Axel sighed as he watched her go as he couldn't help but smile. His love for her had grown deep, but he had yet to gather the nerve to tell her that he loved her. There was something about her that had him completely entranced. Maybe it was the fact that she was easily one of the most beautiful girls in Kiri, or maybe it was her cheerful nature, or maybe it was the fact that she cared so much about others. Or maybe it was her childish attitude, which was very similar to his own. He watched as her hair trailed behind her and smiled. "I think I'll let her win just this once," Axel chuckled to himself as he stretched his legs in order to give Sosay a head start. After a minute or so, Axel dashed in that very same direction, closing on her fast yet staying at a good distance.

Mileena arrived at the Mizukage's door with slight trepidation. She shrugged it off confidently however and raised a small hand to daintily knock on the Mizukage's door.

A heavy sigh escaped the lips of Deil as the two genin left his office, and he shut the door once they had left. He glanced at the hawk nibbling at the meaty scraps he had fed it this morning, and remembered that it was about time he had written that note to Misuki. He sat down at his desk and pulled the small scroll back out that he had been working on before the two genin had entered his office. After about 10 minutes of consideration and writing, he sealed the scroll and held out his forearm for the hawk to land on. It jumped off the coat rack and glided over to his waiting arm. It lifted one leg to scratch its head as Deil used twine to secure the scroll to the bird, and then gave it a couple strokes on the neck. The hawk pushed back against his hand in pleasure as he whispered, "Fly quickly, but stay safe. You never know what's waiting for you out there." He then held the arm out the window for it to take flight, and it did so. Just then he heard a knock at the door, so he walked back over to his seat and stood in front of it as he waited for the visitor to enter. "Enter." He felt kind of lonely now that the hawk wasn't there, but he could always busy himself to relieve some of the ache.

After the short walk and exactly five minutes of searching, Rios found his long lost carton of cigarettes and lighter. He managed to light it and smoke the entire thing before making it to the Kage's tower. He made his way up past the secretaries and other personnel of the tower until he made his way to the door of the Kage's office. And he saw Mileena already there and knocking on the door. With his bag of groceries still in hand he waited to Mileena to enter before he would tag along inside.

Kiyoko followed him as he enetered the tower. She couldn't help but to smile at his continuous looking for something. When she found it she shook her head laughing mentally. He really was a strange one wasn't he? She noted her kinsmen there, and paused. With so many people there she didn't want to seem like she was bombarding him, so she stood at the door. but would wait, he didn't need so many people in there at once, and if she really wanted to it wouldn't be heard to understand whats being said inside. she could wait till the others were done.

Mileena opened the door slightly, peeking inside at the man around the desk that was the Mizukage. He gave off this powerful aura that caused those who met him for the first time to cringe. She stepped inside without closing the door behind her, knowing that Rios, one of Kiyoko's friends whom she had met in the restaurant was out there and was about to enter. Paying no heed to her surroundings, Mileena stepped closer to his desk and bowed lightly, making it appear as if she felt no ill-will towards him. Taking out her notebook and the pencil, Mileena wrote her name and rank quickly, then handed it to him. "My name is Mileena Mayu, one of the newest Genin in the village. It's really nice to finally meet you Mr. Mizukage sir". Though her words exuded geniality, her poker face failed to do so as well.

Daichi reciprocated the bow, but it wasn't as steep since it isn't fitting for a superior in rank to match the bow depth of subordinates. He took the notebook that contained her scribbled notes and read over them. He gave her a knowing gaze once he finished. Both Daichi and Kiyoko had used telepathy to talk to him, so he knew well that Mileena probably had the same ability. He grabbed his brush and wrote "Use it," on the paper. As he turned it to her so she could read it, he raised his voice some so those in the hall could hear him. "Anyone else waiting to see me can come on in. I have something to say to you all."

Rios sighed and followed suit, he walked up to the door and leaned on it as to prop it open, out of politeness to allow Kiyoko and hopefully Matsuya to enter. He gave a nod and lazy wave over to the Mizukage to acknowledge that although he wasn't fully it the room, he was present and a participant in the conversation as he propped the door open with his body.

Mileena's entire body tensed slightly at the two simple words on the paper. She had expected that he would have known about her ability from the mention of her name, since Kiyoko had already been to see him earlier and must have used it to communicate. But just the thought of linking her mind with his sent chills tiptoeing up her spine. As her thoughts veered to the image of Kiyoko, she sensed her presence just outside the office. She felt less edgy now that her ersatz sister was here. She looked the Mizukage directly in his eyes and began. "Good evening sir. As I wrote just now, my name is Mileena Mayu, one of the newest Genin to the village. It is an honour to finally meet you. And I hope that I'll be able to get along with you, even though you're from Su...". Mileena caught herself before she spilled anymore of her thoughts. She remembered her dreadful past from Sunagakure, and the fact that the Mizukage before her was originally from there made her feel uncertain.

Matsuya walked slowly up the stairs of the office, apparently studying each one as he went. He was still deep in thought about what he should do with the current situation. He'd been hiding his powers for so long that he'd just grown accustomed to keeping them pushed down in his mind. But now he knew that people could read his mind, his first friend being one of them. But Kiyoko already knew that he could talk to spirits. He'd let that slip last night at the cemetary. But he didn't want to keep people from knowing just to support his own selfish desire to be normal. Matsua emerged from this thought as he reached the top step and saw Kiyoko and Rios standing there. He felt Mileena and Deil inside the office, but that was to be expected. Mileena had been adament about meeting the new Mizukage and Deil was the Mizukage. It was only natural that he would be here. Matsuya stood near his friends, his hands still in his pockets. He would wait for Kiyoko to enter first. It seemed the gentlemanly thing to do.

Kiyoko waited as Matsuya showed up. Looking at him she knew he was deep in thought, because his thoughts were so loud she caught whispers of his worries and gave him a comforting smile She understood all too well what he was thinking about. She was then caught off by the Kage asking them all to enter his office, he had something to tell them. She stepped lightly by Rios so as not to be rude, and stood slightly next to her sister but also away from her. She hoped to show the kage she didn't have exactly the same views as some of the others. She WANTED to trust him when it seemed the others did not. So she bowed to him.
Hello again Deil san was all she said before glancing around at the room.

Matsuya watched as Kiyoko entered the room. The smile she gave could only mean one thing: she'd heard him thinking. He didn't mind though. She already knew and he trusted her enough to keep it quiet for the time being. Matsuya gave Rios a small nod of thanks and walked into the office. He stood against the wall near the door. He removed his hands from his pockets and looked up at Deil. "Sir." Matsuya was staying quiet, unlike last night. Last night he'd wanted to scope Deil out. Now that he had, he didn't want the man to distrust him. He believed what he himself had said at the restaurant. Even if we don't trust him, we need to keep the illusion that we do. It was for the best. Matsuya would simply wait for Deil to say what he had to say.

Rios watched as he let his friends slip into the office, as they did so he slowly let the door close behind him and stayed next to the door with his bag of groceries still in hand as he leaned against the frame. Making sure to stay close to Matsuya. He watched as Kiyoko approached the Mizukage and greeted him, Rios made sure to watch the man and his actions, his features, the way he breathed. As mizukage, the man should know that all eyes are on him. Rios wasn't new to this office though, he had been in the room several times before, though it did currently lack the previous Kage's touch. He was made genin a few years ago, and he had been on a few patrols through the country side nothing too notable, and nothing too dangerous. But all of that was going to change now that there was a new rump occupying the 'chair'. A new face, and a clean slate. Rios waited quietly for the on coming words.

Once everyone entered the room, Deil began his mini-speech after clasping his hands behind his back. "It has come to my attention that the only effort made to repair this village since the bijuu attack was to clear away the debris. In order to make this village more functional and easier to defend, we need to make repairs and improvements to many of the structures here in the village." He pointed at Kiyoko and Mileena. You two will be accompanying me to the gates to perform repairs and make tactical improvements while the rest of you stay here and fix up this building. This window behind me needs to be fixed, the glass I swept up against the hall needs to be cleaned up properly, and the damaged siding on the east side of this building needs to be replaced. Any broken roof tiles also need to be replaced. You'll probably need to go into town to get the supplies." He then pulled out a small scroll from a drawer and tossed it to Matsuya. He then performed a series of handsigns to create three wind clones. He went from looking at the different individuals to looking directly at Matsuya with his usual serious expression. You will be in charge of the tower repair group as your first personal test of leadership, but I am leaving behind these clones to make sure nothing is done out of ill intentions to the office while I am away. They will also direct anyone else who shows up. You can present that scroll to the shop owners, and they will bill the me instead of you."Deil's clones stayed behind his desk, but he made his way through the small crowd to the door and opened it. He gestured to Kiyoko and Mileena as he spoke to the entire group. "This is your first official mission, and you will need to report to my clones when you are done to see what the next one is and who will be in charge of it. I'll put you to work as long as you are willing until the village is repaired. Keep in mind that your performance will dictate who you end up with as squadmates. He then exited the building and walked toward the gates to begin fortifying the village's first line of stationary defense. (Exit to Gates)

Kiyoko listened to what he was saying. She nodded, the construction was something she wanted to work on soon anyway. He split them into teams and explained what their job was and she nodded. She looked to the others curiously. She was unsure why he had split them up so oddly. Why would he have two of the same clan working together. He seemed serious though so she didn't question him. She bowed and then walked out after him not wanting to lag behind. She was curious as to what his motives were in this but said nothing.
