As Tsunaimei pressed her chest upon the wall she could feel a soft heartbeat from the heart upon the wall. While the picture itself never changed it seemed like it was beating or pulsing at least behind the actual picture. Aside from that nothing happened in the room.

"Ouch!" She cried out, shaking her hand and jumping up and down a little. She felt the hair on her head standing up and she sighed. She then decided to try another door (2A).

As Alundra entered the room the door locked behind her, just as solidly as it had in the other rooms. The room was completly bare and empty there was no writing, no images, no levers or switches. The room was bare except for a small hole in the ceiling that was covered by a screen.
Meanwhile in Maluc's room he continued to shout into the speaking tubes. "Can anyone hear me?!" His voice could be heard in the hallway outside all the rooms as well as in the room Alundra was in. "If anyone can hear me please say something!"

As Alundra squinted up at the ceiling, she heard Maluc's voice. "I'm alive Maluc! I'm trapped in a room! I don't see anything except some small hole in the ceiling!" She began to wonder what the screen was for.

Hearing Alundra call back through one of the tubes, Maluc felt a wave of relief wash over him. "You're in a room and you can hear me, there must be some reason for that. I have a whole bunch of switches in here. I'm gonna start going through them, yell when or if anything happens in the room you're in." After that he headed over to the levers along the wall. Readying himself for anything before he pulled the first one he took a deep breath. Flipping the first lever he waited for a response from Alundra.
Outside in the hallway as the first switch was thrown the door to the third door on the left flung itself open. (3A)
Waiting a minute or so Maluc decided nothing was going to happen to Alundra from that lever. Throwing the second switch he heard something begin to happen around him. In that same instant water began pouring in from the ceiling into the room around Alundra. It was easy to gauge that within ten to fifteen minutes the room would be completely filled with water. At the same time bright green letters appeared along the wall.
"This old one runs forever, but never moves at all. He has not lungs nor throat, but still a mighty roaring call."
Sitting still in his room wondering what the sound through the wall was, Maluc waited for Alundra to yell from her room.

"MALUC! THE ROOM IS FILLING UP WITH WATER!" She shouted, now realizing what the hole was for but still no clue as for why the screen was there. Through the hole, she was able to communicate with Maluc and hear him.
That's when the green caught her eyes and she looked to them.
"...'This old one runs forever, but never moves at all. He has not lungs nor throat but still a mighty roaring call'....?" Her mind racked with possible answers.
Courage? Waterfall? Water? Ocean? Screen? She looked around, panic slowly filling her.

Hearing his vice Judge through the tube Maluc sprinted back to the voice tubes. As he was about to ask a question he heard her speaking to herself. Once he heard the riddle he let it run through his mind. "Maybe it has something to do with the water! Try to stay calm and think, I know you can get through this!" He shouted to her hoping it was enough to keep her on track so she could find the answer.

Alundra bit her bottom lip as Maluc's voice eliminated more than half the answers. Her mind whirled before she found courage and her voice to shout:
"Is it a waterfall?"
She waited for a reaction and wondered if she was supposed to do something.

The pace of the water quickened and the letters changed to a light blue. "Alive without breath, as cold as death never thristy, ever drinking, all in mail, never clinking. What am I?"
"Did it work? Are you safe?!" Maluc asked, his voice coming through the screen in the roof.

"I-it did work but now its filling faster!" She responded with worry. She took a steadying breath and repeated the riddle.

Maluc listened as Alundra repeated the riddle. "It still seems to have something to do with water. But I think this one is a little more indirect." He felt so useless just listening to her peril, he couldn't seem to think of what the answer might be at all.

The riddle threw her off. Alive without breath made her think of a lich or something undead. But that wouldn't work with all in mail and never clinking. The 'all in mail, never clinking', made her think of armor. So most certainly it had to be armor. Armor was in a sense alive, and without breath. It was never thirsty....but did it drink? Perhaps. In the blood of an enemy.
But what armor was ALIVE?! She tapped a finger against her chin, lost in thought. She had to remember it most certainly had something to do with water. So what was alive, wore 'mail' and was water based?
A crab? A lobster? A clam? But none of them was really cold either. Was cold thrown in to make her derail?
She thought she could hear someone shouting in her mind she was over thinking it. Alundra shook her head and it was as if she slammed her head into the wall.
"Could it be...a fish?" Fish had scales....in a sense mail. They were never thirsty and was always drinking, they were always in the water. They could be cold because sometimes they were in freezing waters. And their 'mail' never clanked!
How could she over think it?!
((Like seriously! Good one! XD))

As she spoke the word fish the water began to pour faster, though it was already at her waist. Flooding down from the ceiling the roar of the water was beginning to echo through the speaking tube to Maluc. As it happened a new riddle appeared the text falling further to a darker blue. "Always old, sometimes new, never sad, sometimes blue. Never empty, sometimes full, never pushes, always pulls."
"Alundra! Are you alright?! All I can hear is water rushing! Did you solve it?!" Maluc shouted into the speaking tube hoping she wasn't drowning because he couldn't think of the answer.

"I did and once more a riddle! At this rate, I'll drown myself! The last one I over thought!" She shouted back. Alundra was in almost in full panic; she wasn't a good swimmer and she was unsure of how long she could hold her breath if necessary.

"Quick tell me the riddle, perhaps I might be able to keep you from over thinking if we just talk it out!" Maluc was beginning to panic as well, he could barely hear her over the rushing of the water in the other room. Thinking a presumably stupid thought he ran and flipped the lever again, hoping it would either stop the room filling with water or perhaps even restart the chain of riddles giving them more time on this riddle. Instead something else happened in the room. Large spikes jutted out and sat still protruding from the walls. on every side. Hearing them creak and jaunt out through the speaking tube across the room. Maluc sprinted back. "What was that sound? Did something just happen?!" He asked, hoping it was something good but realizing he probably just did something very stupid.
