia in general would be a way awesome place for them, and if we could advertise to them, we could a lot more people involved.
They may be new to Gaia, but not to roleplaying.
And I like noobs.
They're cute.
And stuff.

I think it'd be awesome if we advertised to roleplayers out of Gaia! I started roleplaying out of Gaia too. x)

but there are still alot of roleplayers around gaia that are new and can be taught better. ive been practicing roleplaying around the roleplaying forums myself, since im new and i want to practice for the 9th ball and ive seen many illiterate and just clueless new roleplayers that i think if we taought them a little more, we could have them as awesome guests at the ball

Yeah, the mini roleplays would be an awesome way to advertise. (: Two thirds of my time on Gaia is spent roleplaying. xDD
It would be awesome if we could gather a bunch of people that know how to roleplay, set up a thread, and then teach Gaians how to roleplay. c:

That could be really fun.

We could even do like.. A mentor program type thing. For newer roleplayers interested in learning about it.
Throw in some helpful tips and some scenarios you could run with them.

we can start a "9th annual ball newbie training" guild. we can have different roleplay rooms, assign new members to old members so that they can teach the newbies, even games make sort of games to keep the rabble entertained.
