Dari shook her head. "no, i cant eat or drink. My mechanical parts provide all the energy i could possibly use, although i need to find new replacement Harmony Coils, otherwise i'll slowly drain myself." she said, slowly pulling herself to her feet and brushing the dirt from her dress, folding her wings behind her. "I think we can find some raw materials on the Surface that might serve as makeshift Harmony Coils. Tell us Midnight, do you know where we can find any Quartz crystals?" asked Sai.

Midnight blinked. "Umm I have no need for such minerals why should I know where they are?" She questioned. "Although I did hear that they are a type of rock right?" She questioned not knowing exactly how she could help. She stood resting one hand on the sheath to her sword and let the other one hang down to her side.
Drake jumped into a tree and started hopping from tree to tree trying to find anyone who didn't seem to notice the approching enemy. He stopped on a branch and looked down into the clearing below him. He noticed a girl with long blue hair and another strange looking girl. Someone he had never seen before. He postioned himself on the branch so he would not fall off. He stared down at the two girls, watching them to see what they where up to.

Dari giggled. "yes, it's a rock. Many of my components are made of Quartz Crystal. It's commonly found in trenches or valleys, can either be purple or clear." she turned around and pulled her hair away from her back, revealing her wing mount. she then concentrated and popped open a panel, revealing an array of shining purple and white crystals. there where two empty spaces in the middle of the array, the area around them charred and black. "i've heard of the Surface dwellers using them as jewelry."

Midnight thought for a moment. "Oh! You mean like this?" She pulled a gem out of her pocket. "I kept it after killing my first person." She stated with a proud smile. "Not that it was human. It was a vampire. They use them alot." She smiled. "What for though I have no clue." She chuckled.
Blake blinked down at what they where talking about. He pulled out a necklace he had in one of his pockets he looked at it then down at the stones. Noticing somewhat of a resemblance he dropped the necklace letting it fall down to them and he hid in the tree not wanting to be seen.

Kai danced around exitedly seeing the gem. "Yes, that's exactly what we are looking for!" Dari tilted her head and shut the panel on her back. walking forward a few paces she crouched down and picked up the necklace that had recently fallen from the tree. "Where did this come from?" asked Sai. Dari looked up into the tree, wondering what had dropped it.

Drake pushed himself closer to the tree's trunk when the strange looking girl looked up for him. His sword's sheath rubbed up against the trunk giving him away. "Damnit." He mumbled under his breath.
Midnight looked up at the tree hearing the scrabing of metal against wood. "Sounds like we have company." She stated to no one in particular.

"Potential threat!" shouted Sai. Dari went into her battle trance and her face went blank. "suggest investigative maneuver!" Dari unfolded her wings and spread them. In an instant she slashed her wings at the tree, slicing the trunk in half and felling the tree. She then pulled her battle claws out and took stance. "Who's there!?" she commanded.

Drake jumped out of the tree before it fell and landed in front of the two females. "My name is Drake." Drake introduced himself. "Now you must not waste your time or energy on me there is a huge wave of enemys heading this way. Vampires. Lots of them." He warned.
Midnight looked to the side. "Looks like you brought them with you." She growled softly.

"multiple targets, threat level increased!" cited Sai "Multiple Vanah Amascalas, level 1 demons, suggest aggressive tactics!" Dari quickly spun around and jumped at the mob of vampires with a blast from her helmet engines. she began quickly fighting them, slashing with both her wings and claws furiously.

Midnight without thinking unsheathed her sword and jumped into battle slicing off heads and cutting others in half.
Drake hesitated he knew they where outnumbered but he couldn't just leave them to die. He unsheathed his sword as an emeny vampire chanrged at him he cut off the vampire's arm. He turned around doging the attack and sliced the vampire in half blood covering him and his blade he went for another.

Dari's blades and wings ripped through the mob, felling countless enemies with blazingly fast speeds. With a boost from her helment, Dari jumped high into the air and quickly switched her weapons, drawing out her rifle. "Multi-Vector Targeting Mechanism engaged." cited Kai. Dari pulled the trigger on her rifle, shooting a vampire in the head, completely desintegrating it. She then aimed for another and shot again, repeating the process extremely fast, bringing down a hail of holy bolts that tore through the mob. Midnight and Drake were not in any danger, her shots were extremely accurate.

Midnight jumped out of the reach of a vampire as it tried to jump on her. With incredible speed she reversed the situation and jumped onto the vampire and tore of its head. She let its body drop while doging the attack of another vampire. "Its like their attack is endless!" She called out jumping away from the croud in defense.
Drake grabbed one of the vampire's swords as it tried to stab into him. The blade cut his hand making blood drip on the ground. With pure force he pulled the blade out of the vampire's hand flipped it around catching the handle and shoved it into the vampire's chest and pushing him over then throws himself at another one.

"We are massively outnumbered, Suggest retreat!" cited Sai "Wait, the crystals!" responded Kai. Dari switched back to her battle claws and slashed a vampire in half as she landed, returning to furiously hack and slash at the crowd. "we need the replacement Harmony coils, Master energy levels are dropping rapidly!" exclaimed Sai. Dari popped open the panel on her wing mount while offhandedly hacking away at the advancing vampires. She threw the crystal from the necklace high into the air and launched herself after it. She executed a backflip, slamming the crystal squarely into the left empty slot and closing the array, landing squarely on the ground. "Midnight, give us that necklace!" shouted Kai as Dari furiously hacked through the vampires.

Midnight jumped out of the way of an attacking vampire and threw the necklace towards Kai. She landed skidding backwards. Once regaining her footing she charged forward at the aproching vampires she quickly cut one in half blood welled out of the cut, the body fell apart, she then sliced off another's head then kicked it nocking the head off. A vampire flashed behind her before she could defend herself it hit her in the back sending her to the ground with a thud she rolled over the vampire's blade barely missing her. It hissed with frusturation as she pushed her feet up hitting it in the chest it flew backwards a few feet from the impact. She had just enough time to get to her feet before it came back. She quickly sliced threw it from the shoulder down to its opposite hip. She was covered in blood and slowly losing control of her hunger.
Drake cut off a vampire as it rushed towards Midnight. He cut it in half another one nearly ontop of him. He barely doged its warth and pushed his sword into its heart. Blood oozed out over his blade and dripped off the handle. "How much longer do you think we can keep up with this?!" He called out to Dari.

Vladmir landed with a thud, and retracted his wings. He had calmed down to a certain degree during his flight, for elevation always cleared his mind. He walked into his home- a cave that he had decided to inhabit long ago. Sitting down at the table Vladmir drank from his wine glass, filled to the brim with blood that trickled down his mouth. He sat silent for a moment, then slammed his fist onto the table-turning it into splinters. "Curse you Dari. Curse you!" He threw his chair against the cave wall, splintering it, and shot out of the cave as fast as he could with a burst of his wings, heading northwest....to Karamorre Mountain...
