I've always picked the Fire starter first, and I am not about to break tradition.
I can't wait untill they reveal some more Dark types. I'm already running moveset ideas in my head. xp

I'm realy starting to love the grass starter. At first I thought they were all terrible, but the green gecko-lizzard-thingamajig is growning on me. The otter scares me [It looks like a clown and those things freak me out sweatdrop ] and the fire pig looks too bland.
I think the legendary mascots are amazing. I love that they made one an electric type. Finally electricity gets some love in the [possibly/most likely] uber field with Zekrom. Reshiram deffinately fits as a fire type; looks all smokey. And I love the zebra, Shimama. So far the game slook promising pokemon-wise. I cant wait to see more on the gameplay itself. 3nodding

Gargoyle of the dark hi guys, I haven't been on the guild for a little bit, but I have to say the legendaries of black and white look awesome. I think I'll get all the starters and name the pig either dinner or bacon. biggrin I was going to name mine Bacon

All pokemon start out with Japanese names. Gamefreak will give them different names when the game comes to America.

I might name mine Valakut or Ganondorf. Kudos to whoever gets why I picked those.
I can't wait to see what other Dark types and Fire types are coming out. I already know of two pokemon I am going to train. If I knew their states, I would also know how to train them. Regardless, I am getting ideas.

Meguroko looks very promising. I hope to see it's evolution(s) soon, especially since I love gators.
Chiramii is simply adorable. Munna is kinda weird, but cute. Gear, Hihidaruma, and Mamepato do nothing for me, however. Just not a big fan of their designs.
I'm undecided about Shimama. I like electric types, and the abilities are nice, but it looks kinda funny.
Zekrom and Reshiram (who's typing is unusual but good nontheless) are simply awesome. I think I'll have to wait to see each version's exclusives before I decide between Black and White.

I don't think Reshiram's typing is unusal at all, rather a little cliche. think fire breathing dragon. while it doesnt look like a fire breathing dragon, the type matchup is a little boring for me. most dragons can use fire moves anyway, if not all of them, and adding the fire type to Reshiram makes him much weaker to ground. unless it levitates. i still say they needed a dragon/ice type. the type matchup is weaking to fighting, rock, dragon and steel but it would look cool.
and 5th gen needs more ghost types! there are only about 16 total so far.

Unfortunately, I don't know who Valakut is but Ganon's got that whole giant monster pig-thing going on. Anyway, Serebii's got some new info concerning the Illusion ability of Zoroark and Zorua. Apparently it changes them into the second Pokemon in your party. @Ayame: That it most certainly does. I need more good Ghosts for my mono-Ghost team. Or at least the Rotom formes to be usable over Wi-fi. That would open up quite a few options for me.
