Sunagakure/Ninjutsu/Genin/Crystal Release

As Orion entered the training grounds he saw that nobody was there and night had almost come in full. Reaching into his scroll pouch he removed the scroll he'd retrieved from his house earlier that day after finishing the repairs to the dorms. He wanted to learn at least one technique from the scroll before turning in for the night. Opening it he began to read about the basics of his kekkai genkai, the Crystal Release, that his parents had written down years ago. They'd always planned to show him the techniques themselves and use the scrolls as a learning tool, but left them to him in their wills incase the unthinkable were to happen. As Orion continued to read he could almost hear his mother's voice in the words written on the scroll, explaining the structures of the crystals he'd have to keep in his head when he performed the jutsus as well as the weaknesses inherit in those same techniques.

Smiling to himself he continued on to read the first technique listed on the scroll while there was still enough light to do so. There wasn't much of a description given though. "Must be dad's writing, he never was one for the small details." Orion thought to himself with a chuckle as he rolled the scroll up and put it back in his scroll pouch. Taking a deep breath he visualized the crystal structure he needed to make. It had to be both strong enough to hold its own weight and survive the small attacks it would no doubt be hit by in the crossfire during a fight as well as be reflective. His hands rushed through the handsigns that the scroll had detailed, molding the chakra into the form he'd need. As he performed the final handsign he said "Crystal Release: Shōton: Suishō Kyō," and crystals began forming out of the ground before him at an extreme speed until a large mirror shaped like a snowflake was standing before him, reflecting his own image as well as that of the starry sky back at him. Orion smiled at his own reflection, he'd finally learned a technique from his bloodline! It had been as difficult as he thought it would, the concentration needed to form the crystal structures was as difficult as one would expect. That being said, with enough practice he was sure it would become second nature. "Though I'm not sure how useful a mirror would be in a fight, even if it CAN makes clones using another jutsu." Still, he couldn't see his parents making him learn a useless jutsu, so it had to have some sort of purpose. "Oh well, a question for another time. It's starting to get late, I should turn in for the night." After ending the jutsu, thus causing the mirror to shatter into a myriad of tiny crystal shards with a light tinkling sound, he began heading off to the dorms and his bed.

Orion was woken up by a soft tapping sound on his window. When he looked in its direction he saw that there was a messenger bird on the sill, pecking at the glass. Orion quickly got up and opened the window, taking the message from the bird's leg as it stood still patiently before flying off. Once he read the message written on the paper he smiled to himself. "Looks like someone is planning a training day. Good, maybe I'll be able to add some jutsu to my repetroire."

After recieving the letter he quickly got dressed and grabbed all of his gear, making especially sure not to forget his bloodline scroll, and headed out the door toward the training grounds.

Upon entering he realized that the only other shinobi currently there was one of the ones from the other day who's name he hadn't caught. Walking over to the white haired shinobi he then noticed a nearby black dog surrounded by bowls, who had a headband attached to its chest. "Well that's.....unusual." he thought to himself. Stopping next to the Suna shinobi Orion said "Hello, I'm afraid I didn't catch your name the other day. I am Orion Ekisho." Orion wasn't a fan of talking to people, but he figured he should at least know the name of someone he might have to work with in the future. "I'm guessing you got the same message about training that I did?" He might have been wrong, but he didn't think the white haired teen would be instructing the training. Of course, he could also have just been there on his own.

Orion nodded back at Katsuro. "A pleasure to meet you as well, and I agree. I wonder if it will wake anytime soon?" Judging by the scraps of food in some of the bowls he could see, it had probably eaten and gone to sleep. There was no telling when it would wake and his question had been more of him simply thinking aloud then actually asking to get an answer.

As Katsuro looked back to the dog Orion notcied his posture tighten, especially the hand gripping his sword. "Konaga, Konaga. I think I read something about it when I was looking for some information on my own bloodline. There wasn't much, but I think I remember something about them being in pain." If that was what was happening, then Katsuro had hidden it well, the only thing that had even made Orion think of it was the whitening of his knuckles. The rest of the tightening of the posture could have been from some thoght or belief in some sort of proper etiquette when around others.

If Katsuro were to look he might see a small flicker of pity in Orion's eyes before he hid it. He'd grown up with Akiho, so he knew that not everyone took kindly to being pitied. He sincerely doubted Katsuro would be an exception to that.

Sunagakure/Weapons Master/Genin/Genjuu-Kinzoku

Akiho woke with a start when she heard tapping on her window. Groaning as the sun hit her eyes, she noticed a small messenger bird with a note tied to its leg patiently standing at her closed window. Hefting her body out of bed, the frame let out a squeak of relief. Opening her window, she reached out to the bird and untied the note from its leg. After reading the note’s contents, Akiho’s eyes widened as she realized that she was late. Rushing about her home, she threw on her clothes and dashed out the door, bidding her father a good day as she did so.

As she ran through the village, Akiho noticed that most of the people were already up and about. The streets were filled with people that she had to weave through, but she found it entertaining. Akiho had always thought of herself as fast on her feet, and make dodging through the crowd into a game in which if she touched anyone, she lost.

Reaching the training grounds, she noticed a large dog and two people standing in front of it beginning to warm up. Realizing that one of the people was Orion, she ran up to him and not the slightest bit out of breath asked, “What did I miss?”

Havik raised his paw quickly slamming into Dogou's chin, with Havik monstrous strength, even the large body of his was cast about ten feet into the air. As his body fell, and slammed into the sand with a large thud Havik spoke "Now that the fact I am not a normal dog is out of the way you two can start with your warm up." Havik went over the same set of warm ups for the two new Genin and expected to here what they wished to learn.

Yuuki walked into the training grounds, seeing a group of people there already.

"sorry I'm late."

She stated, looking around for the sensei. All she saw, however, was a large wolf standing in the center of them.

" Technically almost everyone outranks me. " dogou said, refering to the fact that he actually had no rank in the shinobi world as he hadn't recieved his headband, or equivalent there of. " Also, I haven't seen any messenger birds, I just came here to train. " Dogou said, spitting more blood beside him as he stood up and dusted himself off.

Dogou stepped back a bit as the Wolf shifted it's shape, but when he relised it was a human, he regained his position. " Huh, you're fairly big for a little guy. " Dogou said, once again, his social skills showing to be on the level of an infant who wants a toy. " So what warm ups should I do? " dogou said, having not been there for the initial introduction by Havik, and therefore didn't know what he meant by warm ups.

Sighing Havik went over, for the second time the warm ups Dogou was supposed to do, just like he had done before. After that he noticed that the first Genin started his warm up, and Havik watched intently. The young ninja seemed to have a few suttle pauses with the push ups, and squats, but when about the kicks, and punches with ease "Not that strong, but good cardio, and he moves well enough," Havik listened to what the boy wanted to learn and said "Alright, you will stay here with me and learn the basics of Doton, and universal ninjutsu." Havik was glad he would be able to teach some Doton, he felt he had become a little rusty on it since he started paying so much attention to his taijutsu, he thought it would be nice to go over the basics again.

[Ooc: The warm up is just that, a warm up. Hard to do Irl, but would be pretty simple in the naruto verse. }
