I come bearing trivia!!
Can you imagine Disney's The Little Mermaid without the song "Part of Your World?" This sequence in the movie (Ariel singing the song in her hidden treasure trove) is possibly the most memorable scenes in the whole movie, but did you know it was almost cut out entirely? One producer thought the children watching the screening were getting up and fidgety during the song because they were bored, but it turned out one boy had merely dropped his popcorn and was trying to clean it up. The producer was finally convinced of the song's importance to Ariel's character and that the kids weren't really bored (just worried about getting into trouble for spilling popcorn all over the floor), and the scene was kept in the movie.
