((Sweet. DEAD BOAR!)) The boar drops in front of her, heaving a last breath before expiring. Deciding that it'd be better to bring it back to her camp, Nalani drug the boar back through the forest trail, eventually coming back to her hammock and the fire pit. Now it was time to skin and clean it...and then, she could roast most of it, and cure the rest with salt.
Deftly moving her sword over it's body, she neatly skins the creature, thinking of plans to use the skin for some sort of clothing.
It's then that she looks out over the ocean, to see what all the rumbling is about.((I'll roll a spot, but do you want me to roll anything for the skinning/cleaning process?)) *rolls for spot* +7 EDIT: 23 total

Roll a survival for skinning and cleaning.
The sky is quickly growing dark but its only midday by the time the hunt boar cleaning are finished. Nalani looks to the west and sees a raging storm. The water moves choppily with the storm, no longer the rhythmic ebbing she's so accustom to. She can make out a small ship out their moving awefully fast toward her island, it seems to change directions often, but indeed its moving closer to her. This is the first ship you've seen in 3 years. Overhead, it seems that another storm is collecting itself, and within an hour, it raining fairly heavily, your boar is taken care of, do you stay on shore to watch the ship and storms or do you take cover?

Nalani, seeing this storm develop, initially felt nothing, but after seeing the lightning tornado vortex of doom drop down out of sky brings back a flood of memories. Sizzla, thats what destroyed your family's ship, thats what took your parent's lives, thats what forced you to live on this island.

After skinning and cleaning the boar, Nalani dug a hole in the sand, lining it with leaves from surrounding trees. The hole would keep the boar cool enough, until the storm blew over the island. Then, she could cook it over her firepit, and make jerky out of the rest. Covering the carcass with leaves, she pushed a pile of sand over it, noting it's position on the beach. Just in case, she shoved a stick deep into the sand next to the boar, wanting to make sure that she wouldn't lose track of it.+6 to Survival EDIT: Nat 1. wow. Boy, do I do a shitty a** job of cleaning that boar! After all that, I won't even be able to eat it!

After all of her hard work, Nalani looked out on the ocean, and saw a sight she hated to see...Startled by it, she stumbled back onto her sand pile, stepping right into the pit she'd just dug for the boar. Great, she thought, now, it's got sand all over it! So much for hunting! It'd have to be berries and papayas once again...
She sighed, and as the rain came pouring from the darkened sky, Nalani took one last look at the storm that seemed to be coming straight for her. It was then that she saw the vortex...the very same kind that had sunk the ship on the fateful night she'd come to this island...And here it was again, stalking her it seemed. This time, she would be prepared.
Before running back to the shelter she'd crafted for weather just like this, she noticed a ship out on the ocean. It was being tossed around as if it were a bath toy at the mercy of a three-year-old. She couldn't help but feel sorry for the people on the ship...They didn't know what they were sailing into...

Nalani begins to feel sick. Suddenly arising out of the choppy surf, Long Tusk appears. LongTusk faces away from you, toward the mysterious waterwalker.

Nalani hunches over, her stomach suddenly in pain...She has no idea why her stomach would be hurting...She hadn't even had anything to eat yet. But nevertheless, there are sharp pangs radiating out from her stomach.
It was then that she saw Long Tusk, facing out toward the ocean. He was looking at something, but Nalani couldn't quite see it...
She looked out past, hoping to see the ship again. Maybe she could get to it, and get off of this island...She had seen a few ships pass by before, but her smoke signals brought no one to the island.

Nalani looked more closely, and as some of the mists parted, she noticed strange man, who looked like he was casting some sort of spell. Pushing her wet hair out of her eyes, she walked down to the edge of the shore, wanting to see if he was the one controlling the weather, and the evil vortex of death and doom.

You see him create a calm on this side of your island and watch as the ship passes into this calm zone. You also see Long Tusk approach slowly. You can roll a nature knowledge to understand the beast's intent.

Watching from the shore, the sky suddenly cleared, and Nalani could see the havoc parting, and the ship sailing through the wall of storms. She jumped up and down, waving her arms, hoping that someone on the ship could see her. It was her chance to be saved!
It was then that she noticed Long Tusk approaching...Uh oh. What could the beast want? She hoped he had no murderous intent in his eyes...*rolls Nature Knowledge* +2 (ugh) Its not so much that the storm is parting, its that its been contained and cleared around your island. The roll indicates that long tusk is not hunting as he approaches the elf EDIT: 10 total

((Aye! I hadn't seen your edits!))
It was then that Nalani noticed the path of the storm...There were blue skies above her, and it looked like the clear skies were hovering just over her island. Glancing up and down the beach, she saw the wall of storms that seemed to encircle the island. Thinking it awfully strange, and wondering why she'd never noticed the phenomenon before, she continued to examine the sky, and the motions of Long Tusk, who was now heading out toward the strange, blue-green man.
