"Ai get in here!!!" The girl yelled and Ai complied after putting his violin in side the carriage first. Though he was slapped by her once he got in side. "Didn't want me join? Your music is just that good huh?" She asked, with her arms cross.

"I didn't know. I'm sorry." He said, as he still smiled, rubbing his cheek. She gets mad easily these days, but he still needed a ride for now.

Ai just relaxed alittle as he leaned back in the carriage and then breathed out as he listened to the girl's adventure without. Through the festival, buying, buying, and more buying. He always nodded and saying how pretty everything she bought was and she would laughed. Guessed she forgave people about as easily as getting mad at them. He looked out the window and looked ahead.

"Hey do you think I should wear any of this to the next village.....Ai?" She asked, shaking him alittle. "Ai..?" .

"Huh? Oh, sorry. Hmm. Blue looks great on anybody. Try wearing that gemstone necklace." He suggested before looking out the window again. What did await him at the next town or village or wherever they were going.

Ai waited for the girl and her guard to be asleep before he silently slipped away. though he was greatful for their giving him a ride, his wanderlust told him that his journey with these two was at it's end. let the guard take the brunt of her anger from now on, he was done being her whipping boy. he smiled to himself and headed back the direction they had come, figuring that the girl would think he would have walked towards Mifile Town.

When he'd walked for almost half the night he found a good place to stop and camp out for the night. rather than build a fire to ward of potential dangers of the night, Ai simply climbed a tree and found a nesting place between two branches. he laid out and closed his eyes, confident in his ability to stay aloft while aleep. He drifted off while listening to the sounds of the night, a much more preferable sound than the guard's snores and the girl's sleep talking. For the first time since joining those two he had a peaceful, if short, night's sleep.

He greeted the morning as he usually did, with a song celibrating the sunrise and life starting anew. When he finished he climbed back down and wondered if he should continue back or really head for Mifile Town. he decided to find a place to perch and play until he figured out what way he should go. he wandered the road for a bit before finding a nice set of rocks and sitting down to play for a time, letting his mind wander as he decided on which direction felt right for him to go.

Ai finally had his direction and jumped down from the rock he'd been sitting on. he took his time, wandering more than actually walking, but eventually he saw a village up ahead. he headed for that, thinking there would most likely be an inn where he could play and then rest before heading out again. maybe he'd actually see if he could get into a drinking contest. that always won him a fair amount of money. he whistled to himself as he walked into the town, but with his mind elsewhere on possible plans for the night, he failed to nnotice the man standing at the crossroads of the village until too late. Their shoulders hit and Ai bounced slightly, rolling with it and coming out still on his feet. he turned to apologize when he saw just who he'd run into. "s-sorry." he said, grinning and rubbing the back of his head, "wasn't watching where i was going. will you allow me to buy you a drink to make up for it?"

Ai blinked a few times at the man's reply and could almost feel his anger. Did he really get so offened by being run into? or maybe it was the offered drink that made him mad. Ai shrugged to himself and went to find the best inn of the village to ask if he could play a bit. he spoke with the owner and managed to get the man to agree, but there would also be a girl playing her flute that night. Ai agreed to play after her and thanked the onwer before sitting down at a table to have something to eat, his first meal of the day. not that he really noticed. he wondered if the girl who'd been traveling with the man from before was the one playing that night and secretly hoped so. he wanted to play for that beautiful man for some reason. he didn't know why, but his heart longed for that man to hear his song.
