The beam of light glanced off of the sturdy table and seemed to disappear. Ryou, still ducked down, noticed that the beam seemed to dissipate and decided to take a peak over the table. At that point the old bishop began swinging his mace straight down at Ryou's head. Ryou immediately jumped backward and drew his sword with this left hand at the same moment. The bishop smashed the table into splinters, Ryou seemed to grasp his strength. His face changed completely at the sight of his power and an evil grin covered his face. The look in his eyes have shifted from being fairly kind hearted to a ruthless blood thirsty appearance.
Ryou then tightened his grip on his zanpactou and began to charge the bishop with great animosity. Once he was within striking distance he began to swing his sword with great furry and speed. Slashing from right to left, left to right. He wasn't going for a kill strike, he made it his mission to see just how strong this doll is. He seen the strength of the bishop, now he wants to see how quick he is. With a weapon, such as a heavy mace, Ryou figures that the bishop's weakness is he won't be quick enough to guard his flurry of slashes at him.

Ogato started to feel confident when he noticed that the Queen was caught off guard by his weapons transformation. When he went into attack her he felt his blade clank against the metal of her scythe. As she leaned to the left he found himself losing his balance, before he knew it he was thrown back and attacked by a golden ark of energy. Trying to fend it off with his blade he swung to late and was slashed by the energy. Taking a strong stance while he attempted to bare the pain he slashed down with his sword. Snuffing off the pain he dashed towards the Queen with furry in his eyes. Leaping into the air he stabbed at the queen but had a moment of hesitation for the pain striking his muscles. Pushing past that he aimed for her right shoulder attempting to weaken her a bit more.
((I'm really sorry I took so long, but I could never make myself post when I logged on sweatdrop I'll try to keep up for now.))
