Odi watched the hard to call hunt happen. If he really had to call it anything it was a sick game. Not like he could make a comment since he doubted the carrion birds finished the carcass yet of his last kill.
As he sat their he couldn't see the images but he could easily sense the fear coming from the doe. He understood where it was coming from. A few flashes of his childhood played out before him just that he was the doe and Sin was his father.
As he watched the scene and his memory playing out he shook it away quickly as his stomach started to churn. As he watched Sin Odi kept thinking how he would of ended the kill earlier.

The doe struggled as he approached. He swiftly broke her right front leg, and followed with her left, until she was unable to move without pain rushing through her lithe body. He smiled at her, watching her squirm before lowering his head to her cheek. He ripped through her mind, removing the creatures thoughts and feelings completely until all that lay before him was a empty shell of an animal. He was refining his ability to bend minds.
In seconds he ripped the creatures throat out, laughing hoarsely at the sickening squish. Blood dripped from his maw, and his body practically leaked the doe's blood. He simply sat there, admiring his work before violently grabbing a leg and dragging her back to where the camp was.

The final moments of the doe was by all means overkill to Odi. She wouldn't be able to put up a fight and even if her luck got her out alive she would die from another predator. He watched Sin for a moment knowing that when Odi bloodlust rose he looked like that.
He turned and started to walk back before Sin. Let him enjoy his kill was his thought as he walked.

Sin knew Odi was running about, but once again had little care. He had not interrupted his little game, and so he had actually won points. Anyone that interrupted his games always left with more injuries than the original target, or didn't leave at all. He was able to drag the doe to the camp, and dropped her in the middle. He leaned downwards, and ripped her leg clean off.
"Odi, I know you are wandering about. This is also for you." He called out before climbing up on top of his rock, ripping into his claimed meat.

Odi was sitting at the base of the rock with his eyes close thinking to himself. As he heard Sin dragging his kill back he looked toward him with a unsurprised look on his face.
"Just getting to know the neighborhood." He said looking at hte dead doe for a moment. Odi suddenly felt a growl rise from his stomach and walked over to it and immediately went for the liver. His favorite part.
"Enjoy your hunt?" He asked already knowing the answer but it didn't matter. Just a formality from Kana.

Sin peered down at Odi from his perch, chewing on a bone. Formalities were lost on him currently, mostly because he never had anyone to exchange them with. He grunted from his spot, swallowing the last of the meat on the area of the bone he was chewing on before nodding. "Yes. I'm sure you would know that." He spoke up. "I may have lost my ability to smell much, but I could hear you nearby." He added, however didn't add any reprimand for Odi. Why should he? It wasn't like he cared.
"I have a new task for you."

"That's surprising." and useful. He thought as he ripped into the still seaming organ. The sight of ripping the doe open brought thoughts back from the day before and made him wander when he next impulse might come.
"Alright." He said eating the last bit of his doe with a quick bite.

He jumped down from his rock, pondering on Odi's position. He had yet to say if he would stay or not, but Sin doubted he was going anywhere. His tail flipped from side to side as he eyed the kill he had felled before completing his statement. "Bring five fish here that you caught with manipulations. If you do, I can teach you have to block out others mental advances." He said, eyes narrowing at Odi. He didn't add that he wouldn't teach Odi how to block him out, but he didn't think Odi would need to worry about that. For now. He liked the other very slightly, finding him a calmer version of himself.

Odi watched as Sin moved from his spot. It always amazed him and this fox moved so silently although he would never show it. As he saw his eyes moving toward the doe he was wondering if his meal came with a price. Finally hearing him speak made Odi think back to what he was taught yesterday. "Understood." he said.
As he started to walk away he did something he never did, he turned his back on Sin. It was a way of showing that he didn't fear Sin or he wasn't worry about a possible attack. The more he could get Sin warmed to him the better he could work without worrying about having a shadow move.

Sin watched Odi turned, noticing how the other turned his back on him. What a bold move. He was not going to attack Odi, he had no plans to. Yet. For now, he was busy trying to teach Odi how to become a part of his new home. He headed to the kill and nudged it into a dug hole he had made for kill, returning to his resting spot and grabbing the bone he had been chewing on, returning to that game.

When Odi finally made his way through the maze to the pond he had came close to stepping on a rattlesnake but it was early and it was still slow from lack of light. He made a special note to watch his footing.
As he made his way to the pool he looked around finding a fish and started to concentrate on it.

Several hours later Sin had found himself bored. Again. He was sitting at the campgrounds, merely staring at the sky. Before he had spent much time speaking to the Shade Beast, but now he was busy trying to do what he had been told to. Odi had not yet returned, and he had found himself slightly curious about the foxes whereabouts. If Odi was to become part of his new tribe, than Odi was family. Which meant in due time, Sin would protect the fox. In due time, that is.

All of Odi attempts at bringing the fish to dry land had all been a work in progress. He caught all five of his fish and were bringing them back gripping them by the tail. It was awkward carrying them back but he didn't get put into that god forsaken water. Finally getting back and seeing Sin he dropped the fish down in front of him. "Five fish. All caught by manipulation." He said looking at him a tired look on his face.

Sin couldn't lie, he was fairly impressed. Odi was clever. He picked them up and dropped them in the kill pile, heading back to Odi and sitting before him. His black eyes held no hostility, instead they seem to hold curiosity. "Impressive. How tired are you? Are you starting to feel a headache?"

Odi looked sideways at him. Seeing his stance and even his eyes not hold any idea of a game Odi didn't worry. "Like I been sprinting all day. Yeah my head is pounding...should I worry." He said his expression not changing.
