I don't know why but when I imagine a woman as being the sole breadwinner I don't see her personality meshing well with yours, Dude. sweatdrop
I have to say though, as a gay guy, straight gender roles are kind of funny. I'm so glad I don't have to worry about paying for a gf. (except i'd love a guy to pay things for me, lulz to the hardcore)

I find gender roles kind of funny, too, so it's not just you. To a certain extent, there's usually a kind of roleplaying like that in any relationship, despite the fact that we refer to them as "gender" roles. But they are definitely utilized to the extreme by straight couples.
