Tenkai Matsumoto
In so far as Spelling and Grammar went, I scored Fier a half point higher for less mistakes. Though, looking back on it, I could have just given you both a 4 instead of a 4 - 3.5, but it'd still only be a half point difference.

For Conciseness and Writing Ability, it was another 4 - 3.5. You were both good at writing, but Fier was just a -bit- clearer on his actions.

For Roleplay, and I'm not ashamed of this, I gave both you and Fierach a zero. I can't think of a worst possible RP matchup for you guys. I know I'm being harsh, but with how much it affected the feel of your characters and the entertainment of the fight (with entertainment being a big factor in Roleplay), I felt you both deserved it. I'm sorry, and I mean nothing personal by it, but by God man...both of you needed to get along.

In Creativity/Strategy you both got a 3. Nothing big or creative, decent strategy. Some problems with both of your martial arts, but at that time I just couldn't see one over the other.

Same goes for Control of the Fight. I should have given you both a 2.5 - 2.5, but earlier on I considered even control as a 3 - 3. It was hard when the two of you would hardly take a hit from each other because of how angry you were at each other, and you were both trying to end the fight in a single maneuver.

It was a very close fight, but its one I don't think either of you should be proud of.

That being said, if Fierach is reading any of this, you better not have a single iota of pride in this win. I don't ever want to see that kind of RPing in this tournament again.

Thanks for being straightforward on this, I appreciate that. And at least this is a good leason that I should communicate with my rp partner before doing anytihng rash.

ok, creep. i scored you guys pretty high for some reason... either i liked it or i was tired and nothing really jumped out at me. what changed things is adair's winning in the "strat" and "DOMINION" categories.

i have few comments on this matter, other than you guys didn't have much time to do anything.

If I can, I would like to see them. Thank you for the input. And I completely understand her 'dominion' score.

Cyril vs. Adaire

Spelling/ Grammar : 4 - 4

I KNOW there was an incomplete sentence there. However, it's not characteristic of your otherwise great writing.

Conciseness/ Writing Ability : 4 - 4

Roleplaying : 4 - 4

Didn't have enough time to really screw up, honestly.

Creativity/ Strategy : 2 - 3

...Didn't have enough time to do much of anything.

Control of the Fight : 2 - 4

He's not the only one who's curious. I thought it was a fairly solid battle. I wish we could have gotten a few more posts in, but I know how hard it can be to juggle role-play commitments with life. CR was an honorable opponent, a good writer, and a pleasure to fight, it would be interesting to know breakdown overall. Possibly a learning experience for us both.

That is all I can ask from any of you.

Regardless of who has better strategy, who does the most damage, who does the most anything...the most important thing is to keep RP from being personal and getting along with the person behind your opponent. Your characters can hate each other's guts, but you can tell when that's being written into a fun, interesting story and when two people just aren't getting along.

I think that if you guys had worked together into taking your characters' past encounter and working it into a plot for your fight, it would have worked in both of your favors.

I know Omi already asked about our fight, but I'm not asking about the points or comparison descriptions.

I'd like to know what wasn't good about my writing/fight, basically, anything I could improve on.

I've been out all day. Has this thread devolved into mindless RAEG yet?

I would like to know why I was given the scores I was given, and I also would love to know why I'm in the only fight where I'm not fully scored yet. Seems very unfair to Vanguard and I. It's been over 12 hours or so since the scores are out, and we still haven't gotten all of our scores.

"why was i given these scores?"

did you not receive the comments we wrote down when grading?

"why is my fight not finished?"

i don't know. i finished my grading, with vansin taking one. i took one for tenkai. i'm unaware of any other responsibility switches, but yes, you should have had your grades. i apologize, and i'm making sure that they're getting done.

Cause Tenkai forgot there was one more match he was suppose to do. But he has a headache from all the pressure of speed judging yesterday, so you'll have to forgive him. However, another judge is taking it up to do your fight, so it should be done graded by tonight.

I would like a breakdown of my 13's, just to see what i did wrong and how i can improve in the future.

Thank you for your time.

Sokoya Ramak
*Brings doughnuts.*

I've already gotten the commentary I asked for from two of my judges:

Tenkai and Rhos.

I was just wondering if I could get feedback from the third one.

Mind you, I'm not troubled by my score, so my request should be pretty low priority.

I'm actually 100% furious that I DIDN'T get assigned that fight.

Mind filling me in on who the third judge was, so I can just go to him?
