"A hair...dryer? Humans have such odd magic?" Kaito asked, turning around to look at the other as he continued his limped walk. His hair was still quite damp, but it was a lot better off compared to before. His body shivered conditionally to the damp cloth that clung onto his skin. He did not note of the perking of the other's nipples, but he could feel his own stiffen to the cold atmosphere. Turning, he once again materialized his wings, wrapping himself in the warm feathers in order to stop himself from turning into a walking ice pop.

Carmen_Hernandez_Carriedo Akiyo nodded when he caught up with Kaito. "Yea, humans have all types of magic like that I guess." It was strange saying that. He never imagined calling his hair dryer or other technology magic. Quite the opposite actually. But if hair dryers and angels could coexist then all would be okay.
He moved a step back to avoid the angel's wings as they materialized once again. "Oh now you're making me jealous." he teased. The anger that he felt at the boy was quickly disappearing. In fact, it felt like he'd left it back in the shed. "We should hurry home. My sister is the type to call the cops, ambulance, and maybe even a witch doctor to come after us."

Kaito turned to look at Akiyo, then returned his gaze to his own wings. "Why would you be jealous...? Being an angel is extremely restricted..." Kaito murmured, snuggling closer to the raven feathers that currently surrounded him. It was true, an angel had such strict guidelines to follow, and even with great influence in Heaven, one could not escape unscathed should they break free of the restrictions..
However, hearing the other's urgency to go home, Kaito just nodded. "I see...your sister really does care for you, does she not?" Kaito asked, a small smile appearing on his face. Now it was he who was jealous of Akiyo, who, despite losing his mother, still had a sister that cared for him so. How did Kaito know all this? He was also Akiyo's guardian angel...not that the boy would ever admit such information to be true....

Carmen_Hernandez_Carriedo Akiyo brushed off Kaito's first question, feeling that the answer should be obvious but he wasn't sure what he meant by restrictions. He frowned and chose to answer his second question, a warm smile, despite the cold, spreading on his lips. "Yes, Akira cares for me a lot. Too much sometimes to be honest. She's like my second mother even though she's only a few years older than me. She's always been like that."
The house was in sight now and not surprisingly, there was a cop car in the parking lot. "Jeez." Akiyo sighed. "Uh maybe do away with the wings now, buddy?" he looked over at Kaito.

"It is quite nice though...to have someone that cares truly for you..." Akiyo mumbled, his lips slowly twitching up into a minute* smile at the thought of a caring family member. However, the smile disappeared almost instantly as his uncle Jared came into mind, and his body shivered almost instantly.
As soon as they were nearing their destination, Kaito was quite...uncomfortable with the odd vehicle that had such glaring beams that was turning like a lighthouse light. Upon Akiyo's suggestion, he de-materialized the wings, and stayed close behind Akiyo, clinging onto the corner of the other's shirt in a poor attempt to hide from the lights.

Carmen_Hernandez_Carriedo Akiyo had the urge to pull the smaller man into his arms, as if he needed protection now that his wings were hidden again. He pulled Kaito's hand from where it gripped his shirt and squeezed in his own. "It's alright. The police is here to help, more or less."
As they came up to the front yard, he could see Akira and an officer under the porch. He had a notepad and was writing down as she spoke. Even from here Akiyo could tell that she was frantic. When she turned and spotted them, instant relief covered her face. "Oh, thank God." she sighed and ran down the pathway to them.
Not caring about the wet state of their clothes she hugged them both and then held Akiyo's face in her hands. "You stupid boy, you've been gone for over an hour. Why didn't you take your phone?" She kissed his cheek twice and then turned to Kaito and pulled him into her embrace. "I was so worried." she said. [[I can't recall if Kaito is wearing pants or not at this moment. For the sake of argument and further weirdness let's say he is lol.]]

Kaito started a bit when he suddenly felt large hands enveloping his own. His face was slowly heating up, but he slightly shook it away, and continued to walk along with Akiyo. The police...Yes, he recalled the car now. He had seen then a number of them run by a few times as he escorted souls to heaven, usually the ones who met a more unfortunate end.
As they approached the house, Akira had spotted them, and ran over to Akiyo, reprimanding him of his long disappearance. However, there was no anger; only relief and worry that accompanied her voice.
The sudden hug from the female was surprising to Kaito, as it had snapped him out of his thoughts abruptly, but he did not mind. Being within the embrace of someone who cared for him...it was nice. It was warmth he never knew, and even though she had only met him that day, Kaito had no doubt she was genuinely worried. Though angels can't read minds, they can read emotions quite well.
With reluctance, he slowly pulled out of her hug and gave her a light bow, slightly bending himself without overexerting his pained body. "I apologize for having to make you worry for me..." he said, voice slightly hushed.[[He wasn't, since they fell off in his attempt to escape, but okay xD]]

Carmen_Hernandez_Carriedo "Apologize? Why'd you run away in the first place?" quipped Akira. Then they were interrupted by the police officer whom she'd abandoned on the porch. "Are these the boys who went missing ma'am?" he questioned. A flush ran over her face and she shrugged. "Yeah, this is them. Sorry for the trouble officer, the storm just had me worried."
Akiyo shook his head. "Come on Kira, I'm a big boy remember." He watched the officer put his notepad away as he tried unsuccessfully to hide his aggravation. "It's alright ma'am. Everyone stay safe and stay inside; the storm might come back." The trio made for the front door as the police car withdrew from the parking space and went on it's way.
Akira opened the door and they went in. Akiyo welcomed the warmth of the house and his body finally relaxed. It was then that he realized that he was still holding on to Kaito's hand. He flushed softly and let the boy's hand slide out of his grip, giving him an uncharacteristically shy smile. "I'm freezing." he said, for a lack of words. Akira moved up beside them. "You two go get dry and i'll make some tea." She moved into the kitchen and Akiyo took the stairs to his bedroom.

"A-ah...." Kaito mumbled. However, Akira was then talking to the man on the porch. After he had left, the three then returned to the house, Akiyo complaining how he was a 'big boy'. It was quite funny to see the pair of siblings banter. Then again, he had always seen them like this from before his banishment.
Inside, Kaito had not even realized that his hand was still within Akiyo's, and blushed a bit as his hand was released. Akira had instructed them to go dry off, so Kaito followed the other.

Carmen_Hernandez_Carriedo Akiyo was rummaging through his closet when he looked up to see Kaito in the door way. Nemo snaked between the boy's feet to her master, rising to paw the wet legs of Akiyo's pants. He bent to pick up the cat and scratched beneath her chin. "I missed you too girl." he cooed and came out of the closet with dry clothes in hand.
"This is the smallest i can find." he shrugged and handed Kaito a blue superman t-shirt. Setting the cat down on his bed he slipped his drenched shirt over his head and threw it in the hamper behind the door. His pants were quick to follow and he strutted, naked to the dresser where he pulled out a red pair of plaid boxers and pajama bottoms and dressed.
"You should change now." he looked over at Kaito who shivered still in his wet clothes by the door. With that he retrieved into his bathroom to blow dry his hair.

Kaito looked at the shirt given to him, but something else caught his eye. Akiyo went to his bathroom...completely deprived of clothes. The angel's cheeks burned with embarrassment as he tried to turn away from the sight, facing the doors of the closet instead.
Akiyo was very well built...more so than he appeared under the cloth that shielded his somewhat pale skin. That slender, yet finely sculpted torso...No, no! He must not think of such things. Pulling off his shirt, Kaito slipped into the dry top, and stripped himself of his wet bottoms. Even though it was the smallest shirt Akiyo had, the bottom still dropped barely above his knee. Sighing as he dared not rummage the closet for pants, Kaito once more retreated to the corner of Akiyo's bed, hugging his legs close and facing the window, staring at the night sky.

Carmen_Hernandez_Carriedo When the bathroom doors open, the warm air from the bathroom trailed behind Akiyo as he entered his bedroom, dressed in boxers and pajama bottoms. His hair was dry now and fell thick and soft around his face. He spotted Kaito on his bed looking out the window. "Thinking about running away again?" he asked. He dimmed the lights so that they could see the dark night and twinkling stars better.
With the hair dryer still in hand he climbed the bed and scooted up to sit directly in front of Kaito. He plugged in the device and on low setting, the warm air barely made a sound. "Don't worry, it doesn't hurt." he coaxed, slipping his hand into the boy's dripping hair. "May I?"

While he sat there in a daze, Kaito had not noticed the other emerging from the bathroom. That was, until he heard the sudden question. He turned around, putting on a false proud air as he turned his nose slightly to the ceiling and looked away.
"Of course not. I do not plan to have your sister freak out again." he said, a bit of humour in his voice. However, when he felt fingers trailing into his hair, Kaito jumped a bit. Hearing the low whirring from somewhere, he looked to the device in Akiyo's hand. To the question, Kaito could only trust Akiyo's reassuring words, and gave a meek nod.
