That wasn't exactly what he was getting at but no matter, by the time he got back he would probably change his mind anyway, seeing so many almond trees he was now curious about what makes this ice cream so special "alright, just wanted to make sure, I don't want you over exerting yourself" he said to her, watching her grow the last few.

Phyllis finished up the last few trees. She then sat down to rest. "There all done. The last ten or so will probably take a day or two to finish growing." She said looking around. She was going to need that ice cream now to get her energy back up.

"Thank you SO much, these will last me a good while" she said as she started picking the ripe ones "though I think, maybe, a biggest basket will be needed" she said as she looked at the other filly "are you OK to rest for a little bit or do you want to just get your energy back a bit sitting here" she asked, deciding to make sure before going back.

"You're welcome." Phyllis said with a smile, "I'll be fine if I rest just for a couple of minutes. Then I'll be good to head back and have some ice cream."

"Alright, thank you again" she said as she walked through, leaving the portal open for the others.
Tira walked over and sat down next to her "I guess we will both have some of this almond ice cream when we get back" he said as he nuzzled her a little "thank you, I know, you have been thanked already but still, it is greatly appreciated" he said as he conjured up a bowl of nice clean, strawberries and a bowl of dipping chocolate "I know it isn't ice cream but it might be nice to nibble on them before we go back" he said laying down and gestured for her to do the same.

Phyllis smiled and waved goodbye to Lemonade. She looked at Tira and then at the bowl of strawberries. "You're going to have some almond ice too? What happened to your usual?" She asked taking a strawberry and munching on it. She laid down after she finished it. "Thank you for the snack." She reached over and took another strawberry dunking it in the chocolate.

"Maybe it is time" he said as he picked up a strawberry and ate it "I upgraded to a new usual" he said smiling at her as he finished his strawberry off and picked up another "besides, if anything" he said as he conjured up a colored photo of his parents, both in wizard robes of some sort and smiled down at it "I really only kept to it because it was my mothers favorite" he said showing her the photo "my parents back when they were helping the Magical Realm elders, my father died before my mother but she used to tell me stories and I just felt as if I had known him forever. Anyway, as I have said to you before, my family helped create a lot or spells they use around here and I am even learning more and more in my advanced spell creation class, a class on a select handful or so get into and whilst I do wish to take after my ancestors I guess I do still have a long way to go, anyway as I was saying, it was my mothers favorite just that I got accustomed to having it in the 'child version' of what she had it as, so it was terribly embarrassing when you would see this adult pony get this smiley faced 'clown' version of what is a beautiful, detractive display of ice cream, something you just didn't want to eat it was so beautifully displayed, that having it be 'child friendly' so to speak just made it a tad embarrassing.
Though, it also had alcohol in it which is mother reason I got the 'child version' of it, Lemonade...mom, found a recipe book in a box my mother left for me with a few other bits and pieces, I had only tasted her favorite one, something she came up with, once, it was only mouthful obviously because of the alcohol but I could remember the taste as if I had just tasted it for the very first time and given I was still weary of living with my new family mom finally made me realize how much I could trust them and know I had a home with them. I never truly trusted them but I did a little but Lemonade stayed up all night with me and kept making my mothers ice cream over and over and over again till she got it 100% perfect, which she did and so I thought that if there was someone who would go through all this trouble just for me then maybe I could place all my trust in them.
I did, of course, have to have a potion before I had the ice cream, it was to dilute and protect any and all alcoholic substances I had placed into my body so I could eat as many mouthfuls as I wanted but my body wouldnt react badly to it and I wouldn't end up looking like a drunken baby and so I now get to have my mothers favorite ice cream whenever I want it and Lemonade only ever makes it just for me, I have had my sister ask me if she could try some but I haven't been willing, she never got to let anyone else taste it besides me and I never have been willing to, I guess I just want to keep this little part of her to myself" he said as a couple of tears fell down his cheeks, finally remembering this and the thoughts of his mother "I don't know if I will ever be ready to give this part of her up yet, I know I should, I should just let people taste what my mother created and let everyone enjoy it and what not but I just don't have the heart to yet, I might never have the heart to, I know it makes me sound like a selfish person but I just don't want to give up this part of her yet" he said as he dunked his strawberry into the sauce and ate it.
((Just go with a mix of Tira for his parents? I never really did figure out his parents looks and what he got off what parent etc, it is on my 'to do' list but that is about it, so er...yeah, just go with it.))

She looked at the photo after finishing another strawberry. She stared at the two ponies dressed in wizard robes. She could clearly see where Tira got his eyes or his colors. "Your mother was really beautiful and your dad is quite dashing. You're lucky to have such a good picture of them." She looked up at him smiling. He was lucky to have known his mother and to have heard stories of his father. She had no clue who her parents were and no one else seemed to know as well. That's what happens when a foal shows up on the doorstep of a herd in the middle of the night. No one knows where she came from.
"There's nothing wrong with eating a 'clown' version of any ice cream when it brings you closer to someone you hold dear. It's quite sweet in fact." She paused with a smile, "No pun intended. And there's nothing wrong with not sharing your mother's ice cream. Its your special way to be connected to her. No one should get in the way of that unless you want them to." She took another strawberry and dipped it into the sauce. She ate it quickly and stood up. "Thank you for telling me all of this."

"Lady Wicca gave it to me, she worked closely with them so she decided to take a photo one year at christmas after they had just finished a major project so it is really the only one any of us have but she thought it best I had it" he said as he made the strawberries vanish "and thank you" he said chuckling a little "if i know my mother, if she was here, she would tell you not to inflate my fathers ego, apparently he was one who loved to joke about how great he was etc" he said smiling at the thought "though, apparently, he did always say his mate was far more greater then he was etc, he knew that behind every man was a great woman." He said as he got up and I guess your right, thank you" he said nuzzling her "I guess there isn't anything wrong with it, I just only had it around home so often that it ended up being my 'usual' after dinner but thank you for understanding it is the only way I still feel connected to my mother, I might one day let someone else try it but until then I think I might just keep it to myself" he said as he kissed her cheek "your'e welcome, thank you for letting me ramble on, ready to go back?"

She smiled at him. "It was nothing. Sometimes all one needs is a chance to ramble on and have someone there to listen." She nuzzled him back with a laugh, "Your parents sound like they were quite an interesting couple. I'm sorry for your lose. And yes I'm ready to go back." She headed towards the portal making sure to not get too ahead of Tira.

"I guess everyone does and thanks" he said smiling at her, nuzzling her back "they were, well from what I saw, I have seen, now, thanks to Lady Wicca, a few magical. 'movies' that were taken of them but thats about it, they were interesting but they did make an awesome couple" he said as he walked over to her "lets go back, I think we have some ice cream to eat" he said as he started towards the portal, not getting too far ahead of her.

"Welcome. And that's really cool. I wish I had some magical movies of my parents." She sighed and stepped through the portal. She quickly headed over to the table and sat down. "Course it would probably help to know who my parents are."

Tira sat across from the other and smiled somberly at her "if you want, I could always see if I can find them or at least one of them for you" he suggested to her "I know a spell or two that would be able to help me out, might even be able to bring them back to Dream Valley if their...well...you know, if they haven't passed away, all I would need to a little bit of your DNA and I should be able to find them...if you want them to be found of course" he offered her, this would be the first time hes ever tried to find someone without an actual item of clothing or a watch or something but it wasn't meant to be tHAT much harder so he could easily do it if she wanted him to.

Phyllis looked at Tira for a moment before slowly shaking her head. "Thank you for the offer but no.... I don't think I'm ready to meet the parents who abandoned me as a baby. Maybe some other time I will be." She smiled at him, "It was really sweet of you to offer."

"Just one question, before you say, how do you REALLY know they abandoned you? Not all babies that are given up were abandoned, your parents might of had a good reason to leave you, I know no parent would leave their child for any reason BUT I also know that IF they HAD to then they will, especially if it means saving your life over theirs" he said as he poured himself a glass of water and then offered to pour her a glass "would you like a glass?" He asked, smiling at her as he continued "I know that it is up to you and I respect that but I just don't think that assuming they abandoned you for no good reason is fair, you should at least hear them out even if you never want to see or hear from them again." Tira said with a soft sigh "I apologize for talking out of turn but I know what it is like to be with no parents, I was stuck in the orphanage for so long, wishing I had my mother with me, if there was some remote chance you could see your parents again, if only to ask if they did or did not abandon you for no good reason then would it not be nicer to know then just thinking they banadoned you?" He asked, knowing that he was pushing the boundries a little, she said no and he should of accepted it and stopped but he knew what it was like to have no parents, sure he might of known his mother for a few days after he was born but still, he did just want her to maybe get some questions answered instead of just thinking her parent or parents just abandoned her.
Tira shook his head "i'm sorry, I got to see my mothers ghost when I moved in with my new family, I was able to say goodbye to her properly, I was able to ask a few things, get some answers, I treasure that time even if I didn't like saying goodbye to her or hearing what she had to say, seeing her one last time meant the world to me, I guess I just want you to be happy as well and I shouldn't be pushing my feelings and thoughts onto you, i'm terribly sorry, Phyllis" he said sincerely to her, it was wrong of him to say what he did, it was a flaw of his, sometimes he just couldn't leave well enough alone even if he was trying to do/say what he did with a good heart.
