User Image None of Nyx's pokemon would really be helpful, but something was better than nothing. She let Newton out of his ball, since he met the ghost requirement. If it weren't for the fact that her squirtle was white and easily visible, she'd have let her out.

With a quick glance and nervous grin back at Jen, Nyx followed TRP down the hall and below deck, careful to be as quiet as possible.

Newton knew what was up. This was just like the stealth missions in video games! Nyx has told him. Totally awesome! So the little balloon ghost followed very quietly behind Nyx and concentrated on making himself invisible.

Nodding at TRP's words (and casting a quick "dont mess with me" glare at Sorano) Jen unlocked and quietly released her dark-colored Pidgey.

Thankfully, the dust that she had smeared on his feathers earlier was still sticking. As he settled on her shoulder, the Grunt placed a finger to her lips as a motion to stay as quiet as possible. Being the smart pokemon he was, Yamir nodded and clung tighter to his trainer's shoulder as his feathers slicked down to keep from making any noise.

Following after the elite, Jen couldnt help but wrinkle her nose a bit at the smell of cigar but didnt voice her displeasure as Yamir himself gagged silently on the taste. Lucky b*****d and his lack of sense of smell.

Reaching the stairs door, the grunt follow the elite down. Her steps slow on the rusted incline, looking fragile enough to break under their combine weight-

Oh Lugia! Bad thoughts! Bad thoughts!
If only there was some wood she could knock on now...

The steps were narrow, and creaked lightly no matter how careful you were. This was certainly not a place for people with claustrophobia due to the cramped quarters. The group would continue downward slowly and carefully until a couple decks down, Nikki stopped the procession suddenly.

The reason why would be evident as footsteps resounded down a hall. The gleam from a flashlight also visible just a few steps below them.

Turning to look up, she held up her hand to motion everyone to hold still and be quiet... but then the glow from Seraphina's tail flame caught her attention. What the... What was she thinking?! Now Nikki was waving frantically and pointing as best she could at the Charmeleon. That thing needed to be put away!

User ImageSorano stared down at Never than towards Horatio. The Flareon was a courageous but ignorant fool so after some small silent argument, Sorano withdrew him and the flame Pokemon unhappily obliged. Horatio was the only one he left out. He knew the Shuppet would be quiet -- darkness was its muse. It would enjoy this part of the mission heavily, Sorano knew it.

Cringing from Jen's glare next, the teal haired grunt followed after everyone. The smell of cigar smoke reminded him of Father, the dried paint of his old room back in Kanto. Oh, what memories! But this was hardly the moment to he skipping down memory lane. This was a mission! Keep your mind on track Sorano!

User Image Just as Bonnie was about to go down the stairs with the others, she paused. Lilith, the girl who had walked off in front of her, had a Charmeleon. The tail flame on that pokemon...it wouldn't be the most inconspicuous thing. A frown replaced the smirk that was on her lips a moment earlier, and to get her fellow grunt's attention, the orange-haired girl extended out a hand to reach for her shoulder.

"Your Charmeleon," she said in a whisper, her voice neither cold nor overly-excited. Her tone was stoic, if anything. "You might want to switch it for something else. The tail is too conspicuous." With that, Bonnie said no more, and decided to follow down after Nikki and Hayes.

Zach decided that since he had Ishiyu and they wanted to cut back on unnecessary pokemon he would leave Amaryllis in her pokeball. He then followed After Nikki and Hayes, with Ishiyu trailing behind him, both being as quiet as possible. Hopefully he wouldn't mess this up, his heart started racing as they proceeded inside.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Lilith continued on down the stairs and Serafina followed suit. As the woman looked up, however, she saw the frantic waving signal of the lead agent pointing at her and... Lilith looked at the Charmeleon's tail. It was lit up bright as day. The palm of her hand met her forehead as she growled in aggravation. Her mission and she was already screwing up! She retrieved Sera angrily and sighed through her nose. This was already getting bad...

Lilith spun around towards the voice by her. It was a fellow grunt. Trying not to vent her anger out on the innocent bystander, she nodded compliantly. "Yeah, I got it." She switched out the Fire Lizard Pokemon for Ziazan, whom Lilith held in her arms to keep from bouncing all over the place. This was a disaster...

User ImageBefore heading off, he released Shade, his Gengar to whom he muttered two words, invisible and silence. Shade nodded and fell out of sight, fallowing his human closely. The pokemon could tell they were on the mission, doing the thing he had been trained for, stealth.

Panther made a quick survey of the four people with him and then fallowed the elite through the door, staying respectfully close.

Here too it was dusty, dingy, the scent of the sea fading into a growing cacophony of old chemicals, old oil, old paint and old paper.

Thankfully, Hayes didn't bump into Nikki when she stopped all of a sudden. The agent stilled, narrowing his eyes to make out the shape of a patrolling guard, and shifted his hold on the handrails to something more secure.

He breathed calmly and easily, endeavoring to blend into the darkness, and chanced a glance up at their little group.

And someone spoke.

Hayes winced.

It definitely wasn't the best of ideas to pack heavy for this mission, Addison concluded as she ungraciously hefted herself onto the ship after being one of the last to climb on. Her blazing red hair was covered by a black newsboy cap. Goggles were strapped over her eyes, her normally loud, steel-plated boots were replaced by regular, softly-padded ones, and a varying set of stealth black (and most likely explosive) equipment was secured firmly to her belt.
One could never be too prepared.

She had heard the instructions from before... just had taken a tediously long time to get to the deck. By the time she had pulled herself over the side of the ship, most of the Rockets had already split up into groups and began to depart. Already having Patches secured away in his pokeball, Addison quietly scrambled over behind the black-haired grunt known as Panther and stealthily followed at the back of TRP's group.

User Image Bonnie did a silent facepalm when Lilith spoke and Hayes winced from down below. That wasn't a good sign at all. Why couldn't some people just keep their mouths shut? The grunt kept hers zipped up tight as she thought this, but gazed down the stairs to see the guard. That wasn't good. If he saw them, then they were busted. He'd have to be taken out carefully, but if their cover was blown before then, well...everything would be over. Bonnie couldn't help but mentally thank Banshee for being able to go invisible. At least she was less likely to be noticed.

"Yeah, I got it."

The voice reverberated off the metal bulkheads in the narrow stairwell, causing Nikki to glare.

However, when she turned around, the blonde agent was momentarily blinded by the flashlight that was now shining up at them.

"'Ey wot's this? Who're ya?!" The guard demanded of the group that was lined up on the staircase. But he caught sight of the red R on Nikki's jumpsuit. "Yer Team Rocket!"

User ImageAt the base of the stairs there was no door.

Furin floated ahead and peeked into the next room. The little Pokemon flew back up the stairs, flailing her nubby arms. TRP nodded and looked back at the others, whispering, "Look sharp. The next room isn't empty."

The Elite edged quietly down the stairs and risked a glance into the next room before pulling back. The room was a decent size, but poorly lit. Two bored-looking men were milling around near another door on the opposite end of the room.

TRP resumed whispering, "There's two men.. Panther, if your Gengar can get in and pull their attention another Pokemon could knock them out."

User ImageSorano considered the idea. Horatio could use Knock off and throw the two men off their feet, but he might not be quick enough. Never would be quick enough with a Quick Attack but might cause a racket in the process. He decided to stand this one out . . . his odds were not grand.
