Got 2 new additions to my Cygnar,
from Spikeybitz I got the Sniper-Lady Kara Sloan and Gruffy-trencher Maxwell Finn. whee
Bought her just to see and test how a shooty-army would work in Warmachine. ninja
That and maybe have something to betterly counter Hordes armies.
I´ve tried Stryker which worked fine,
but the fact that he can´t use Disruption rule bugs the heck out of me. <.<"

Managed to snag a copy of the IKRPG yesterday for only €48 instead of the full €60. I am going to miss that 20% discount.. emo

But syeah, it's a hefty tome, close to 400 pages, first hundred or so made up of actual fluff regarding how it all got started, how the gods factor into things and the current state of affairs.

Can't talk about the rules much, still going through it, though character creation is fun enough and allows for just about anything hailing from Cygnar, Khador, Llael, Rhul or the pointy-eared regions, making it very easy to create a gunfighter, Widowmaker or grenade lobbing alchemist of your own.

Sadly, what is missing is an extensive bestiary (the book has only a dozen or so statted creatures!) and no demo adventure to run on the go. Poor show!

I wouldn't say that any of the core 40k RPG books had an extensive bestiary included either. Though not including a sample adventure is a sin though!

Pffft, all of the core books have more opponent options than this one! Yes, the entries are limited for the sake of space and brevity, but it still allows for a whole lot more than what the IKRPG book has on offer.

Received the first Iron Kingdoms supplement yesterday, Urban Adventure, which as the title might imply, is all about cities. Actually, not a whole lot, but whatever. There's new classes for all the non-human races (Gobber Guttersnipe, Labour Korune, Pugilist, Searforge Trader, Seeker and Urban Nomad), though the humans get a new class of their own as well: Thamarite Advocate, complete with rules on the creation of your own thralls. There's also a few new labour jacks, some new weapons and equipment, a condensed guide on the city of Five Fingers and some new foes, along with some short scenario seeds.

All in all, an okay book, not bad for $22. It's not FFG levels of content, but it works in fleshing out the rather bare-bones core book when it comes to encounters, something sorely lacking until now.

I went up against the new Cygnar calvary models the other day.

They are a tricky bunch to deal with... especially sense my opponent likes putting blur on them.

I'm fairly new to the game and I've taken up on the Hordes side with Trollbloods. I've played.. 4 games? Still nothing bigger than 20 points so far but I got seriously hooked on the minis (you can see a few pictures of them on my FB page linked below. Like? Like. (: Shameless plug indeed) and bought craploads of them. At last count I have 112pts with a choice of Bloodsong or Primal Madrak.

My ambition is to be able to know the rules well enough and be able to field for a 200pt game. It'll be along weekend of drama, stress and tears. It will be special.

I started playing with the Legion of Everblight hordes faction, loved how everblight and cryx are connected in the lore and the look of the everblight models.

I am looking forward to getting the Convergence of Cyriss Battlegroup for warmachine when i have the chance, the time, and the space to build them. The tough choice is do i finish my everblight or start cyriss as i cureently have no one to play with.

You can tell what army I favor.
