Narutos eyes widden a little to Irukas words.. I made all this happen. he calmed down a little and nibbled on his own lower lip nerviously before innocently leaning close to Iruka, kissing his lips softly to let him know everything was fine before stepping out of the spings and slipping a towel around his waste. " I should really check on Shikamaru, and thank him for helping me so much before he takes his nap. were are you off to? you can come along if you want. " he spoke sheepishly but smiled

now realizing everything that just happen, the feelings he felt were returned, he beamed. 'i think i'll come with you,' he replied, stepping out of the warm water and gathering his clothes.

The blond grinned with still a faint pink to his cheeks while getting dressed. hes always liked Iruka but now couldn't tare his eyes away from him and was baffled at what what was next. was . . his sensei 'his' or would he have to ask and what would the villagers think. shyly he kept his thoughts to himself and pulled Iruka out of the springs area once he was mostly dressed. " I feel terrible about Shika I should have forced him to take a break but he made everything look like it never bothered him. So ill get him this. " he said stopping in the middle of the market to buy a food basket with fruits rice and some romen cups.
strolling to the Naras house Naruto stopped in his tracks looking at its condition..he ran up to the door and put the basket down.. "Shikamaru!!. " in a panic he didnt noticed the leaf head band on the ground. instead he peaked inside the ruined home. " Shika-.. are you in here.. gosh . when did this happen?? "

worried, iruka picked up the headband. 'naruto,' he called, holding it out for the young fox boy to see.

Naruto looked back and froze a bit with a small tremble in his hand. he waked back to Iruka and took the head band looking down to the metal and looking in to his reflection again. he blinked and tilted his head. " the material .. its warm like it was just tooken off. maybe hes still close. " Naruto's eyes narrowed persistently jolting onto the roof top to get to the closest entrance, already being able to see the Nara getting closer to the gate taking his sweet time. " Shikamaru! " he snared jumping down his blond spikes lifting slightly as if a cats fur would. "Dont you take another step! "

Shikamaru stopped and lowered his head to the hokage's screeching voice and was silent at first. his eyes settled on the deep line infront of him that marked were the gate of the leaf village closed yet of course there was no longer a point. " Naruto. " he said narrowing his eyes while looking back. " Dont mess with my Decision. "

iruka had followed behind naruto. he didn't want shikamaru to go, but he could understand where he was coming from. he let him know this and also told him tht no matter how much this hurt, it still wasn't the answer.

Shikamaru turned around to iruka looking to his old sensei. " theres always more the one right answer. his eyes shifted to naruto. anger still burned in his head he had trouble being semi polite and agreeable. " I cant fix any of this. " he stopped himself from saying that naruto couldent either. " theres nothing left to fight for here but the dirst beneath my feet. " he hissed out taking a step back past the line.
Naruto growled and starting charging forward while charging his resingun. " idiot ! then ill drag you back my self. this is were you belong! "
Narutos movements didnt fase shikamaru. the nara has never been in this bad of a mood. he waited for naruto to come at him, waiting untill he was about a foot away to slid his hands together capturing him in a shadow possession jutsu. Shikamaru closed his fingers in to a fist hesitating a moment on what he was about to do to the blond.

(i just realized i don't know much about iruka's fighting style!)
'stop this, you two!' iruka shouted, the teacher in him coming to the surface. he didn't care anymore that shikamaru was his equal, or that naruto was hokage. 'you're acting like children! i went through about the same thing ou did shikamaru! and naruto! you're the ******** hokage. stop acting like this!'he was getting angry.

Shikamaru listened to Iruka but the look in naruto's eyes for walking away ticked the nara off. he moved so that naruto was forced to move his bright blue rasingun close to his chest planning on blowing the blond away with his own move but when it came done to it and all hes been through with naruto he couldent do it. He snarred forcing naruto to blast the ground instead and turned around while releacing the hot headed hokage.
Narutos eyes widen as his hand was forec to follow shikamaru's his intentions becomming clear now yet he was a sudden change of heart. .."shikamaru " he said in more of a calm voice. " in the place were leaves dace.. the fire burns.. the shadow of the fire shines on the village.."
"once again new leaves sprout. " the brunet sharply cut naruto off and lifted his hand to the back of his head with his back still turned. " you finaly started looking in your desk for dusty old poems..?" he sighed. " you got your dream . .your teachers are proud.. Asuma sensei.. must be frowning down at me with regreat entrusting his child with me. there must be a line drawn, were enough is enough. I just want to live in a layed back.. peacful home were everywere I look isent an eyesore. "

iruka wasn't really sure what to say. shikamaru clearly had his mind made up. and he honetly did understand where he was coming from. all he could do was stare with a sad expression on his face.
